Don't Mess with That Dragon

Chapter 300 Mysterious Person (First Update - Request for Subscription)

Dragon Nest Tribe City.

Since the day I emerged from the Divine Kingdom and witnessed the demise of a divine realm with my own eyes, several days have passed.

Inside the Dragon's Nest, Austin is summarizing and sorting out some of the events that occurred earlier.

Once, a Divine fell nearby,

which made Austin feel horrified.

No matter what happened back then, once the news of a fallen Divine's realm leaks out, countless Adventurers will surely swarm to the area.

The nearby region will certainly be turned upside down by numerous visitors.

And my secrets might be completely exposed to countless gazes.

Fortunately, things aren't as bad yet.

After some investigations and interrogations.

According to the native Beastmen living near the Volcanic Cluster Domain, the volcanic region has existed there for a long time.

Maybe a few hundred years, maybe a few thousand years, or perhaps tens of thousands of years.

No one knows when that area formed, only that it has always been there for a long, long time.

Among the various bizarre terrains within the Kawa Great Forest, the entire Volcanic Cluster Domain isn't conspicuous amidst the vast Forest Land of millions of square kilometers.

A Divine Kingdom falling from the Starry Sky, if not near the final collapse stage, would hardly form a breach in the weak parts of space.

Even a Legendary would probably not discover a Divine Kingdom wedged in a spatial rift.

Otherwise, if a Divine Kingdom couldn't hide itself, countless Divine would have been defied and conquered long ago.

This suggests that the Divine Kingdom beneath the Volcanic Cluster Domain likely hasn't been discovered.

If undiscovered, everything remains fine.

Moreover, according to those native tribes, those Fire Elementals only appeared in the Volcanic Cluster Domain in recent years.

Also, unless a powerful creature capable of influencing them enters, those Fire Elemental creatures usually stay beneath the magma layer, hidden and not coming out.

This information is crucial.

This means that Austin might be the first to discover the anomaly in the Volcanic Cluster Domain.

The native Beastmen near the Volcanic Cluster Domain didn't see any Extraordinary Beastmen; they probably wouldn't venture into that newly dangerous area, nor contemplate the peculiarity of Fire Elementals appearing there.

Beastmen living at the base level on the Kawa Great Forest, struggling between life and death their entire lives, wouldn't know what those Fire Elemental creatures are even if they saw them.

Combining all the information, a rather definite result can be obtained: the matter of the Divine Kingdom's exposure that Austin worries about is basically unnecessary to fret over.

For the time being, this vicinity remains safe and secretive.

I can still hang in there for a while.

"However, a few years ago..."

Austin pondered, silent without knowing what he was thinking.

During this period, something seems off.

It appears that the source of all the chaos in the Forest Land caused by the undead apocalypse in the Kawa Great Forest happened just a few years ago.

Moreover...

In thought, Austin casually took out two crystals and observed them closely before his eyes.

Overall, they are crystal clear, their composition unknown.

Focusing his gaze for a closer look, he would faintly hear chants in the void between existence, possessing a sort of hypnotic power, as if the Divine Soul itself were being absorbed.

The two crystals contain a power Austin cannot comprehend.

And this power seems to be of the same origin!

The difference is that the one on the left, crystal-clear, contains no impurities, exceedingly pure.

When gazing at it, the sound entering one's ears is like being in a cathedral with sacred hymns being sung, filled with holy radiance.

Whereas in the one on the right, darkness subtly flickers at its core, and the sacred chanting in the ear carries an eerie feeling, as if countless twisted souls were praying and praising the Lord.

"What exactly are these things..."

The one on the left is what Austin obtained from the Divine Kingdom, the last power left by the remnant soul of the old priest to maintain the existence of the Divine Kingdom.

The one on the right, however, was obtained after Austin's team obliterated the Zombie Undead Nest, using a super invincible world-destroying compressed wind-water-thunder Rasengan to annihilate that enormous Pyramid.

The two crystals, while similar, are vastly different.

But regardless, Austin instinctively senses a definite connection between the two!

"The Epic Remnant Soul mentioned that the most important thing inside the Divine Kingdom had already been taken away. Who could that person be? And what did they take? Is the undead apocalypse sweeping through the entire Kawa Great Forest related to that mysterious person who took away the most important thing from the Divine Kingdom?"

Austin believes that the undead apocalypse is very likely directly related to the person who took the crucial thing from the Divine Kingdom.

Otherwise, why would the crystal obtained from the remnant soul of the old priest be so similar to the one obtained after destroying the Pyramid?

It gives him a feeling of being from the same source.

These two crystals are very likely to originate from the Divine Power Crystal of the same Divinity.

Meaning the owner of that Divine Kingdom, the Divine who fell for unknown reasons.

Linking multiple storylines, some inferences involuntarily arise in his heart.

Many years ago, an unknown Divine fell, and the Divine Kingdom high above the starry sky crashed onto the Prime Material Plane.

The Divine Kingdom that drifted in the void's crevices ultimately fell beneath the Volcanic Cluster Domain in the Kawa Great Forest.

Among the heroes in the Divine Kingdom, some couldn't bear the Divine's death, ultimately falling and becoming Divine Wraiths.

Afterwards, likely, a great battle occurred within the Divine Kingdom after the Divine's demise.

A battle between those heroes who could maintain their sanity and the Divine Wraiths.

Eventually, within the entire Divine Kingdom, only an Epic-level old priest remained, along with a few Divine Wraiths.

Presumably, this is also why Austin did not encounter any other powerful Divine Wraiths in the Divine Kingdom.

Those powerful Divine Wraiths likely had been directly slain in the fierce war.

And the old priest, whose wick was burned out, could no longer purge the remaining Divine Wraiths, only stay in the Divine Hall repenting.

After that, who knows how many years passed.

A mysterious figure entered the Divine Hall and took away the most crucial thing maintaining the Divine Kingdom's operation.

And that figure must have a close-knit relationship with the fallen Divine.

Otherwise, they would never know the location where the Divine Kingdom fell and could enter it at will.

Perhaps at the last moment, as the Divine Kingdom's final Tomb Guardian, the old priest didn't even have a chance to stop them.

"The Lord abandoned us..."

Recalling the old priest's words, and all the somewhat strange actions the old priest took later.

Austin vaguely seemed to understand something.

However, the speculation was too shocking; Austin could only press it down in his heart.

"It is probably that mysterious figure who took the thing maintaining the Divine Kingdom, leading to the Divine Kingdom's contact with the Prime Material Plane amid its collapse, causing the escape of the Fire Elemental Lord and the Fire Elemental Race."

The front and rear connections all tied together at this moment.

And that mysterious figure is very likely the culprit of all the chaos in the Kawa Great Forest in recent years.

They might be people from the Beastman Royal Court.

Or perhaps that figure cooperated with pure-blooded Beastmen from the Beastman Royal Court, sparking this great calamity sweeping through the Kawa Great Forest, even though the pure-blooded Beastmen didn't know their identity.

The ultimate truth, perhaps only the Beastman Royal Court at the core collapsed area might possibly know.

However, Austin instinctively felt it was likely more of the latter.
