The white deer looked down on the green ox with disdain.
"Look at you, so unambitious. It's such a rare occasion for us to come down to the Lower Realm, and the master isn't here. Shouldn't we go out and have some fun?"
"You don't know about the Monkey King's capabilities."
The green ox snorted coldly: "If you have the guts to go out, I'll even call you Grandpa."
After speaking, it continued to lower its head and started nibbling on the grass again.
"What's so tasty about this fodder? I won't eat it. I don't believe the Monkey King would dare to starve me!"
The white deer said.
No sooner had it finished speaking than a Deer Demon came in holding fodder. The white deer looked up and its eyes bulged out.
"Immortal, please eat."
The Deer Demon walked up to the white deer, bent down, and placed the fodder down.
Her upper body was that of a graceful female. As she bent down, a scent the white deer had never smelled before wafted into its nostrils, though it could not discern what kind of floral fragrance it was.
The white deer stared blankly at the Deer Demon.
"Don't you like it?"
Seeing that the white deer wasn't eating, the Deer Demon bent down again, picked up the fodder and handed it to the white deer: "Try it, this fodder is really delicious."
The white deer came back to its senses.
"Sure, sure!"
It nodded repeatedly and started chewing on the fodder, finding it extremely delicious.
The Deer Demon giggled and then turned around, swaying her tail as she walked away.
The white deer watched her retreating figure, especially that swaying tail, feeling all stirred up inside.
"Why are the Deer Demons here so attractive?"
It couldn't help asking the green ox.
That Deer Demon had turned her upper body into a beautiful human form, yet kept her lower body and tail. The white deer had never seen such a uniquely charismatic beauty!
"It's rare for you and hence strange."
The green ox glanced at the white deer: "The female demons here look different than the ones outside. That Deer Demon will prepare food for you; you'd better eat it quickly."
"What do you mean quickly?"
The white deer hadn't caught on: "Is she going to teach me a lesson?"
"It's not that."
The green ox quickly finished its fodder and then called out.
"Here it comes."
An Ox Demon ran in carrying fodder: "Immortal, how did you finish so quickly?"
"Isn't it to see you?"
The green ox immediately beamed with joy: "Do you have time today? Let me tell you about my epic battle against the Bull Demon King in the Heavenly Palace!"
"You're lying." The Ox Demon shook its tail, giggling non-stop: "It'd be better if I tell you the story of the Bull Demon King making stretched noodles!"
"That sounds good too."
The green ox said with a smile.
Watching, the white deer was dumbfounded. This green ox had actually learned to flirt; it was completely preposterous.
After watching for a while, it couldn't stand it any longer.
The white deer quickly started eating the fodder.
And it really was delicious.
When Sun Wukong returned, he found two mounts that had eaten their fill and were sleeping on the ground.
"These two are quite obedient."
Sun Wukong thought to himself that maybe there was no need to tie them up.
"Emperor, come in."
Sun Wukong invited Emperor Donghua into Shuilian Cave.
After the welcome feast, the Immortal of Longevity headed to Liufudao. He had a bowl of longevity noodles and seemed very interested in the cuisine of Huaguo Mountain, so much so that he went to investigate it.
Only Emperor Donghua had yet to be dealt with by Sun Wukong. His original intention was to hand him over to Ao Luan.
However, after talking a few words with Emperor Donghua, Ao Luan couldn't figure out what he was thinking, and Emperor Donghua was unwilling to leave with her, so Sun Wukong had no choice but to invite him back to Shuilian Cave first.
Once Emperor Donghua took a seat in Shuilian Cave, he stayed seated for four days.
The white deer and green oxen grazed while watching Sun Wukong and the Emperor converse, thinking the Monkey King must have gone mad, as the other party was completely ignoring him.
But after a few days, both the deer and ox demons couldn't help but admire Sun Wukong.
Sun Wukong had put in a lot of effort and finally became familiar with Emperor Donghua.
Immortal Zhenyuan hadn't seen Sun Wukong for a few days and came to check on the situation.
"Junior brother, how is your conversation going with the Emperor?"
He asked the moment he entered Shuilian Cave.
"Not bad," Sun Wukong nodded. "I was just about to escort the Emperor to Yunxiao City."
Immortal Zhenyuan looked toward the Emperor, who nodded slightly.
Immortal Zhenyuan could see that Emperor Donghua had taken a liking to Sun Wukong.
"My wise junior brother is truly no ordinary individual."
Immortal Zhenyuan thought; he had yet to see anyone who would dislike Sun Wukong after a deep conversation with him.
Sun Wukong brought Emperor Donghua to Yunxiao City and handed him over to Ao Luan.
"The Emperor is very interested in the management of the demons of Huaguo Mountain."
Sun Wukong said, "You should assign him a suitable job."
Ao Luan looked toward Emperor Donghua, "What exactly would you like to do, Emperor?"
Emperor Donghua looked at Sun Wukong and nodded.
Sun Wukong frowned slightly, "Forget it, Ao Luan, don't bother assigning him a task."
He then said, "The Emperor wants you to show him around different places, he'll understand it all by himself later."
Ao Luan was taken aback, "When did he say that?"
"Just now."
Sun Wukong answered.
Ao Luan was utterly dumbfounded.
She gave a respectful bow to the Emperor, "Please follow me."
As Ao Luan was about to leave, having just turned around, the Emperor looked back at Sun Wukong.
"Wait."
Sun Wukong called out to Ao Luan, "The Emperor wants to change his appearance; you must not divulge his identity."
Ao Luan turned to look at Emperor Donghua and indeed saw him transform into a young man.
"Big brother," Ao Luan said feeling somewhat helpless, "how do you know what he's saying?"
"Through the eyes."
Sun Wukong patted her shoulder and said, "You can do it."
After finishing these words, Sun Wukong appeared to be somewhat tired as he walked away.
Ao Luan looked at Emperor Donghua, then gritted her teeth, forget it, just ignore him, guiding was all she needed to do!
Ao Luan led Emperor Donghua away.
Sun Wukong returned to Shuilian Cave and rested for a day, and the last Immortal arrived.
"I chatted with the Jade Emperor a bit longer, hence the slight delay."
Lord Lao Zi of the Great Monad said with a smile, "Looks like I'll be staying in Huaguo Mountain for another year."
"You can stay as long as you like."
Having met Emperor Donghua, Sun Wukong found Lord Lao Zi to be more approachable, "The flower spirits want to research new rice, are you interested, Lord?"
"You monkey."
Lord Lao Zi shook his head, "You really intend to use rice to keep me here!"
He laughed, "I've already handed over the task of promoting rice to the boys. As for researching rice, it's too time-consuming; let those flower spirits take their time!"
Lord Lao Zi had spent a year on rice and was no longer interested in it.
He was still more interested in Alchemy.
