Ye Chen sat alone, eating a meal meant for couples, as the sisters got hooked on their drinking binge, ignoring him completely as they focused on toppling each other.

Unexpectedly, the drinking duel ended with Qin Ying collapsing first!

Qin Ying, a Qingyun elite, highly skilled and always revered, was defeated by Qin Lan—the martial arts master had toppled the Qingyun champion!

"Ye Chen, I love you!" Qin Lan approached Ye Chen with a flushed face and declared.

"I love you too!" Ye Chen said.

"Then why have you been ignoring me?" Qin Lan asked.

"Because you're too pretentious, and it's wearing my patience thin!" Ye Chen said. "If you want to be with me, just boldly accept me. I don't like your pretentiousness!"

"I see!" Qin Lan paused for a few seconds, then closed her eyes and fainted.

"Silly woman!" Ye Chen couldn't help but smile wryly.

Qin Lan had drunk more than Qin Ying, and by all accounts should have collapsed earlier, but her fixation kept her going until she had made Qin Ying falter and asked Ye Chen that question.

Ye Chen knew that without clearing her doubts, Qin Lan might fall into despair, hence the dialogue above.

"Damn it, I paid for your meal just to have some company... and now you're all passed out. Who's here for me now?" Ye Chen looked at the completely intoxicated sisters, feeling utterly frustrated.
