Reincarnated Hero System

Chapter 1133: GREAT ENEMY FELLED [Monthly Bonus 1]

A stunning silence reigned.

The Race Kings, locked in discussion over how to handle the Existence Realm Limitation on Cruotis Prime, went quiet.

The worried mother who had ignored that restriction to reach her daughter froze mid-action.

The Demon Kings, alarmed by the reports of Arthur's abduction and Jamie's erratic bursts of power across the galaxy, could only stare in disbelief.

What lay before them defied comprehension.

At the centre of this boundless Cosmos, Jamie hovered in the vacuum, one hand resting behind his back. His other hand rose, and the space above him warped, spiralling into a vortex.

From within that swirling distortion, a planet identical to Cruotis Prime began to descend.

Crushing a 'Planet's Consciousness' with the weight of a 'Planet'—how ironic.

And then, the planet fell.

It plunged through the vacuum, its colossal mass accelerating in defiance of physical law before crashing down upon the immobilised Bewússtsein with a space-shattering impact.

A blinding wave of cosmic energy erupted, tearing through the entire domain as Jamie's Cosmos fractured, its vast expanse collapsing like a broken illusion, and in an instant, reality reasserted itself, flinging everyone back into mainstream space.

Arthur and Evan reappeared within the Core Dimension, their eyes locking on the falling, battered form of Bewússtsein as he plummeted toward the ground.

Were they stunned by what they had just seen? Absolutely.

Did that mean they would waste the opportunity before them? Not a chance in hell!.

Evan acted first. Flames erupted around his sword, intensifying into a stellar inferno as he launched himself upward, swinging his blade in a wide diagonal arc.

Mesarthim: Star Splitter.

A technique created by 'Prisma' was activated—a linear laser-like slash of prismatic fire that cut through Bewússtsein's body, cleaving him from his right shoulder down to his left waist.

Exactly half a second later, Arthur's blade descended, gleaming with the silver fusion of his law energies, Divinity, Anti-Divinity, Cosmic Energy, and Null power.

Extreme Nothingness: Chaos.

The silver arc cut through space itself, instantly reaching its target and carving a path across Bewússtsein's body from his left shoulder to his right waist.

Barely a moment after, the Galaxy Sword materialised in Jamie's raised hands, his spatial power flooding into it as he activated its Weapon Authority.

Dimensional Slash.

Jamie's attack severed the dimensions themselves, inverting the colours of space until the world briefly turned monochrome as the released energy spilt from the fractured space.

The strike split through Bewússtsein's body and soul alike, cleaving him from head to crotch.

But even as Bewússtsein's body began to split apart, his hands moved, hugging himself in a desperate effort to stay whole.

With a glare fixed on Jamie, Arthur, and Evan, he forced out three words.

[Fluch…des…Todes]

Pitch-black, malignant energy burst from his body, racing toward the trio at light speed, latching onto each of them.

Silence followed.

Then, Evan spoke.

"So…I'm Loved by Nature, so I'm kinda immune to curses in a way."

Jamie added next.

"My Soul's a bit too strong for this kinda curse to work in the first place."

Arthur finished.

"The residual Null energy from my attack automatically erased the curse from existence."

The three traded glances, then shrugged in unison before speaking together.

"""Yeah, we good."""

[…!]

Bewússtsein's eyes widened one last time, the moment stretching endlessly.

'This… shouldn't be possible.'

He was the will of this world, the consciousness that governed all within it. This was his domain. Here, he should have been absolute.

'I was meant to reign, to endure beyond all else.'

Yet, in the face of these three… everything crumbled.

'Then why… why am I the one falling?'

That was his final thought before darkness consumed him.

Blood burst from his body as it broke apart, cleaved into fragments by the trio's combined slashes.

The 'Scales of Balance' have detected the Annihilation of the Target Party

Compensations and debuffs can no longer be maintained

Closing Scales. Entering Cooldown

As the final message echoed, a wave of exhaustion washed over Arthur and Evan.

Their bodies, already pushed past their limits, finally gave out. Pain coursed through them like a rising tide, forcing them to their knees as they struggled for breath, their muscles trembling and minds clouded by fatigue.

In front of Arthur, the Scales of Balance appeared, clattering to the ground as he drew in heavy breaths.

Nearby, as blood pooled beneath the scattered remains of Bewússtsein's body, Jamie's voice broke the silence.

"Brace yourself, boys."

"Huh?"

"What for?"

Arthur and Evan turned toward Jamie, brows raised, gripping their swords tighter in preparation for another attack.

But Jamie wasn't warning them about an attack.

"Technically, it's not an 'attack'."

Barely a second later, waves of Cosmic and Destruction Energy erupted from Bewússtsein's corpse. The force slammed into them, knocking them backwards as their feet scraped across the ground.

Reality ahead of them distorted, and the same gothic text from before shimmered back into view.

[GREAT ENEMY FELLED]

You have defeated "Cruotis Prime's Consciousness": "Bewússtsein"

You have gained the Title: The One Who 'Killed' a 'Planet'

You have gained the Title: The One Who Overcame Adversary

|The One Who Overcame Adversary: For every 1% of Vitality lost, your Existential Status Parameters are enhanced by 1%.

Does not apply to Self-Inflicted Vitality loss. |

An absurdly powerful title was casually thrown into the mix, but more messages appeared soon after, pushing it out of sight.

You have Completed a Spatiotemporal Nexus.

You have Altered the Fate of the Valmone Universe.

You have interfered with a Minor Fate of the Cosmos.

Suddenly, the scale of everything rose to an entirely new level, and it was no exaggeration, since defeating a 'Candidate' for the Seat of an Eternal was indeed an act of reshaping Cosmic fate.

Your Causality Index has increased immensely.

Your Universal Influence has increased immensely.

Causality finds it harder to interfere with you.

Fate finds it harder to interfere with you.

Destiny's hold on your existence has loosened.

Your Providence is yours to control.

Arthur and Evan hadn't finished skimming through the messages when the planet's core above them began to tremble.

Moments later, a colossal Sigil burst from its surface, glowing with the sky-blue hue of Time.

The planet's core energy began to destabilise, and Jamie could sense his full power returning as the Existence Realm Limitation was lifted.

The 'Candidate Sigils' of 'Time and Destruction' are without a host.

The 'Aspects of the Concepts of Time and Destruction' are manifesting in the third-dimensional plane.

The Time Sigil that rose from the planet's core and the Destruction Sigil from Bewússtsein's corpse ascended into the air, revolving around one another.

The cosmic energy radiating from them distorted space itself, causing reality to flicker and glitch in and out of focus.

Moments later, a different series of notifications appeared before each of them.

You have come in contact with 'Aspects of the Concepts of Time and Destruction'

Evan frowned the instant he saw that message, and the next line made his expression darken even more.

The 'Aspect of the Concept of Destruction' has detected an Authority of Destruction.

'Don't fucking detect anything!'

As Evan tried to shield his soul using every bit of magic power he had left, another set of messages appeared.

You are Incompatible with the 'Aspect of the Concept of Time'.

You do not possess 'Cosmic Superiority'.

Your existence is Incompatible with the 'Aspects of the Concepts of Time and Destruction'.

Your 'Blessing of Destruction' repels the 'Aspects of the Concepts of Time and Destruction'.

'BoD did what?'

That last notification caught Evan completely off guard, and almost immediately after it appeared, the two radiant clusters of energy shifted their light toward Jamie.

While they began assessing Jamie's compatibility, Evan's vision filled with another stream of notifications.

You have obtained a vast amount of EXP

There is no further need to Prove Qualifications.

'If killing a planet isn't enough to make me Transcendent, then there's no way any Transcendents should exist in the universe.'

Evan rolled his eyes at the thought, and as he did, more notifications appeared before him.

'Don't touch a damn thing and just check my soul properly.'

A small flame lit up in Evan's eyes as he interrupted the system message, and after a short silence, it returned a response.

Detected Deity-Level Soul.

Deity-Level Souls are permitted to hold such 'Authority'.

Error Resolved.

Evaluating Energy Level…

Energy Core insufficient to power Law Origin Cores.

Evan ignored the Devour Class System's assessment and opened the RHS interface, scrolling through the Archive to verify a few details before giving a command to his soul.

[Re-Apply Third and Fourth Seal Layer.]

For a moment, silence reigned as the Devour Class System's evaluation of his Energy Cores was interrupted by the Vision Seal Prompts.

The System took a moment to update its data as Evan's parameters changed significantly with the reapplication of his seal, and once that process was complete, it resumed its evaluations.

'What now?!'

'Just take the damn EXP already, RHS.'

Evan ordered this with an irritated click of his tongue, and the RHS complied with his will, taking control of the Cached EXP to store it for later Level Ups once he resolved the Sub-Cosmic Attribute issue.

While it worked in the background, Evan turned his gaze toward Arthur, whom the Aspects of the Concepts of Time and Destruction had chosen while he was occupied with the System messages, just in time to see Jamie finish helping Arthur stabilise the immense rush of cosmic energy flooding through him.

"Well, it looks like your energies have calmed down. You good?" Jamie asked.

Arthur tried to get to his feet but stumbled, catching himself by planting Lostvayne into the ground for support.

"Yeah… I think I can stand now."

Hearing that, Jamie lifted his hand from Arthur's back and said, "With the way those damn things went after you, you'd think they had a mind of their own."

Arthur's eyes narrowed slightly, already understanding what Jamie was talking about.

"Those things… they were the Candidate Sigils, weren't they?"

"Yep, those were indeed the Candidate Sigils—refined Aspects of Major Concepts of the Cosmos.

Congratulations, Arthur, you've just joined the Candidate Selection."

At those words, Evan recalled the titles he'd seen on Bewússtsein's status regarding 'Candidacy,' and after a moment's thought, he arrived at a rather obvious conclusion.

'Looks like the EOTD I know doesn't exist yet…'

If they did, there wouldn't be any need for 'Candidates' in the first place.

Evan was curious as to why this was the case, and just as he started piecing the clues he had together to deduce a possible reason, Arthur's loud voice echoed across the entire Core Dimension.

"The fuck you mean congratulations?! Why are you congratulating me for putting myself on Akasha's kill list?!"
