Noah was about to move towards the serpent, when Luke suddenly called him to stop.

"Wait Noah." Luke's brows furrowed. he spoke without looking at him. His eyes were focused on a huge distant rock beyond the pond.

"Pull your hammer out and come near me." Luke said solemnly. Noah was a bit confused, but seeing Luke's seriousness, he did as he said.

Luke held Noah's arm and in the next instance, both of them vanished from their spot. The others were surprised. They didn't know what was going on.

"T-Teleportation spell? How can he do a seventh circle spell!?" Jane cried out in shock.

Behind the rock on the other side of the pond. Two young men were hiding. They were part of the same group that was luring other teams to the azure serpent.

"Who the hell is he? H-How the hell could he defeat a disaster class?" the first one said, his eyes wide open in shock.

"I-I don't know. There was no information on someone this strong." The second one said. "Is he perhaps…someone from this realm instead?" He asked, unable to believe what he just saw.

"This is a dead realm. We've checked it numerous times. We would have met him earlier if that was the case."

They were not able to believe someone from their age group could defeat a disaster class in one hit. He had to at least be a master mage.

"What should we do now? We need to retrieve the evolution stone. Or else lord Jekyll will kill us."

"We cannot deal with him. Appearing now will arouse suspicion too. We need to find leader first."

"Hmm. Let's do that…wait! Where did he go?" the first one asked, when Luke and Noah suddenly disappeared from their spot.

"Who are you too?"

The two of them were stunned when a voice came from their back. they reflexively turned around when a hammer moved towards the first one's chest and pushed him towards the rock.

Luke and Noah stood in front of them, looking fiercely at them with their brows furrowed.

"Why are you hiding like this, observing us from here?" Noah asked.

"W-We came here looking for the lilies. B-But then saw you all fighting with the serpent and didn't move close…thinking it might c-cause a misunderstanding." The second one said. Trying to give reasons.

"Why is he holding a dagger laced with dark mana then?" Luke said, pointing at the dagger held by the first one, pushed against the rock.

The second one was surprised and turned to look at his accomplice at the side.

"Tch! This moron." he muttered, clicking his tongue upon being caught. "Do it!" he screamed out and pulled a dagger similar to the first one, and rushed at Luke.

Luke didn't flinch. He reacted fast and a prana covered fist landed straight on the other one's face. He flew away and hit the rock hard as cracks spread on the rock surface from the point of impact.

Luke was still not familiar with his new power up. He couldn't control his force and the punch landed with quite the power. He vomited out blood immediately upon falling on the ground.

"Shit! I need to learn to control my prowess." Luke was about move towards him when a dark black runic circle appeared on the forehead of the two heretics.

Luke's eyes opened wide. He felt an ominous energy radiating out from the circles. He immediately held Noah and vanished from the spot.

"Hail the endless night!" the two of them closed their eyes. The next moment their bodies swelled and blasted into smithereens, blood and skin flying everywhere.

Luke and Noah appeared some distance away. Saved from all that blood splashing on them.

"These fucking heretics! These bastards are fucking cockroaches. The are everywhere." Noah gritted his teeth in anger.

"I have a feeling they are somehow involved with this serpent." Luke said. A fury rising inside him seeing those bastards again. "Let's check the serpent. We may find something in its body."

Noah nodded as Luke held his arm and they vanished again. Appearing near the serpent's lifeless body lying in a pool of blood.

Noah rushed to the serpent's body. He pulled out a dagger and starting cutting through the hard scales. Hoping to find some sort of evidence.

"What was that commotion there? Why did you two suddenly vanish?" Adriana asked as she came forward near Luke.

"How can you cast teleportation spell? Are you a mana master now?" Jane jumped forward. Her curiosity peaked.

"What happened there?" Ruby asked with worry.

"Calm down everyone! I'll explain everything. Just calm down." Luke explained how he sensed some dark energy coming from the rock. Upon focusing he saw two men hiding behind the rock and took Noah to investigate.

He also explained what happened there and how the two heretics were from endless night, and they killed themselves by blowing up.

"These bastards! They came here too." Shane said in a furious tone. Even hearing the name of those heretics filled them all with fury.

"But, how did they pass through the inspection? Their dark energy should have been seen by the enforcers." Ruby asked skeptically.

"What is endless night?" Adriana asked, confusion written all over her face.

Just then Luke and the others realized that Adriana and her team were oblivious to the inside information of the Frostbane incident. They only knew what had happened there. Not who caused it and why.

"Let me explain." Ruby came forwards as she explained everything that happened during their time in Frostbane.

Adriana, Jane and Jordan calmly listened her. Luke, Shane and Noah stood in silence. Recalling that incident filled them with anger. Till now they weren't able to overcome that trauma.

Adriana and the other two clenched their fists when they heard everything.

"Such heartless bastards! These fuckers…are they even human anymore?" Adriana squeezed the words out through her gritted teeth. A drop of tear rolled down her cheeks, hearing the unfortunate plight of Adam and all those innocent girls and women.
