Infinite wealth In A New World

Chapter 286: Challenge

"I hope everyone enjoyed the break! Now, let's invite our top five to the stage." The commentator's voice was electric, pointing dramatically at the cleared arena floor.

"Let's welcome the first place, Ruler of Light!"

The entire arena focused on the stage as the white-haired woman, glided into position, her face a mask of absolute, serene power.

"The next! Miss Eve!"

Eve, composed but highly focused, moved to stand beside the Ruler of Light.

"Then! Sofia, Mike, and Iron Hand!" The remaining three winners—tough, battle-hardened individuals—moved forward, completing the final group of five.

"Ok, now the Shadow Guards!" The commentator announced, turning to the side of the arena. Five figures in identical, black, concealing outfits stepped forward. Their collective auras, though restrained, clearly reached the Peak Celestial Rank.

'This will be difficult. These guys all have Spirit Energy, not just Celestial, and each one takes specialized combat training from the five commanders. I'm not at the level where I can teach them yet,' Eve thought, her eyes narrowed with respect.

'I don't need to see their faces; I know each one of them. Most of these guys were on Planet Gaia, battling giants—they have real death-battle experience. I must be careful.'

"Now let—"

"Are these the only people we are fighting?" the Ruler of Light interrupted, her voice cutting through the arena like ice. "I alone can deal with them all." Her words stunned everyone, including Sunny.

"Wow! Is the Ruler of Light that powerful?" someone in the crowd muttered, shocked by her casual arrogance.

"I can't believe this... With her tone, she is deadly serious. Maybe she can defeat them," another whispered, the collective belief in her strength rising despite the absurdity of the claim.

Sunny frowned slightly, and activated the system.

{Name: Natasha Michael.}

{Bloodline: Light Saint - Legendary Rank.}

{Rank: Divine rank, stage one.}.

{Strength: 90,000.}

{Agility: 100,000.}

{Stamina: 80,000.}

{Defense: 80,000.}

{Attack: 100,000.}

{Celestial Energy: 1,000,000.}

{Note: Stats will change once Target put on armor.}

'Ok... Show me her bloodline advantage.'

{Bloodline: Light Saint description: Descendant of light, gain 50% immunity to all light attacks.}

{Ultimate move: Attacks with the light element which ignores all defenses, infinite uses, doesn't consume Celestial energy.}

'A Divine Rank warrior hiding her true power. She only possesses Celestial energy, yet she's arrogant before Spirit Energy users because her ultimate move ignores all defenses,' Sunny analyzed, understanding her confidence.

'This girl is truly powerful. If she can become Ellen's guard, it would massively increase her safety, and I could easily upgrade her bloodline to the God level... But this lady is far too arrogant. A small lesson will set her head straight.'

"Do you think we are weak?!" Denny, one of the Shadow Guards, snapped, his face concealed but his anger palpable.

"I didn't say that," the Ruler of Light replied flatly. "You guys are strong, perhaps. But before my eyes, your efforts are weaklings."

"Ok then... I will just teach you a lesson in respect." Alexandra, another Shadow Guard, stepped forward, her powerful aura causing the others to recoil slightly. Without waiting for a signal, she lunged.

"Weak."

The Ruler of Light waved her hand, instantly summoning a blade of pure light energy.

"You are underestimating me!!" Alexandra roared, sending a punch charged with Spirit Energy toward the blade, confident in her superior strength.

BOOOOOOM!!

The moment her punch connected, the light blade exploded, throwing Alexandra meters backward.

BAM!!

She smashed on the ground, rising dust into the air.

"...?!"

Alexandra gasped, scrambling to her feet, stunned. "Impossible, I'm sure I blocked that attack... How come it still affected me to this extent?" she muttered, the pain bypassing her barrier.

'Can her attacks ignore defense! Or... Is this lady hiding even more power than I thought?'

_

[On the Three-Eyed Nation Royal Platform.]

"What is she doing?" Nioh asked, his confusion now turning to panic, turning to his sister.

"What do you want me to do, Brother? I am the Queen of the Three-Eyed Nation, but I am not her Queen. She didn't acknowledge me," Lola sighed, her authority rendered useless by the rogue Divine Rank fighter.

"Is it because she is a half-human and half-Three-Eyed Race?" Nioh questioned, grasping for a reason for the blatant insubordination.

Lola was silent, then exhaled deeply. "I don't know, Brother, but challenging Eldoria is not wise. Let's see what her plan is."

The commentator turned to Sunny, who gave a small, almost imperceptible nod. He turned to the Ruler of Light:

"Ruler of Light, who do you wish to compete with first?"

The entire arena fell silent, staring at the white-haired lady. After a pregnant pause, she raised her head to look directly at the Royal platform.

"I challenge God Wolf."

"...?!!"

The deadly silence that followed was absolute. Thousands of people stared at her, their minds unable to process the sheer magnitude of the suicidal arrogance.

___

After the protracted, agonizing silence, Sunny slowly rose from his throne. The soundless projection of his power instantly suffocated the Divine Rank aura of the Ruler of Light.

"You challenge me, Natasha Michael," Sunny's voice was calm, deep, and amplified only by his sheer presence, echoing like an undeniable force of nature. "You do so understanding that I, God Wolf, am not bound by the 'No Killing' rule that governs your competition."

Natasha, for the first time, held her posture with absolute conviction. "I understand, Your Majesty. Power judges power. If my strength is insufficient, my life is forfeit."

Sunny raised an eyebrow at her words:

'This lady is crazy.' He thought, and said aloud:

"Very well. But fighting you is an overkill..." He smirked:

"Before you can fight me, you should defeat my daughter, if you succeed... I will fight you." He said, staring straight at Natasha.

"....?!!"

Josephine, Jinx, Star and everyone present were stunned by his words.

'What is he doing?' Josephine thought Inwardly, but remained quiet, she knew Sunny will never do anything that'll endanger Ellen, so she trusted his decision.

With a casual flick of his wrist, the Shadow Guards, Eve, and the other competitors were gently lifted and deposited safely outside the combat zone.

"The challenge rules are still active," Sunny declared:

"What do you say, Ruler of light? Don't tell me you're scared of a kid."
