Extraordinary Demon King Soldier

Chapter 110: How to Inhale

"What do we do now?"

As they retreated to the beach, everyone couldn't help but ask Ye Qiu.

Ye Qiu looked up at the sky and said, "There are at most four or five hours left before it gets dark. We don't know if it'll rain tonight, so I suggest you build a simple shelter first. If it rains, we'll have to endure it exposed to the elements."

"That's right, if it rains, we won't be able to sleep, and if we get sick from getting wet, it'll be even more troublesome."

"Let's start building a shelter now!"

Ye Qiu's suggestion received unanimous approval from the crowd.

For a while, the beach became a hive of activity. However, these people were almost all amateurs at outdoor living, and after a bout of fumbling, they hadn't even constructed a framework, let alone a house.

Feeling helpless, Ye Qiu had to step in and give some pointers.

"The ocean wind is quite strong, so your shelter needs to be sturdy. Avoid choosing locations with damp soil; it's best to select dry ground."

Under Ye Qiu's guidance, everyone quickly got into the swing of things. Some chose suitable locations for the shelter, and then, under Ye Qiu's direction, they used branches to build supports and the island's large leaves to create the roof.

They also used those large leaves to set up makeshift windbreak walls on the sea-facing side, laying leaves on the ground to prevent dampness.

Luckily, there were plenty of vines on the island to replace ropes, so they didn't have to worry about the shelter's lack of sturdiness.

By the time everyone's shelters were finished, night had fallen.

"Not bad, I didn't expect to learn how to build a shelter too."

"Haha, this island villa is absolutely explosive in its perfection!"

"Hah! Your flimsy shelter doesn't look as good as mine!"

With shelter now built, everyone's repressed emotions were alleviated. Looking at these homes they constructed themselves, they felt a sense of pride.

Many were the carefree type, having never experienced such an adventure in the wilderness before, they were a bit excited too.

Maybe someday, once they leave here, they'll recall how they knew nothing at first but gradually learned to survive independently outdoors thanks to Ye Qiu's guidance.

"We've been exhausted all day, let's get some good rest. We don't know when we'll be able to leave here, so maintaining good physical strength is very necessary," Ye Qiu said to Sha Beibei and Mia'er.

"Okay."

Ye Qiu was not only the backbone for this group but also a pillar for Sha Beibei and Mia'er. To them, there was no problem that couldn't be solved as long as Ye Qiu was around.

For this reason, the two girls chose not to stay with others but instead built a shelter just for the three of them with Ye Qiu.

"I need to pee," said Mia'er, standing up and walking out.

"Be careful. It's dark out, there's no light, and don't wander too far, since the jungle is dangerous at night," Ye Qiu warned.

"Alright!"

"Ye Qiu, what do you do for a living? How come you know so much? You're amazing at everything!"

After Mia'er left, Sha Beibei couldn't help but ask this question.

To her, Ye Qiu seemed godlike—catching fish barehanded in the ocean during the day, killing a giant tiger with his bare hands, and having such rich wilderness survival skills. To her, Ye Qiu was the epitome of versatility.

"I used to be in the military, so I'm used to this kind of outdoor living," Ye Qiu said with a smile, not offering much further explanation.

"Oh."

Sha Beibei wasn't from that background; hearing Ye Qiu's explanation, she just nodded and didn't pursue the question further.

"Ah..."

At that moment, a startled cry reached Ye Qiu's ears.

"Swish!"

Ye Qiu immediately stood up. The sound wasn't loud, maybe others didn't hear it, but with his sharp hearing, he clearly recognized the voice as Mia'er's.

"What's wrong?" Sha Beibei quickly asked upon seeing Ye Qiu suddenly stand up.

"It's nothing. I'll go take a look. You stay here and don't move around." Ye Qiu didn't want Sha Beibei to worry, as he didn't know Mia'er's situation yet.

"Okay." Sha Beibei didn't think much of it, nodded, and continued to lie down.

After leaving the shelter, Ye Qiu rushed like a rocket in the direction where Mia'er's voice had come from.

In no time, Ye Qiu found Mia'er in the darkness, her face filled with pain.

"What happened?" Ye Qiu immediately went over to ask.

"I... I think something bit me." Perhaps bitten painfully, Mia'er hadn't even had time to put her pants back on.

Naturally, Ye Qiu's gaze followed her leg, where two small puncture marks oozed blood, mixed with visible traces of black.

"It's a poisonous snake, and it's highly venomous!" Seeing the wound, Ye Qiu's expression changed instantly.

"What?"

The word "venomous" made Mia'er's body tremble immediately. "What should I do? I don't want to die..."

"I'll suck out the poison for you; don't worry!" Ye Qiu quickly comforted Mia'er, disregarding the fact that she was still half-dressed, and immediately began first aid.

Watching Ye Qiu earnestly sucking out the venom, Mia'er felt gratitude mixed with embarrassment.

The actions, the pose—no matter how she looked at it, something felt off...

Fortunately, it was dark here, and no one else was around. Otherwise, people would definitely get the wrong idea!

Thinking of this, Mia'er involuntarily pulled her leg back a bit.

"Ptooey," Ye Qiu spat out a mouthful of venomous blood, saying, "What are you doing? Spread your legs wider, I can't do it if you clench them so tight!"

How can I do it... how can I do it...

These words kept echoing in Mia'er's mind, and she wished she could find a hole to hide in. You're the expert, so you're in charge, but do you have to say it so bluntly? I'm a girl, you know!

Although she felt this way inside, Mia'er still spread her legs a bit more, though her body remained stiff and she dared not look Ye Qiu in the eye.

Seeing Mia'er almost blushing with embarrassment, Ye Qiu shook his head. Despite the incredibly suggestive atmosphere, he hadn't thought anything of it!

Because he saw that Mia'er's wound was already darkening; if he didn't take care of it, the poison would spread through her body, and not even Immortals could save her then.

It seemed Mia'er also realized this, feeling quite scared, so she couldn't help but open her legs even wider...
