Urban Soldier Young Master

Chapter 472: Challenge Tomorrow

Suddenly noticing the change in Chu Ge's expression, He Junming turned his head to look and couldn't help but laugh along.

He had been hoping for Li Zheming to come and cause trouble, and here this guy was, truly a sight to behold.

He Junming glanced at Chu Ge, and the two exchanged a knowing smile before walking into the Taekwondo gym, waiting to see Li Zheming strut in, only to be kicked out by Da Shan.

He Junming had no doubt about Da Shan's strength; in his mind, Da Shan was almost inhumanly strong. As long as Da Shan made a move, hmph hmph...

Upon entering the gym, He Junming and Chu Ge casually settled into the seats in the resting area. Meanwhile, Da Shan changed into his gear and positioned himself in the arena, ready to use Li Zheming as a punching bag later.

Soon enough, Li Zheming stepped through the gym's main entrance, scanning the place. When he saw Chu Ge, a flash of resentment crossed his eyes, but he didn't say much. He simply followed the rules, took off his shoes, and walked in alone.

This scene startled He Junming a bit. Blinking as he watched Li Zheming's back, he turned his head and said, "Bro, do you think this brat got scared straight by you, and now he's not planning to start anything?"

Chu Ge shook his head, "Probably not. Let's wait and see."

As Li Zheming stepped onto the mat inside the gym, the students who had seen him challenge the gym before all looked his way, with a certain wariness in their eyes. Someone quickly walked over to a coach and briefly explained the previous incident.

"You all don't need to whisper over there. I'm not here to challenge the gym today. Call out your master, I have business with him."

Fixing his gaze on a coach in the arena, Li Zheming sneered loudly. Because he had lived in South Korea for many years, his Mandarin pronunciation was very stiff. Speaking loudly made it particularly noticeable and awkward.

Meeting Li Zheming's gaze, the coach said, "The gym master is not back yet. Whatever you have to say, you can tell me. I'll pass it on to him."

"Tell you? What do you count as? Can you accept a challenge on his behalf? When will he be back?"

The coach frowned, dissatisfied but refraining from lashing out, knowing this guy's reputation for high skills and seeing his brazen attitude, "Tomorrow morning."

Li Zheming nodded, "Very well, tomorrow I'll be here to challenge the gym. Tell him to arrange for an ambulance in advance. If he's scared, he should close the gym early. However, unless he shuts down forever, we have a saying in South Korea: he can hide the first day but can't hide the fifteenth."

He Junming immediately laughed, turning to look at Chu Ge, "Bro, is that saying from South Korea? Did this guy get kicked in the head by a donkey?"

Chu Ge also laughed, shrugging, "Didn't they claim even Qu Yuan is a Korean? In their eyes, what isn't Korean?"

"This brat is at least half Hua by blood. How can he be so shameless?"

"Who knows?"

While they were talking, Li Zheming had already turned and walked back, casting a resentful look at Chu Ge, with his chin raised, arrogantly saying, "Tomorrow, do you dare to come?"

Chu Ge let out a chuckle, "Whether I come or not, what the hell does it matter to you?"

The corner of Li Zheming's mouth twitched, squinting his eyes, "If you don't come, it means you're scared, coward, trash."

With that, Li Zheming made a thumbs-down gesture towards Chu Ge.

Chu Ge said nothing, but He Junming was not pleased, tilting his head as he looked at Li Zheming with a mocking expression, "Why wait till tomorrow? You're already here, why not challenge the gym now? Or are you afraid of getting kicked out of the gym with a spinning kick again and hurting yourself?"

Li Zheming got even angrier, glaring at He Junming with a cold snort, "You, a defeated nobody who couldn't even take one hit, have no right to speak to me."

He Junming didn't get angry but instead laughed, as if he'd heard a joke, "Oh really, then by your logic, what gives you the right to talk to him?"

The corner of Li Zheming's mouth twitched again, clearly wanting to retort but at a loss for words. After holding it for a while, he begrudgingly said, "He can beat me, but he can't beat my teacher. Tomorrow, my teacher's coming to challenge the gym, and he's doomed!"

He Junming paused, finally understanding why Li Zheming didn't make a move today.

After finishing, Li Zheming snorted again, his nose in the air, and walked out of the Taekwondo gym in large strides, leaving everyone inside exchanging puzzled glances and discussing animatedly.

"That brat's bringing his teacher to challenge the gym? Seriously, isn't this a bit much?"

"I think his kicking technique is already quite impressive; he's probably around second or third dan black belt. What kind of power does his teacher have then?"

"Isn't this just plain bullying?"

"Our gym master is a third dan black belt. Wouldn't he be in danger? Even if he returns, he probably won't be a match for that brat's teacher, right?"

Listening to the discussions around him, He Junming was also feeling uncertain, unsure of how much chance Da Shan had against Li Zheming's teacher.

"Bro, what do you think? If Da Shan faces Li Zheming's teacher, who has a better chance of winning? In case Da Shan loses, do you have any plan?"

He Junming instinctively asked Chu Ge, only to realize after asking that it was a bit of a dumb question since Chu Ge had never seen Li Zheming's Taekwondo teacher. How would he know?

Besides, it was clear from when Chu Ge sparred with Da Shan earlier that he wasn't a match for Da Shan. If Da Shan loses too, what could Chu Ge possibly do?

As expected, Chu Ge shook his head with a chuckle, "I don't know."

Even though he knew he'd get this answer, He Junming still felt somewhat disappointed. He had thought that with Da Shan's Taekwondo skills, he could easily hold the fort. Yet, it turned out that Li Zheming truly had some skills and even had some tricks up his sleeve.

Rubbing his forehead, He Junming felt frustrated and looked at Chu Ge, saying, "Bro, are you coming tomorrow?"

Chu Ge patted He Junming's shoulder, "We'll see. If I'm free, I'll come by and see just how good Li Zheming's teacher really is."

Seeing Chu Ge still with that carefree smile, He Junming said worriedly, "Bro, maybe you shouldn't come. You made Li Zheming lose face last time, he's definitely holding a grudge. If Da Shan can win and make Li Zheming and his teacher leave in disgrace, that would be great, but if Da Shan loses, that guy will probably cause you trouble."

Chu Ge smiled slightly, "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I can't say for sure if I'll come now."

As they were talking, they saw a girl with a petite and shapely figure walk in energetically.

The girl had a lock of silver bangs over her forehead, an exaggerated fierce ghost head tattoo on her left shoulder, wore a black tight-fitting crop top with metal rings on the upper body, and sported a skull belt over her shorts. It was none other than the tomboy, Li Nan.

"Yo, Brother Chu, got some free time? Here to support me again?"

Li Nan was obviously in a good mood, and seeing Chu Ge made her even happier. Since Chu Ge had told her not to call him "Master Chu," she changed the way she addressed him.

Chu Ge smiled faintly and nodded at Li Nan, "Yeah, just hanging out with my brother."

Even though He Junming wasn't in the best mood, he still managed a smile when he saw Li Nan and greeted, "Senior Sister."

Li Nan seemed to ignore He Junming and sat down right next to Chu Ge.

"Brother Chu, let me tell you something. I found the guy who caused trouble at your recruitment event. It's a friend of Ma Tao's, and he intentionally wanted to embarrass you. I've already dealt with him for you. Do you want to meet that guy?"

Hearing this from Li Nan, Chu Ge was somewhat surprised. This tomboy actually took his words seriously. He had said he couldn't be bothered to care, yet she remembered and found the guy for him.

And considering her previous intent to help arrange accommodation for Ye Li, Chu Ge's impression of her had improved. This tomboy indeed had a bit of old-fashioned righteousness in her.

Chu Ge shook his head with a laugh, "No need, it's over. You don't have to trouble him; just let it go."

Li Nan nudged Chu Ge with her elbow, smiling as she asked, "Hey! Brother Chu, do you really trust me this much? Aren't you worried I'm fooling you and haven't done anything?"

Chu Ge rolled his eyes, speechless, "Is it really that big of a deal? Do I have to?"

Aware that He Junming liked Li Nan, Chu Ge subtly moved a bit to the side, but as soon as he moved, Li Nan cheerfully followed, snuggling closer.

"Brother Chu, if you trust me, shouldn't you reward me somehow? At least treat me to a meal, drink some ice tea, or watch a movie or something, right?"

Chu Ge, with Li Nan on one side and He Junming on the other, found himself to have no place to move, so he just stood up speechlessly.

"Okay, stop thinking about eating. Worry about your dojo first."

"Brother Chu, don't be like that! You're such a generous person. I've turned over a new leaf, and you're still going to hold onto my past foolishness? My dojo is just fine, what do I have to worry about? Don't try to change the subject!"

Chu Ge stood up, and Li Nan followed suit, looking somewhat aggrieved as she playfully punched Chu Ge in the chest.

Of course, the punch lacked any force and looked more like an affectionate gesture between lovers.

Seeing Li Nan act so intimately with Chu Ge right under his nose, He Junming felt somewhat uncomfortable.

In the vast dojo, a somber atmosphere loomed, yet from the moment she entered, all attention was on Chu Ge, oblivious to the grim mood surrounding them.

Involuntarily, He Junming let out a silent sigh.
