The dragon stone moved fast as Luke kept trying to reach it, but it was increasing its speed the moment he was about to caught up.

After a long chase, he had moved quite far inside the realm. Just then he saw the silhouette in the distance. To his surprise, even the dragon stone was moving in the direction of the silhouette.

As he slowly reached near, the silhouette started to clear up and he saw a huge tower in front of him.

The dragon stone zoomed towards the tower and came to a stop in front of the tower doors as it kept floating in the air.

Luke landed on the ground and moved near the tower. Upon reaching in front of the door, he caught the dragon stone in his hand again, and this time it didn't resist, as if it was bringing him right to this tower from the start.

RUMBLE!! GRIND!!

The two huge stone doors slowly opened sideways, moving inside the tower walls, revealing another wall inside with a small round depression in it.

Luke looked at the depression and then at the dragon stone in his hand. though it was not a perfect fit, he still decided to try it out. He moved closer and put the dragon stone inside the depression.

Immediately the dragon stone turned into liquid and filled the whole depression. A runic circle appeared on the stone wall and then split in between, moving sideways as the door opened completely, allowing Luke to move inside.

Without thinking much, Luke stepped inside and the door closed behind him slowly. Various flambeau ignited on the wall of the room inside, giving a clear look of the surrounding. It was a circular room with nothing but a raised platform made of stone in the middle of the room.

Luke was confused and didn't know what to do next, when suddenly, flames from the flambeau separated and moved in front of him and morphed into letters. They slowly arranged themselves forming a sentence in the air.

"What the hell is happening?" Luke thought as he read the sentence carefully.

The letters then broke away and rearranged into another sentence and kept repeating many a times as Luke read them carefully.

FIRST TRIAL: TRIAL OF GROWTH

Luke was even more confused now. How the hell was this tower here, what kind of trial was this and how is he able to take this trial, all kinds of questions kept appearing in his mind when the flame letters formed another sentence.

GET ON THE TEST GROUND

Luke decided to follow for now. he realized the test ground was the raised platform in the middle, so he moved forward and climbed up on the platform.

DEFEAT THE SHADOWS AND MOVE TO THE NEXT LEVEL

The flame letters then dissipated and from the darkness under the flambeau, black smoke started rising and moved up on the platform. The smoke collected into one and morphed into the form of a beast.

"The screelowa?" Luke was a bit surprised as the first beast to appear was the screelowa. The first beast he had defeated in the forest of corruption.

The shadow beast didn't let him think as it immediately rushed at him with it's tail forward, ready to pierce him.

Luke channeled prana to his feet and vanished from his spot, appearing right above it's head. His fingers clenched into a fist as he moved his arm backward, ready to strike. Prana gathered into his fist and a fist shaped prana punch moved out of his gauntlet, striking right at the head of the screelowa, dissipating the smoke head completely, with only the body remaining.

"I've grown far stronger from then. You're no match for me now." his lips curved into a grin as the smoke dissipated completely, as if it was never there.

Luke had just started cultivating and had unlocked his first chakra when he fought the screelowa. It was a beast that had almost taken his and Noah's life. But now, he didn't even drop a sweat in defeating it.

Smoke started rising from below the flambeau as it then morphed into an Imoogi this time.

Luke now understood the meaning of the trial. The trial of growth was testing his growth till now, and giving him enemies he had defeated previously. At first the screelowa, then the Imoogi, and he could guess who the next opponent would be.

The shadow Imoogi rushed at him, its mouth opened wide as it fired a pillar of flame towards him.

Luke didn't dodge. He stood on the spot and let the fire engulf him. after the fire pillar vanished, Luke came out fine, still standing in the same spot, not even the edge of his cloth burned as he had covered himself with prana shield reduced to just a few centimeters above his body.

He has been training his flight and shield spell continuously while he was in the pocket realm and now it was time for him to test them. For him, the trial had reduced to a training for his spells.

The Imoogi appeared right in front of him, when he then moved his arms forward and held its jaw. He lifted his leg and stomped on the lower jaw, pushing it down on the ground. Prana gathered onto his fist as he fired the prana punch inside the mouth of the shadow Imoogi.

Its body ruptured and burst in a wave from its mouth to the tail. The black some then dispersed and vanished completely.

Another opponent was down in just a few seconds. Luke didn't even flinch or gasped for breath, he stood calmly as if this was nothing. He had come a long way from his initial days now.

After a few seconds, smoke started coming out from below the flambeau again and collected on the platform. Slowly it morphed into a figure, but this time it was not a beast but a human.

A smile spread on Luke's face as he had guessed right. the figure in front of him was of Navajo.
