Chapter 1007: You May Leave

Having just come back from the brink of life and death, Yi Tian was still trying to figure out what had happened to him when he saw someone hovering in front of him. In that instant, he forgot that he had faced life and death before and even forgot where he was.

"You shouldn't be so impolite." The woman's voice was ethereal and unpredictable, yet there was no change in its tone, as plain as a glass of water.

"When did you start being here?" The woman turned to look at Old Tian and his four companions, her gaze naturally commanding authority.

Old Tian and the others felt as if the woman's gaze was like looking directly at them, yet they couldn't muster any thoughts of resistance, only kneeling there, not daring to lift their heads to look at her face, let alone meet her gaze. It was a feeling of submission from the depths of their hearts, and Old Tian vaguely remembered that everything he had seemed to be granted by this woman before him. So much time had passed that he couldn't remember many things clearly.

Not getting an answer, the woman didn't show any displeasure; her face remained without any change in expression. Just as she was speaking with Old Tian and the others, the burning sensation in Yi Tian's eyes had completely disappeared, though he still felt some discomfort. He rubbed his eyes, trying to diminish the discomfort, but it didn't help much. He could only support himself to sit on the ground. His injuries had not long healed, and his energy was severely depleted, so now Yi Tian had almost no strength to resist.

Raising his head, Yi Tian looked at the woman. This time he didn't dare to rashly investigate the woman's prowess. Earlier, it was merely a natural reaction.

"Who are you?" Yi Tian knew that those capable of creating a Virtual Realm weren't simple people, and they were old monsters who had lived for countless years, so he didn't intend to play any tricks and asked directly. The pressure emanating from the woman didn't make Yi Tian feel any discomfort, as he also practiced Ancient Inheritance, although his strength was somewhat weak, resisting such pressure was not a problem, so he wouldn't be as embarrassed as Old Tian and the others.

Unexpectedly, Yi Tian recovered so quickly, and the woman turned to look at him and said, "My name is Yan Luo, the owner of this place." Her answer was very simple, merely stating her name.

However, Yi Tian didn't pay attention to that. He tried moving a bit, felt he could stand up, then stood and jumped a bit to exercise his limbs. After confirming there were no remaining issues with himself, he looked at Yan Luo and said, "I want to leave here, can you let me go?" Directly without beating around the bush, he didn't want to waste time here. He had been trapped in this weird place for so long that he almost forgot about time.

"You may." Yan Luo didn't stop him nor showed any intention to keep Yi Tian.

"Ah, wait, I have companions here too. Can you bring them over?" Yi Tian now entirely disregarded Yan Luo, an ancient expert.

Yi Tian's carefree speech made Old Tian and the others break into a cold sweat for him. They felt just the pressure from Yan Luo was unbearable, let alone speaking so audaciously to her. Did this guy hit his head when he fell earlier?

However, Yi Tian was unaware of Old Tian and the others' thoughts, nor did he realize anything different in his tone of speaking with Yan Luo. He was also carefree when talking to that nameless old man in the Virtual Realm, and that old guy appreciated it, so he saw no need to pretend to respect the elderly in front of these old monsters. Yet Yi Tian was curious that while the Virtual Realm elder was indeed an old man's image, the woman before him appeared youthful like a girl in her prime; whether she maintained her appearance well or the Virtual Realm elder didn't, he wasn't sure.

Upon hearing Yi Tian's words, Yan Luo gently waved her right hand, and with a flash of blue light, three shadows appeared on the ground, exactly Mol and the two Flame Leopards.

"Are they the ones you meant?" Yan Luo noticed that apart from the five people in front of her, there were only these three creatures in the entire Virtual Realm, so she grabbed them over.

"Yes, that's right." Yi Tian laughed, as Mol and the two Flame Leopards were still sound asleep, completely unaware of what was happening around them. "Can you let us out now?" Yi Tian requested to leave once again.

"You may. But first, answer a question of mine." Yan Luo looked at Yi Tian. This young man was peculiar, clearly practicing Ancient Inheritance yet didn't understand many things from that era, so she had to ask.

"Who is your master?" Yan Luo asked, her tone and expression remained unchanged, or rather, she didn't know any expressions at all.

"I have no master." Yi Tian thought for a moment and answered. The Virtual Realm elder had stated clearly that he wasn't Yi Tian's master, so this was the only response Yi Tian could give.

Yi Tian's almost impolite answer was not surprising to the woman. How could everyone in that era have a master? Some people gained strength by self-comprehension, so Yi Tian's answer did not surprise her. After all, she didn't know how long she had been asleep in this Virtual Realm or what the outside world had become.

Nonetheless, the woman seemed somewhat disappointed by Yi Tian's answer, as her expression slightly changed but swiftly returned to its usual indifference. With a voice so ethereal it was impossible to capture, she said, "I thought I might meet some old acquaintances, but instead, it was a young fellow like you who woke me." She did have a reason to call Yi Tian a young fellow, both in terms of age and strength.

However, as a man, hearing such words was not easy for Yi Tian to swallow, but he also understood that in front of these old monsters capable of creating Virtual Realms, he was just a youngster, both in age and strength. He looked at Yan Luo and asked, "May I leave now?" Despite no malicious intent from her, he was eager to leave. There was so much he needed to do, and ever since being trapped in the Ruined City, he had completely lost contact with the outside world and didn't know what had become of it.

"You may." Yan Luo had no intention of making things difficult for Yi Tian or keeping him; she merely looked at him and continued, "Once you leave, do not mention anything about this place to anyone." She spoke with such seriousness that it created a peculiar illusion.

"What about them?" Yi Tian knew that Old Tian and the others also wanted to leave.

"They cannot leave." Yan Luo's tone did not vary, nor did her expression, yet what she said brooked no dispute. Even the initially wanting to retort Yi Tian suddenly wondered if he should object to her words. As for Old Tian and the others, since Yan Luo emerged from the coffin, they had been kneeling there without daring to move, let alone look her in the eye; from the depths of their hearts, they had a deep-seated fear of her.
