Chapter 204: Apostle Seed_3

She understood the outline of the entire plan.

Mr. Holy Disc used Oliver and Cynthia to attract the school's attention, directing everyone's focus to these two Awakened.

Meanwhile, he could operate in the shadows, seeking opportunities to get close to the real target—Ron Ralph.

His body suddenly began to move quickly, attempting to bypass Lady Allen and escape deep into the altar.

But the pink-haired Witch only slightly raised her hand, and an energy wave enveloped the entire room.

The energy wave looked innocuous, with no brilliant light effects, no deafening sounds, and without even disturbing the dust in the air.

Yet such a simple action rendered Mr. Holy Disc's massive body immobilized instantly.

"I am Awakened! The power of the Abyss shelters me!"

He roared, as a purple-black energy barrier appeared on the surface of his body, trying to escape the restraints.

Lady Allen shook her head, a hint of regret flashing in her eyes: "Even an Awakened is nothing in the face of overwhelming power."

She raised her hand again, this time only lightly clenching it.

Mr. Holy Disc's energy barrier instantly shattered, and his massive body was tightly bound by an invisible force, unable to move.

"The Abyss does indeed bestow power upon its followers, but it also devours their reason and soul."

Lady Allen walked closer: "Now, tell me everything about the 'Eye of the Abyss,' your base, personnel composition, targets..."

When it came to critical information, Mr. Holy Disc showed intense resistance, even unconsciously under the influence of a magic potion's vapors.

Despair briefly flashed in his eyes but was quickly replaced by a certain madness.

"You'll never get any information from me! The master will protect his loyal servants!"

His body suddenly began to swell violently, with countless small cracks appearing on the surface of his skin, oozing purple-black energy.

"Damn, it seems I asked too hastily, I should've guided it out gradually as before."

Lady Allen instantly sensed danger, quickly retreated while constructing a powerful protective barrier.

"Self-destruct..." her eyes flashed cold: "This is the fate of the Awakened, eventually discarded by others."

Boom!

A loud explosion, Mr. Holy Disc's body exploded in purple-black light, and the intense shockwave swept through the entire room.

Crystal columns broke, the ground cracked, the entire space shook violently.

Yet Lady Allen's protective barrier remained firm, isolating all impacts outside.

When everything calmed down, all that was left in the center of the room was a puddle of indescribable black liquid, continually writhing and slowly evaporating.

Lady Allen frowned as she looked at the residue, a hint of worry rising in her heart.

"Eye of the Abyss..." she whispered: "What exactly is this organization planning?"

She didn't linger but quickly sensed changes in other energy fluctuations.

Soon, she detected that the scarlet-gold energy fluctuations had disappeared, and Ron's presence had become more powerful and stable.

"Looks like the child has completed the trial." Lady Allen smiled slightly and moved towards Ron's location.

.........

Ron stood in the center of the crystal platform, quietly feeling the new power bestowed upon him by the Bloodline Altar.

With the completion of the bloodline enhancement, he was completely renewed.

His presence more concentrated, body more resilient, spiritual power more stable, every aspect had undergone a qualitative improvement.

Just as he was about to leave, a strong and familiar presence approached him.

Ron was slightly surprised, then showed a hint of surprise: "Madam?"

A gentle footstep approached, and soon the beautiful pink-haired, jade-eyed Witch appeared in his view.

"Long time no see, Ron." Lady Allen said with a smile, her voice softer and more pleasant than usual.

"...Long time no see... To meet you here is indeed beyond my expectations."

Ron was somewhat puzzled, as the scene before him clearly exceeded his expectations.

Due to the powerful magic power constantly emanating from the other person, he did not suspect this was some sort of illusion.

"How did you enter the Bloodline Altar? I remember Official Wizards couldn't enter here." He asked, his tone calming.

Lady Allen smiled slightly: "The reason is rather... special, it's a long story, I'll tell you slowly some other time."

She glanced around and noticed the mess at the center pit: "Looks like you successfully dealt with that duplicate."

Ron nodded: "Yes, it was stronger than I imagined, but it was ultimately defeated."

"As expected of my student." Lady Allen nodded approvingly:

"I can sense your bloodline has been significantly enhanced, which should be a major milestone for you."

Ron felt the newly formed power within him, and indeed it was so, but he had other questions.

"Just now I sensed a powerful energy wave. Were you engaged with someone?"

Lady Allen's expression became serious: "It was an intruder, an Awakened calling himself 'Mr. Holy Disc.'

"Mr. Holy Disc? Is he the one Oliver mentioned?" Ron furrowed his brow.

"Indeed, this is the terrifying aspect of the 'Eye of the Abyss,' there have always been 'Disguisers' in the Remote School, commonly playing the role of masters, secretly nurturing candidates like Oliver for Black Wizards."

Lady Allen explained:

"Furthermore, Mr. Holy Disc's goal seemed to be to use the power of the Bloodline Altar for some kind of ritual, and you were an important part of his plan."

"Me? Why me?" Ron was somewhat puzzled.

The pink-haired Witch gave him a meaningful glance:

"He mentioned your soul... Unusual. It seems that some of your characteristics have caught the attention of 'Eye of the Abyss.'

Ron's heart skipped a beat.

Lady Allen's words seemed to hint that she had noticed something.

Whether it was the special talent of "Dual Soul" or the existence of the profession panel, they were Ron's most secret secrets.

"It's a pity that Awakened chose to self-destruct, I couldn't extract more information."

Lady Allen shifted the topic: "However, the priority now is to have you leave here quickly. The environment within the altar has started to become unstable, not suitable for a long stay."

Ron nodded, indeed it was unnecessary to linger here.

"Oh, Ron, there's one more thing I need to tell you," Lady Allen suddenly said: "About the Crystal Tower and your future."

Ron raised an eyebrow, indicating he was listening intently.

"Valen and the Crystal Tower behind him are very interested in your talent," Lady Allen said directly:

"They may try to bind you within the Crystal Tower system through a 'Soul Contract.'

"Soul Contract?" Ron had already anticipated it but still frowned upon the confirmation.

"Yes, a very stringent contract form, once signed, your actions will be strictly limited, with the Crystal Tower's interests taking precedence."

Lady Allen's eyes flashed a hint of coldness:

"I have reached an agreement with Valen, and he promised not to force you to sign the contract, but this doesn't mean they will give up recruiting you."

Ron pondered for a moment: "I understand, thank you for telling me this in advance, it's very important to me."
