Worldwide Class Change: An Invincible Swordsman

Chapter 264 The Conflict between Jiang Chen and Eleanor_1

Knightly spirit? The Underworld Clan possessed this as well? No wonder only one Spatial Warrior engaged Nate when he flew into the air.

The warrior dodged rapidly, zigzagging left and right at incredible speed as he lunged towards Jiang Chen.

Trying to show off your speed in front of me? Jiang Chen thought.

Just then, countless red tentacles sprouted from the Underworld warrior's back. These tentacles, moving with extreme speed, shot towards Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen dodged left and right, in no hurry to attack. He wanted to see what kind of freaky skills the Underworld Clan truly possessed.

This was the Hunter profession. The Hunter was also an SS Class. Their attacks were very simple: several tentacles emerging from their back. However, this profession didn't exist in the League of Heroes but was found in the Difiled Camp.

At that moment, the tips of the tentacles changed. Jiang Chen sensed a Magic Power Fluctuation as yellow light flared from the tips of the eight tentacles.

They swept towards Jiang Chen like lasers. As Jiang Chen dodged, he knew that even eighty such tentacles wouldn't make him flinch, let alone eight.

While dodging, Jiang Chen quickly drew his sword.

Sword Qi Break!

Ten thousand Sword Auras killed the Underworld warrior, his body exploding into countless pieces.

The Heroes grew even more excited.

"Well done, that's a true warrior!"

"Amazing! Two warriors down, he's invincible!"

"It seems the Underworld Clan also respects knightly spirit."

"I wonder if that Spatial Mage will come down?"

"Who knows? He'd probably die if he did."

One after another, members of the Underworld Clan rushed forward to kill Jiang Chen, only to be swiftly slain by him instead; one sword took down each underling, enraging the Underworld Camp.

"Damn it, who is this guy? He killed ten of our warriors, and even the powerful Amoxi is dead!"

"This guy is so strong!"

"How is his Strength even more terrifying than that of our Underworld Clan?"

"This guy is fearless. Who could possibly restrain him?"

"Hey, what is he doing?"

"He's taunting us, that damn human!"

Jiang Chen stood on the ground, took a cigarette from his pocket, and lit it silently. Then, extending his right hand, he crooked a finger at the Underworld Clan members. This was a provocation aimed at the entire Underworld Camp.

Eleanor laughed. This guy is indeed strong. So this is a Swordsman, a profession introduced by The Fallen. I must recruit him. Eleanor could almost envision Jiang Chen kneeling at her feet.

The Underworld Clan's Spatial Mage also recognized Jiang Chen's strength and didn't dare to descend and face him directly.

Although he could redirect attacks, Jiang Chen's Offensive Power was incredibly fast, almost too fast for the naked eye to follow—this was the only thing he truly feared. Still, faced with such a powerful opponent like Jiang Chen, he had no choice but to descend and engage. As a member of the Underworld Clan, he had never known fear.

"Mage Aya, only you can defeat him!"

"His Offensive Power is formidable, but your skills can redirect his damage to their Alliance!"

"Only you can kill him!"

"Mage Aya, please take action and eliminate this guy!"

Aya extended his left hand, from which a mirror of light materialized. His right hand gripped a war blade.

Jiang Chen watched Aya's movements. He now understood the Spatial Warrior's abilities; Aya was preparing to make his move, intending to use Spatial Stage to launch an attack against him.

Aya then slashed at the light mirror with his blade. The entire broad blade vanished into it.

Jiang Chen sensed a Spatial Fluctuation behind him. He sidestepped just as a gleaming broad blade burst from a rift, aiming for a killing blow. Jiang Chen, however, kept his gaze fixed on Mage Aya above.

Aya's brow furrowed. This man's Perception is incredible! To sense an attack from behind and even pinpoint its origin...

Aya said, "Li Suo, I'll create a spatial opening; you attack him."

"Alright."

Aya raised his right hand towards the sky, and a mirror materialized high above. Li Suo extended his right hand, launching an attack at Jiang Chen from within this mirror.

Jiang Chen looked up, clearly seeing a hand emerge from the sky. The arm gathered black energy, which coalesced into a small sphere. That small orb spun ceaselessly, emitting beams of black light as it rotated. These beams, moving at incredible speed, shot towards Jiang Chen, causing explosions wherever they struck the ground. A moment's inattention, and one could be enveloped by the black beams.

Jiang Chen sensed that the offensive power of these black beams was immense.

While dodging, he swiftly drew his sword and slashed towards the hand in the sky. Sword Blade - Storm! At that instant, the Blade Storm penetrated the light mirror and materialized around Li Suo.

A thousand Sword Auras instantly penetrated Li Suo, tearing his body to pieces.

Aya's face darkened. He had never imagined an attack could connect from such a great distance. Wasn't he a Melee Class? When did he become a Long-ranged Class?

Jiang Chen pondered. The Sword Qi could pass through, but could a person? If a human body could pass through as easily, then there would be no need to fear the Barrier. However, the thought had barely formed when Jiang Chen dismissed the idea of charging through. What if the Spatial Mage closed the rift? Wouldn't he be trapped in a Different World forever? Without a 100% guarantee, Jiang Chen wouldn't take such a risk.

Jiang Chen then charged towards the towering city walls. One Sword strike landed on the Barrier, but the mighty structure remained unmoved. The Underworld Clan members atop the walls launched relentless attacks at Jiang Chen. He maneuvered swiftly, and their attacks landed harmlessly beside him, missing without warning.

Jiang Chen continued to hack away, intending to shatter the Barrier by himself.

Arno instructed, "Long-ranged Classes, provide immediate support to Jiang Chen! Help shatter the Barrier!"

Eleanor said coolly, "No rush. Let him try to break the Barrier first."

Arno couldn't believe it. "What?"

"Let him try to break the Barrier by himself," Eleanor repeated.

How could one person break the Barrier? Did she think he was an omnipotent God? Arno thought.

"Divine Lady, this opportunity must not be missed! It won't come again! Now is the best time to force our way through the Barrier. Attacking is the best strategy while the enemy is terrified. Once the Barrier falls, we can take this town!" Arno urged.

"What's your hurry?" Eleanor replied dismissively.

Arno sighed. This woman had no grasp of tactical timing. Such a golden opportunity, wasted just like that.

Jiang Chen glanced back, saw Arno hadn't moved, and promptly retreated.

Damn it! he fumed internally. I'm fighting my guts out alone while you all just watch the show? Forget it, I'm done! Let whoever wants to go up, go! To hell with your Divine Lady!

Eleanor asked, puzzled, "Why are you back?"

"I'm tired. Came back for a rest," Jiang Chen said.

"The Barrier is about to break! To miss such an opportunity…" Eleanor began.

"What the hell does that have to do with me? It's not like I'm the only one fighting this war! If you want to break the Barrier, go do it yourself!" Jiang Chen retorted impatiently.

Eleanor was livid. "You…"

"'You' what? Don't think that just because you're a Goddess, I'll obey your commands. If you want me to listen to you, you've still got a long way to go!"

A [Cataclysm]-rank expert shouted angrily, "Insolent!"

Jiang Chen drew his sword and, with a single slash, severed the man's arm. The [Cataclysm] expert never imagined Jiang Chen would actually dare to attack.

Now, Eleanor was truly furious. "What do you think you're doing?"

"He intended to kill me, so I struck. What about it, Eleanor? Do you dare to make a move?" Jiang Chen asked, completely unafraid.

So what if she's a Goddess? It's not like Jiang Chen hasn't encountered a Divine Child before. This woman bosses him around just because of her status as a Goddess, but Jiang Chen wasn't going to indulge her. She really thinks she's a God.

Magic Thunder Fire gathered in Eleanor's right hand, the elemental flames crackling violently. Jiang Chen's face darkened as he drew his longsword. The tension between them was palpable, like a drawn bow, as the remaining [Cataclysm] experts surrounded Jiang Chen.
