Urban's Fury: The War Dragon God

Chapter 1094: Mandala Fragrance

Plop, plop.

The electric baton crackled with electricity as Shi Yun and her assistant exchanged glances in the office.

The next second.

Shi Yun raised her hands, "Alright, I surrender."

The female assistant also raised her hands, seeming ready to be captured.

The Dragon Guards squinted at the decisive Shi Yun, then nodded, prompting several bodyguards to pounce like wolves and tigers.

However, before the bodyguards could reach Shi Yun, she moved with the elegance of a femme fatale, striking out at the closest bodyguard.

The bodyguards weren't simple street thugs distracted by beauty; they were already on guard against Shi Yun's sudden attack.

The attacked bodyguard raised an arm to block, deflecting Shi Yun's right hook, sneering coldly.

But the next second, Shi Yun exhaled lightly towards the bodyguard.

A faint fragrance wafted over, and as the bodyguard smelled it, his mind immediately became a bit muddled.

Seizing the moment, Shi Yun elbowed the bodyguard in the throat while crashing her body against his, knocking him away.

In the next second, Shi Yun shrugged off her red leather jacket, grabbing it in mid-air to whisk around, releasing a strong mandala fragrance.

In the scorching July of Huacheng, with no breeze at all, the mandala fragrance spread with the swish of her jacket towards the Dragon Guards and others.

The Dragon Guards immediately sensed something strange, "Hold your breath."

The Dragon Guards' reaction was swift, but the bodyguards behind them were a beat slower. The mandala fragrance was irresistibly enticing, making them want to inhale more.

"Hmph, too late."

Shi Yun snorted, striding towards the bewildered bodyguards. The Dragon Guards shook his head hard, trying to clear his mind, but when he looked at Shi Yun, she appeared like a goddess descended from heaven.

The mandala fragrance has hallucinogenic properties; even a small amount can make the brain feel like it's consumed several bottles of liquor, causing double vision.

"Damn it."

Though the Dragon Guards inhaled very little, his mind was still hazy. As Shi Yun approached, he swung a fist at her.

Shi Yun easily dodged, tripping the Dragon Guards up to make him fall face-first. She held back; the mandala fragrance may cause hallucinations, but sharp pain can bring clarity.

Killing would be enjoyable in the moment, but she had no time to eliminate all these bodyguards. The plan was compromised, and who knew if others were alerted.

"Take him out, let's go."

"Yes, Miss."

The female Assassin stepped forward, swiftly ending the incapacitated male Assassin, who was paralyzed by electricity and couldn't leave with them, snapping his neck before the two women slipped past the drunkenly swaying bodyguards, quickly disappearing.

"Miss, our plan has been exposed. They deliberately opened the window, clearly to lure us."

Shi Yun gritted her teeth, "Damn, where did it go wrong? Wang Xi might have betrayed us."

"Contact Mother, inform her of the mission's failure. They've been aware of us; we were set up."

"Execute emergency exit plan number three."

"Yes, Miss."

Meanwhile, in the office, the Dragon Guards bit his lip hard, the pain snapping him back to reality. He turned to see his bodyguards stumbling like drunks.

"Young Master, Shi Yun got away, but I will bring her back."

The Dragon Guards felt humiliated, turned, and slapped the bodyguards awake.

"They've escaped, follow me."

At this moment, Li Feng had already left the car, heading towards the building where Starbucks is located.

"Oh, Shi Yun escaped?"

"I see."

Wang Xi turned to Li Feng, "Did you let Shi Yun escape?"

"You seemed to have expected it?"

Li Feng turned to Wang Xi, who snorted, "Shi Yun is after all one of the Twelve Tones; I'm not surprised she got away. You better tell your people to be careful."

"She's more than just a pretty face."

Li Feng didn't continue the topic; his Dragon Guards were not just for show. Capturing Shi Yun was his subordinates' task; his target was Dark Butterfly and Lin Changsheng.

Starbucks Cafe.

"Do you think your mother and Lin Changsheng will choose to leave or stay put waiting for us?"

Wang Xi snorted through her elegant nose, "I don't know."

"How about a bet!"

Li Feng looked at Wang Xi.

"A bet? I've nothing to bet with you." Wang Xi said.

"How not, if I make peace with Lin Changsheng, you'll become a pawn. The cost of betrayal is heavy."

"Would you reconcile?"

Wang Xi glared at Li Feng.

"Why not? Maybe our interests don't conflict. In the face of interests, the distinction between friends and enemies isn't strict. Besides, I didn't harm his son Lin Wanzhou, just invited him over for a few days."

"What do you want to bet on?"

"I bet they're still there. As for the wager, I want you."

Li Feng squinted.

Wang Xi bit her teeth, "You already had my body."

"I want your heart."

Li Feng said.

Wang Xi paused slightly, "Hah, you want a lot, fine, if you win, I don't mind."

Wang Xi flicked her wavy hair, smiling with endless charm, making hearts flutter.

Li Feng seemed unfazed, striding into the cafe, "Deal."

Wang Xi watched Li Feng stride confidently into the cafe, "This scoundrel, what is he thinking?"

She wouldn't think he was completely infatuated after just one night, his eyes don't lie.

Maybe he admired her beauty, but he wasn't bewitched. From prior interactions, Li Feng thinks several steps ahead, acting unpredictably.

His motive?

Could it be the entire Dark Butterfly?

Wang Xi's eyes flickered.

Li Feng had no idea Wang Xi's thoughts raced. Entering the cafe, his gaze scanned quickly, finding his target in a booth by the window.

The woman was an elegant beauty, with a noble air in her every move. Even from the side, she was stunningly beautiful, with a graceful figure.

Tsk, a truly exquisite beauty.

"Mother."

Wang Xi hadn't expected her mother to actually be there, but realized her mother might have sensed something when she called yet chose not to leave.

If she didn't leave, it meant the game wasn't over.

"Li Feng."

"Indeed, heroes have been young since ancient times, Li Feng, you have made Changsheng and me take a different view."

Lin Changsheng?

Li Feng and Wang Xi looked at the other side of the booth.
