Lawruthian skimmed over his status sheet. A new bloodline and new classes were all gifts of G.E.N.E.S.I.S—gifts from Rasheed the Final Dragon. He still held another ten levels to assign and couldn't do so until at least one class was upgraded to the next tier. An increase in skill strength and versatility were incoming.

" I intend to walk the path: [Imperius Golemlord] and [Divine Sovereign of Edryan]."

Once again there was only a sole voice, but Lawruthian knew Minerva was uttering the same. She was far away, hiding from the perception of Path Walkers but their voices spoke in sync across such distances.

Their visions faded—their bodies ready to pick an advance class.

Withdrawing within themselves until none but blackness remains.

As all sound faded.

As all colors escaped.

Until within Lawruthian saw nothing but whiteness.

As all taste returned.

As all feelings heighten.

Lawruthian smiled. This class was an immediate upgrade of his current class and likely wasn't too dissimilar to what he was already doing at his first look. He skimmed the core skills. Imperius Battleking would make his golem much smarter without the need for hands on control. Instead of an active it became a passive ability while swallowing Rune-Scribing of Elevation, Golem Forging, Emergency Repairs, Imperius Infusion, and Golem Commander. It took their core functions and came underneath one skill. Such a skill would allow him to more effectively and efficiently construct golems without high mana usage.

What really interested him was how smart such golems would become. What Lawruthian ultimately wanted from his first class was automatous agents and a second body per se. A suit of armor around himself that could combine with his strength to give him more advantages. It would be even better if he could design these suits and bestow them upon special soldiers to do the same.

Lawruthian hesitated as he took a look at Imperius Unity which consumed Overclocked and Critical Mass.

Imperius Unity

Rarity: Heroic

Category: Core Skill

Properties:

1. Man and Golem-suit become one, merging mind, body, and attributes to battle. ‎ 2. Sacrifice MP to gain Attributes +150% for 4 hours. For each hour active, suffer Attributes -50%. ‎ 3. Eject yourself from the golem, activating its core for destruction, increasing AOE range by 100% and damage by Core Charge percentage.

Activation Cost:

500 MP per property.

Description:

A unity of man and golem. Perhaps it can lead to a symbolic connection that forges a new type of class.

This was… interesting. This was partly what he wanted. The ability to merge with his golem suit and truly wear it as a living armor. To combine this function with Imperius Battleking and control several golems while also using his main body to fight…

If he could build a suit for his new forms…

Lawruthian began to grow more excited as he did quick calculations. Even merging with a 4 star golem would be a tremendous boost to his power allowing none underneath the level of a demigod to affect him much. Then, if he changed into his hybrid form or turned into a full fledge dragon, the power available to him would be a 5 times multiplier of his base form. It would immediately put him at the Life Point levels of a demigod.

That was a powerful thing he couldn't just push to the side. It almost made him accept on the spot, but he drew his eyes away and continued down the list. He had two class upgrades to get through, and not one. After, he had several meetings to attend and updates to be heard. General Alexandria and Ameri, Lily Maar, Bucca, Kathrine, and more wanted his attention or had updates he requested. Nor could Lawruthian ignore the New Greats as they were now called. They did a fantastic job representing Edryan on a larger stage and achievements must be recognized.

Imperius Automaton Foundry

Imperius Golemlord, ten or more golem-related skills.

Class Type:

Description:

Automatons are intricately crafted machines built for all types of purposes, exploration, combat, and even childcare. Imperius Automatons do it all but better.

"This is… interesting."

Lawruthian read the properties of the first skill, his throat grew dry and his eyes brightened. He carefully read over the skill, all thoughts of Imperius Golemking and the Imperius Unity skill nearly faded.

Automaton Creation

Rarity: Heroic

Category: Core Skill

Imbue crafted automatons with unique skills based on the material they are created from.

Activation Cost:

250 MP, 100 SP per 30 minutes.

Description:

Bring your creations to life, allow them to learn your ways, and even respond verbally to your commands. Perhaps one day, after intaking enough information, they too will possess the breath of life.

Recursion Engine was far too similar to Adaptive Learning Algorithm. In fact, it nearly seemed like the system copied the divine skill but gave him it one tier lower. It was not at a stage that didn't require the Goddess's power or influence.

Lawruthian bit a sharp nail. What I want the most is the best of both worlds. This class is clearly structured for producing smarter machines judging by this skill and the rest.

The desire within him nearly had him press Accept right there. It was only after a moment where he closed his eyes and calmed down that Lawruthian continued. He glanced at the other core skills. Man and Machine had functions similar to Imperius Unity but without the extra boost to his Life Points and coupled with Gears of War… he swallowed, his throat dry.

"Kathrine, get me a drink," he called.

The abilities would allow him to be a one man-machine army. It could literally field a troop of over a thousand automatons so long as he was involved in the crafting process. And, it would give him the ability to precisely control them all. A control that was far better than using a Golem Controller.

Kathrine entered, an array of drinks on hand. Lawruthian took one, chugged it. Then he quickly took a second and third. Only after did he inquire about other matters.

"Did you manage to get the rare materials to Tenten Parlor, alongside breakfast?"

"Yes, Your Highness," Kathrine greeted. "I've also had a report prepared for all the information you requested me to gather."

"Good, thank you Kathrine, you may leave."

Lawruthian returned his attention back to his class upgrade. There was one final class to look over before he came to a decision.

Description:

Machine and Men combine forces to take a step toward a limitless future.

"I could build a new Total Kit archetype from this," Lawruthian giddily spoke. He chuckled and moved from his balcony to his study. He sat at his desk and spun his chair, head tilted back as he contemplated a choice between the three. "A new line of EGO models like Huego, Hela, and Hector."

The three golems were decommissioned currently, their cores and more importantly the Adaptive Learning Algorithm spell at its center now served the Class Based Constitutional Monarchy counting votes, tallying the population, and gaining a deeper understanding of Edryan. They'd been rented out by LSG to the government.

The third class advancement was about solidifying your path. The next fifty levels would focus on whatever route he chose. He began this journey as a Hero of Edryan. The class was a blank slate that allowed him to mode it to his needs. From it Imperius Golemlord was birth and a plethora of ideas was given form. Originally he started with the concept of Adam, his first golem. Several versions existed and at one point it became a sudo suit that he could wear into battle against Olvido.

The idea was great but the execution was lackluster due to the fact he held no skill that could combine the best of both worlds. That would now change.

The paths before him were three extremes. The first would make him a One Man Army. For up to 4 hours he could battle with any golem of his creation while merging attributes. At its current maximum, Lawruthian would have a 5 times multiplier applied to his dragon form. His hybrid and human state would experience significant boost but none to that state. He doubted anyone below the upper 200s could face him on a one on one and win. Granted, if he used his bloodline abilities and whatever else enhancements he could, then Lawruthian would become an unstoppable force.

Imperius Automaton Foundry would turn him into an Army of One. From one extreme to the another, Lawruthian could now merge himself with an army of automatons of his creation with special effects and features. The skill, Man and Machine would allow him to control one golem per point of Intent depending on their tier. In his base state, that was roughly 425 first star golems. A small, but powerful force could be built to surround him at all times, always underneath his control with little mana cost to him.

Imperius Maker would change not just his combative style, but that of any elites he selected. Lawruthian almost wanted to call it a class in the middle but in truth it was neither. He would still have the ability to connect with golems and merge attributes but without the extra enhancements. What was the most promising was what Machine Men offered.

This class… it could built golem suits and have an automatic function to connect with its wearer while merging attributes. What did this mean?

To Lawruthian, it meant he could increase not just his overall strength but that of special combatants and warriors in the army. Suits built for war, stealth, surveillance, and more. There was too many possibilities to choose from and paths this class could further develop.

He wanted them all.

He needed all of these classes and their features. Was it better to be a One Man Army as Imperius Golemking? The final evolution at level 100 would increase the effectiveness of all skills by more than double. It would make him a powerhouse never before seen in thousands of years. Or he could become an Army of One or Imperius Automaton Foundry. That would turn him into a necromancer-like existence but with golems. The stronger he got and the more Intent he had, the more golems he could add under his control without strain. If he coupled this with a Golem Controller that allowed him to control another few hundred or thousand golems, then he could be his own force within Imperius Army. While Imperius Maker was sort of a flex like position.

He sat there for an hour, forgetting his breakfast and waving Kathrine away when she came to remind him. This decision was to vital and needed to be deeply thought about. He sighed, unable to make a verdict immediately, he turned away and looked at his second class evolution options, still slowly spinning at his desk. Several golem action figures watched him from it. Lightly, he tapped his finger against the arm rest in a rhythmic pattern.

"Oh, it's not easy this time," Lawruthian mused. "It seems the Sin of Pride didn't offer me a class again."

During the previous class upgrade, Lawruthian received the chance to be a Holy Scion of Pride. He was startled that such a class even appeared for him and didn't know what it would mean should he have accepted. It was a curious thing that he turned away quickly and eventually picked Divine Sovereign of Edryan over the second option.

"A Magi class shouldn't be possible," Lawruthian continued to muse. "I haven't comprehended any runes past the sixth tier. The only change was my comprehension of all ten Primary Elements. Could it be you don't need a tenth tier rune to become a Magi?"

Lawruthian slowly skimmed the options of his second class advancement. Many things stood out to him, such as the complete reformat of his second class. The only one that seemed remotely similar was Faith-Forging Prince of Edryan.

"Faith-Forging Prince of Edryan, a class that…," Lawruthian paused in his reading. His body sat straight, then he jumped up in astonishment. "Impossible."

He shook his head, closed his eyes, and upon reopening them he rubbed them again just to see if what he was seeing remained the same.

" Seed of Divinity. "

His throat was dry, and traces of hunger pangs finally showed themselves. He read the description of the skill after selecting it, unsure of what he should think or even do.

"Grants a Seed of Divinity with no base Law allowing one to comprehend any Law they can grasp...," Lawruthian gasped. "This… this directly skips a Touch of Divinity and puts you on the second tier. It places you right below your law sprouting and turning you into a Demigod!"

Lawruthian stood in stunned silence for several minutes, vertical pupils stared at the final class option. His thoughts were broken after a knock at the door.

"Come in," he called dismissively. It was likely Kathrine returning to remind him of his duties.

"Since you forgot we were supposed to be eating breakfast together," a sweet voice called, "I brought breakfast to you."

Lawruthian turned, startled, and stared into the vertical pupils of Madria. He swallowed, a desire like never before entering his heart as he saw her. It almost caused him to miss the figure that stood silently behind the young woman.

Almost.

"Kubrat Musa, Demigoddess of Illusions" Lawruthian's firm voice spoke. "To what do I owe this… pleasure?"
