The Tathāgata Must Fail

Chapter 208: Must Not Stay Any Longer

Heavenly Palace, an elder suddenly emerged from the void.

"Clang—"

The sound of a bell ringing rose, as Heavenly Soldiers and Generals swarmed from all directions, a majestic sight, enveloping the elder within.

"Who are you, to dare trespass into the Heavenly Palace!"

Shouted a Heavenly General loudly.

The elder didn't even listen to his words.

No, he didn't even look at him.

His eyes simply could not contain the figures of the countless soldiers and generals.

The elder continued to stride forward on his own.

"Halt!"

The Heavenly General shouted, lifting his long spear and charging forward: "Take him down!"

Tens of thousands of Heavenly Soldiers surged up with an overwhelming momentum.

The elder slightly furrowed his brow, did not turn his head, and casually waved his hand. Across a thousand miles like a storm's invasion, tens of thousands of Immortal Generals were blown away.

"There is something here."

The elder's face turned slightly cold, smelling an uncomfortable aura in this place.

It was not the aura of Chaos. Within this Star Palace, something surpassing Chaos was incubating.

What is it?

"Come out!"

Unable to find it for a moment, the elder reached out and grabbed from the void, capturing a Phoenix.

Yet, just as he seized it, a Long Stick assaulted from behind.

"Let it go!"

The Long Stick suddenly struck without any ripple or blowing wind.

Boom!

The elder, unconcerned, deflected with his hand but immediately noticed a tingling in his palm.

With quick reflexes, he shifted his body to channel off the force, avoiding the sudden strike.

But the Phoenix took the opportunity to escape.

The elder turned around.

"You've grown stronger again!?"

He looked at Sun Wukong, as if seeing a monster.

What kind of person was this? Just a moment ago, he couldn't hit him, and in the blink of an eye, he had mastered new powers.

Although this power couldn't hurt him now, there was no denying that Sun Wukong's growth was terrifying.

"What are his limits?"

The elder gazed at Sun Wukong, covered in scars and bloodied, surprised that he could still remain conscious.

Never mind, that's not important.

In that instant just now, the elder had already learned from the Phoenix where that incubating entity was.

He took one step forward and disappeared again.

When he reappeared, the elder was already standing outside a miniature world.

This was a man-made world, with a nebula as its pool, the sun and moon as the sky, and a white orb floating in the center.

That white orb was shaking slightly, like an egg about to hatch.

The elder's complexion finally changed, looking extremely grim.

He knew that the entity being nurtured inside was not something that should appear.

"Pangu Sky Splitting Axe."

The elder roared furiously: "Ignorant of life and death!"

He swatted with a palm, his Giant Palm thundering downwards, only to be stopped by a thin film outside the miniature world.

The Sky-opening Axe already possessed a spirit!

The elder was taken aback, as the film was radiating from the white orb.

Fortunately, it had not yet been born, and it must be destroyed immediately!

The elder's other palm also pressed down.

The film of the miniature world cracked and in an instant, there was a loud boom, and the Barrier shattered in response.

But as the Giant Palm pressed down an inch, it was stopped again.

Sun Wukong, holding his staff, blocked in front, his Armor already shattered like threads.

His Cloud Stepping Shoes were also missing, consumed by the cursed black fire.

But it was this barefooted Sun Wukong,

The Sun Wukong who was covered in wounds and bleeding from every injury, who resisted his Giant Palm.

"Foolish to the extreme!"

The elder sneered coldly, with his formidable power pressing down through his palms, causing Sun Wukong's waist to sink an inch lower.

"Just you, how could you possibly stop me!"

The elder's gaze was icy cold, as he pressed down with all his might with both palms.

Sun Wukong's waist sank another inch.

"I am the Venerable 's Dharma Protector God, what are you! Nothing but a monkey!"

The elder used all his strength.

Within the Chaos, no one could withstand such power.

Neither could Sun Wukong.

He suddenly said, "Come in!"

As soon as he spoke, the man-made world shrank dramatically, entered his mouth, and in a blink of an eye, went into his belly.

"You..."

The elder was shocked inside.

Sun Wukong suddenly smiled and disappeared before his eyes.

"This child cannot be left alive!"

The elder's complexion turned frightful, and he vanished from his spot.

Outside the Three Realms, in the Chaos, a Dharma Seal surfaced in Sun Wukong's hand.

He finally converted the power of the nine into his own.

Behind him, black halos flew up into the high sky, one by one.

By the time the elder arrived, nine black halos had transformed into nine black suns overlooking the two of them.

"He's even mastered this."

The elder, looking at those nine black suns, felt a chill down his back.

The black suns did not emit light, instead, they absorbed all the light and warmth of the space.

"Go!"

Sun Wukong's hand radiated the Dharma Seal, a black sun rotated, and a black pillar of light shot towards the elder.

That pillar was pure black, pristine without a trace of impurity. As if originating from the primeval Chaos, it traveled toward the ultimate end of heaven and earth.

The elder had no time to react, and the black pillar of light swallowed him in an instant.

"Void Devour!"

A loud shout came from the black pillar, terrifying waves of energy undulating ceaselessly within.

"Not enough!"

Sun Wukong's eyes seeped with blood.

As the first black sun exhausted its energy, he initiated the second black sun, continuing to slam the pillar down.

Nine rounds of black sun bombardment were vast and powerful, shattering the sound of Chaos itself.

Sun Wukong believed that even he would be obliterated into nothingness by such a horrific force.

"Success!"

Sun Wukong completed a round of bombardment, and then could no longer help it, coughing out blood with a "waah".

He wiped the corner of his mouth with his hand and looked forward.

The last black sun had exhausted its energy, the final pillar of light gradually shrunk, and in the end, vanished.

The elder, with an ashen face, stepped out from the pillar, his clothes tattered, no longer retaining his previous calmness.

"This monkey is truly fearsome and must be executed immediately!"

The elder looked at Sun Wukong with fluctuating expressions.

His rate of growth, not even the Venerable could compare.
