Chapter 560: The Black Girl Mu Ya!

Dawn broke as the night faded away!

About a hundred miles northeast of Lusaka, a figure moved slowly forward.

Ye Feng carried Ye Mei on his back and took a taxi out of Lusaka overnight. Regrettably, the taxi driver wasn't willing to go too far and merely told them that there was a small tribe ahead before dropping them off and leaving!

Ye Feng didn't mind at all; as long as he left Lusaka, he had a way to get to the East Africa Rift Valley!

In Lusaka, he had killed so many members of the Wolf Head Gang, and with the death of Ji Ming from the Fuqing Gang, although he wasn't afraid, being tangled up with Lusaka's police and the Fuqing Gang would definitely delay him for a long time. Leaving was the wise choice!

Ye Mei had recovered quite a bit by now, but her body was still weak and limp.

"Ye Feng, why didn't you..." Ye Mei felt the warmth from Ye Feng's back; her pretty face was still somewhat blushing, but at this moment, she hesitated to speak.

Ye Feng smiled, naturally understanding Ye Mei's unspoken question:"Are you wondering why I didn't ask the Wolf Head Gang for an antidote?"

Upon hearing that Ye Feng understood her, Ye Mei nodded her head. Indeed, she was very puzzled since Ye Feng had not mentioned this matter at all during their journey.

Ye Feng laughed, "The 'drug' you've been afflicted with is quite special; or rather, it isn't really a 'drug' but a kind of flower fragrance!"

"Flower fragrance?"

Ye Mei was startled, not understanding how a fragrance could render her completely unaware and utterly powerless!

"It's called the Enchanting Flower Fragrance of Africa. It's colorless and odorless, but once a living being approaches this flower, it releases a gas that causes the creature to faint without realizing it. Many of the bizarre places in Africa exist because of the Enchanting Flower. However, when combined with the pollen, the resulting Soul-binding medicine is even more potent and there's simply no antidote for it!"

"No antidote? Then I..."

Ye Mei's pretty face turned pale. Being powerless in dangerous Africa was an extremely fatal situation.

"Don't worry, I can use acupuncture to force the drug's effects out of your body!"

Ye Feng said calmly, as he had previously kissed Ye Mei to transfer his own unique energy into her body, preventing the gas from seeping into her heart.

There might not be an antidote to the Enchanting Flower Fragrance, but that didn't mean he had no solution!

Hearing Ye Feng's words, Ye Mei finally relaxed, laying her head against Ye Feng's back and inhaling his faint masculine scent, becoming somewhat intoxicated!

Just as the two of them had passed through a dense forest, they suddenly heard the howling of wild beasts, accompanied by a sharp cry for help!

"Help! Help me!!!"

This voice belonged to a woman, filled with panic and despair.

Ye Feng and Ye Mei both paused before Ye Feng, with Ye Mei on his back, quickly ran towards the source of the sound!

About thirty meters ahead of them in the grass, there were three hyenas continuously screeching and circling. In the middle of them, a young black girl was surrounded; she was waving a scythe vigorously, preventing the hyenas from getting close.

"Wu wu..."

The hyenas bared their fangs, drool dripping continuously, their greenish glare extremely frightening!

"Help!!!"

The black girl was wearing a torn, oversized garment and was now sweating profusely. Next to her lay a medicine basket filled with various herbs.

As Ye Feng, with Ye Mei on his back, approached, the young girl was overjoyed and cried out for help to the two of them!

The three hyenas also noticed the new arrivals. Instead of panicking, their eyes flared with intense excitement and ferocity!

It has to be said, the hyenas indeed were one of the most formidable creatures on the African Continent, with packs of hyenas even capable of killing male lions!

"Whimper..."

Upon seeing Ye Feng and another, one of the hyenas fixed its gaze on the black girl, while the other two let out a fierce roar and charged straight at Ye Feng and Ye Mei!

A rancid wind hit them, the putrid stench enough to make one vomit, and Ye Feng's eyes flashed coldly as he swiftly kicked two pebbles into flight.

Whoosh whoosh!

The sound of the wind being split rang out as those two pebbles immediately pierced through the heads of the hyenas.

Thud thud!

The bodies of the two hyenas didn't even have a chance to scream before they dropped heavily from mid-air.

The other hyena, startled, tucked its tail and attempted to flee, but just as it made two steps, another pebble flew past, instantly piercing through its body!

Whimper...

This hyena collapsed in an instant, crying out miserably a few times before its breath ceased as well.

Seeing this scene, the black girl was both terrified and excited, her eyes filled with curiosity as she looked at Ye Feng and his companion, yet she seemed too frightened to approach.

Ye Feng knew from the girl's appearance that she was from a small tribe and had likely never seen outsiders before. He smiled and asked in English,

"Do you belong to a nearby tribe?"

Hearing Ye Feng's fluent English and seeing his gentle demeanor, the black girl finally let go of her worries, and a smile of relief after surviving a calamity bloomed on her dark shining face:

"I am Mu Ya from the Gerba Tribe, distant guests, thank you for saving me!"

Mu Ya's English was somewhat stiff, and it carried a hint of tribal accent, but Ye Feng could understand her clearly.

"My name is Ye Feng, and she is Ye Mei!"

"Hello, Ye! Mei! Thank you for saving me. I'd like to invite you to visit my tribe, my grandfather will certainly express his gratitude!"

Mu Ya seemed to have a kind nature, her pretty face now full of gratitude. But when she noticed Ye Mei's somewhat pale face, she looked surprised:

"Ye, is Mei hurt?"

"She's sick!"

Ye Feng knew that these Africans found it difficult to use full names, often replacing them with the surname, and he wasn't bothered by it.

"Don't worry, my grandfather is the witch doctor of our tribe, he will surely have a way to heal Mei! Come with me!"

Mu Ya now shouldered her medicine basket, holding a scythe, and after glancing at the bodies of the three hyenas on the ground, a hint of hesitation flashed across her face.

Ye Feng naturally saw what Mu Ya was thinking and smilingly said:

"If you need them, you can take them along!"

"Really? But... these are wild beasts you hunted, Ye, they should belong to you!"

Mu Ya was surprised yet understood propriety very well; she knew that it was Ye Feng who had killed the hyenas and she didn't feel right to claim them.

Ye Feng shook his head: "Take them, your tribe might need them!"

In Africa, there are countless small tribes, each extremely impoverished and many people suffering from hunger with very primitive medical conditions. These three hyenas might not mean much to someone from a big city, but to a small tribe, they could save several lives!

Hearing Ye Feng's words, Mu Ya's face showed even deeper gratitude. She quickly lifted one of the hyenas and rushed ahead. Not far in front of them, there was a wooden cart filled with various herbs.
