As he spoke, Gao Shilong frowned and looked at Jiang Yuanyuan, saying, "Yuanyuan, why are you so distant with me? I'm your Brother Shilong, not just your teacher. Part of the reason I came here to teach is for you, to protect you."

Chen Xiaoqi was so stunned by Gao Shilong's words that he forgot to tell him to let go.

"Engaged couple? Why have I never heard Uncle Jiang mention this?" Chen Xiaoqi turned to look at Jiang Yuanyuan, who started struggling in pain, saying, "Nonsense engagement, Gao Shilong, let go of me!"

Seeing Jiang Yuanyuan struggle and realizing it wasn't appropriate to act like this in public at school, Gao Shilong was about to let go, when pain shot through the back of his hand, and he instantly released her with a cry of pain.

"Who hit me?"

Gao Shilong turned his head to see Luo Chao approaching, holding clothes in one hand and pebbles in the other.

"It's you! Little bastard, tired of living, are you? What gives you the right to hit me?" Gao Shilong cursed recklessly.

With her arm released, Jiang Yuanyuan pulled Chen Xiaoqi and ran towards Luo Chao, tossing Gao Shilong's clothes aside in the process.

Luo Chao draped Li Dacheng's school uniform over Jiang Yuanyuan and weighed the pebble in his hand, looking at the furious Gao Shilong, he said calmly, "Mr. Gao, I respect you as a teacher, so I'm using pebbles this time. Next time I won't be so lenient."

"You're just a bodyguard, what are you showboating about in front of me?" Gao Shilong fumed, dissatisfied that even a bodyguard dared to be so insolent. If word got out, how would he maintain his reputation in Linjiang City?

"Today, I'm warning you as a bodyguard: don't lay a hand on my employer. You don't have any contagious diseases, right? If my employer falls ill, you won't get away with it!"

Luo Chao glanced at Gao Shilong, having spotted him creepily putting his hands on Jiang Yuanyuan earlier. The man truly had no self-awareness and deserved a lesson!

Gao Shilong was wary of Luo Chao and felt uneasy seeing Jiang Yuanyuan depend so much on him. A handsome and wealthy man like him, who had been successful with women for years, couldn't handle a single girl? If word got out, his friends would die laughing!

Hearing Gao Shilong's threat, Luo Chao chuckled softly, wondering why everyone seemed eager to fire him!

Seeing Luo Chao hit Gao Shilong, Jiang Yuanyuan felt delighted, standing in front of Luo Chao with hands on her hips, pointing at Gao Shilong, she said, "With your looks, you think you can attract me? You better look in the mirror first. Also, Luo Chao is my bodyguard, on what grounds do you say you can just fire him? The one who should watch their status is you!"

Gao Shilong initially felt sharp pain in his mouth, and now as he relaxed his hand, he saw blood covering it. There seemed to be a hard object in his mouth. Opening it, he spat out a pebble and a tooth.

Seeing his lost tooth, Gao Shilong felt like crying. He pointed at Luo Chao and cursed, "Damn you, you dared to hit me, you're dead meat!"

Luo Chao, arms crossed, casually looked at the bleeding Gao Shilong and smiled, "Mr. Gao, don't joke with me. How could I dare hit you? Didn't you just trip and knock out your own tooth?"

Chen Xiaoqi, standing by Jiang Yuanyuan, chimed in, "Yes, Mr. Gao, don't falsely accuse people!"

Gao Shilong was so enraged he trembled all over but was unable to utter another word.

Luo Chao looked down at Jiang Yuanyuan, who still stood with her hands on her hips. From above, he noticed a hint of pink, cleared his throat, and reminded her, "Miss, you're exposed."

Upon hearing Luo Chao's words, Jiang Yuanyuan screamed, covered her ******, glared at Luo Chao, and pulled Chen Xiaoqi as she stormed towards the school gate.

Luo Chao glanced back at Gao Shilong, his gaze filled with warning and disdain, then turned and followed Jiang Yuanyuan with long strides.

Gao Shilong watched their backs, spitting out a mouthful of blood in fury, cursed, "Little bastard, you're tough. If I don't see you destroyed, I'm not a man!"

Luo Chao's ears twitched as he smiled silently.

Earlier, while downstairs, Chen Xiaoqi had already called A Yuan. By the time the trio walked out the school gate, A Yuan was waiting outside with the car. Seeing Jiang Yuanyuan and Luo Chao emerge dripping wet, he hurriedly got out, pulled Jiang Yuanyuan aside, and asked, "What happened? How did you end up falling into the lake?"
