Diana's gasps turned into soft cries, her legs trembling around him as the deep, steady rhythm built higher, closer to that dangerous edge. Xavier held her tighter, one hand gripping her waist, the other sliding up to cradle her face as he kissed her again, pouring everything into it — his hunger, his possession, his need.
Their hips met harder now, still slow but with a weight that made the bed tremble under them. Her body clung to his, arching and straining, her voice breaking in short, breathless moans. His name left her lips like a prayer, like she couldn't hold it back.
And then, as he buried himself fully inside her, their lips locked, both of them finally gave in at once. The world collapsed into the heat of that final thrust, the wave crashing through them together, shattering them in unison. She cried out against his mouth as her release shook her, and Xavier groaned low into the kiss, grinding deeper as he spilled into her, holding her desperately close so not even a breath could separate them.
They stayed like that, trembling, lips pressed together, hearts racing in wild unison — their climax drawn out until it left them utterly undone, melting into each other in the afterglow.
The room was filled with nothing but the sound of their heavy breathing at first. Their bodies were still tangled, slick with sweat and trembling from the storm that had just passed. Xavier remained pressed against her, his forehead resting against hers, unwilling to let the moment break too quickly.
Her chest rose and fell beneath his, soft, warm, and glowing faintly as though her divine essence bled through her skin. For the first time since he had seen her, there was no cold, unshakable goddess, no untouchable deity. Just a woman, vulnerable, clutching him as though afraid the world might snatch him away.
"You're dangerous," she whispered, her voice breathless but threaded with something else — awe, maybe even fear.
Xavier gave a low laugh, pressing a kiss to her temple. "Dangerous? You say that like it's a bad thing."
Her lips curved faintly, though her eyes remained serious. "It is… for me. You shouldn't be able to do this."
"Do what?" he asked, brushing his thumb across her cheek, forcing her to meet his gaze.
Her eyes flickered, silver pools shimmering in the dim glow. "Make me forget who I am. Forget what I'm supposed to be." Her voice lowered, almost to herself. "I am the Moon Goddess… yet in your arms, I was nothing more than a woman begging not to be let go."
Xavier didn't flinch. His hand slid through her silken hair, holding the back of her head as he leaned close, their lips a breath apart. "Then maybe that's who you really are. Not some untouchable goddess, not some symbol in the sky. Just you. And maybe I'm the only one reckless enough to remind you of that."
Her breath caught. She tried to mask the ripple in her expression, but her hand on his chest trembled slightly. "…And what about you? Who are you, really? The man who teases a goddess until she breaks? Or the one who whispers like he's trying to heal wounds he shouldn't even know exist?"
Xavier's smile softened. He trailed his hand down her side slowly, deliberately, grounding her with his touch. "I'm both. Because with you… I don't want to hold back. Not from the way you make me burn. Not from the way you make me want more. But I also won't ignore the part of you that's tired of being worshipped instead of loved."
The words lingered in the air, heavy and dangerous, and for the first time, her divine composure cracked. Her lashes lowered, her lips parting as though she wanted to speak but couldn't find the words.
Instead, she kissed him. Softly, almost hesitantly, like she was afraid of what it meant. Xavier responded slowly too, his lips gentle against hers, not demanding this time but promising. When they broke apart, her gaze searched his, still trembling but steadier than before.
"…If you keep saying things like that," she murmured, her tone half-warning, half-plea, "you'll bind me to you in ways even fate can't undo."
Xavier chuckled, leaning down to nip at her lower lip before whispering against it, "Good. Then fate can watch."
She laughed softly then — not the distant, melodic laugh of a goddess, but something warm, something human. Her hand cupped his face, thumb brushing his jawline as she studied him as though committing him to memory.
"Xavier," she said slowly, almost reverently. "You terrify me more than any enemy I've ever faced."
He arched a brow, teasing lightly, "And yet you're still here, naked in my arms. Funny how that works."
Her cheeks flushed, but she didn't look away. Instead, she shifted closer, pressing herself into him with a quiet sigh. "…Because some terrors are worth surrendering to."
For a long while, they just held each other like that, silence stretching comfortably between them. His hand traced lazy circles over her back, hers rested against his heart, feeling its steady beat. Neither rushed to move. The battle of bodies had ended, but the battle of hearts had only just begun — and both of them knew it.
Diana's body still trembled faintly against his, the aftershocks of their passion refusing to let her go. Her cheek pressed to his chest, her breath hot against his skin, and for a long while she seemed content to just listen to his heartbeat. But then, her voice broke the silence, low, vulnerable, and weighted with truths she had held back far too long.
"Xavier… do you know how shocked I was when Lily contacted me after you shook this world with your achievements?"
Xavier tilted his head slightly, his hand still tracing the line of her spine. "No," he said simply, curious but calm.
Her silvery eyes flicked up to his, shimmering in the dim light. "I was extremely shocked. No mortal, no Souler, no one in Velmora's long history has ever reached affinity beyond the normal hundred percent. Not once. And yet you… you shattered that boundary as though it meant nothing." She shook her head, disbelief still echoing in her tone. "I am a goddess, and yet even I struggled to believe it."
Xavier's lips curved faintly, the corner of his mouth tugging into a smirk. "Guess I've always been good at surprising people."
Diana gave a soft laugh, but her gaze softened again, heavy with something deeper. "For Lily to be doing all this for you… for her to push herself and risk so much… she must love you more than words can ever express. But so do I. And I will prove it."
She shifted slightly, her fingers beginning to trace slow, lazy circles over his chest, each stroke a silent vow. "That's why I'll tell you something few in this world even know. I have a friend — a Divine Beast, just a level below gods and goddesses like me. If you desire, I will entrust it to you. With it by your side, you can explore beyond Velmora, beyond this cage of limits. The highest this world can give is SSS-Rank, but you… with your speed, your hunger… Velmora will never be able to contain you. Out there, among the stars, you can grow even further. And I will give you everything you need to reach that peak."
Her words hung in the air like a promise, raw and unshakable. Xavier's eyes narrowed slightly, studying her. He could feel her sincerity, but also the undertone of fear — not fear of him, but of losing him to a world greater than her own.
"Diana…" he began, but she pressed her finger against his lips gently, stopping him.
"Xavier," she whispered, her voice husky, trembling with something more than lust, "the distinct connection you have with Seraphina, Lucy, Lily, and Celene… I want to feel it too. Not just as your lover. As your woman. Entirely, completely."
For a moment, silence. Then Xavier's lips curled into that wicked smirk that always seemed to undo her composure. His hand slid down her back, cupping her perfect ass before giving it a firm spank.
Smack!
Diana gasped, her body jerking slightly against him, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson.
"Are you that eager, my Diana?" he teased, his voice thick with amusement.
"Ahh~" she moaned softly, burying her face against his chest, her soft breasts pressing into him. She hesitated, but then her trembling voice broke through, carrying courage wrapped in embarrassment. "Y-Yes… I am."
Xavier's laugh rumbled against her ear, dark and teasing. "Don't worry. I didn't forget it. Your pussy was just so good I forgot about everything else…"
Her entire body heated at his crude words, her divine composure cracking as she buried her face deeper into his chest. "You…!" she whispered, her voice muffled, unable to finish the sentence, her shame and arousal twisting together.
