"Savages? Dude, come on, what era do we live in that there are still savages?" Xie Xiaofeng scoffed loudly.

Hua Shan's face darkened, his eyes narrowed slightly, evidently displeased.

"I heard it from the locals," Hua Shan defended.

"Are you dumb?" Xie Xiaofeng glanced at Hua Shan with a very contemptuous look, "That must be a local gimmick to attract tourists. If there were really savages around, with today's science and technology, it wouldn't be hard to find them."

These straw huts were built in the dense forests, very difficult to detect from above. Living in these huts were dog-headed humanoids, physically taller and more robust than ordinary people. Like the white tiger giants, these dog-headed humans also possessed many firearms.

"They might not necessarily want to take over the world; it could also just be a criminal group involved in illegal trading," said Xie Xiaofeng while watching the dog-headed people.

In the room, Chen Hao was telling a story to Ye Yuqiao.

Just as Yuqiao was about to fall asleep while listening to the story, a "knock knock knock" came from the door.

Chen Hao shook his head and said, "She was just about to sleep! What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Tang Jing nodded.

"Come inside and talk," Chen Hao invited Tang Jing into the room.

"Tang Jing, what happened?" Yuqiao asked, slowly rising from the bed.

"Yuqiao!"

Tang Jing rushed to Yuqiao, sat beside her on the bed, and tightly grabbed her hand, urgently saying, "Xie Xiaofeng has disappeared!"

Turning her gaze towards Chen Hao, she continued, "Hua Shan came to see him this morning, and then he hasn't returned since. His phone's also turned off."

"Hua Shan went to see him!"

Chen Hao was surprised. After a pause, he approached Tang Jing and comforted, "Maybe his phone ran out of battery. Although I don't know why Hua Shan went to see him, with Hua Shan around, he definitely won't be in trouble. Hua Shan is very capable, especially at escaping."

"That's a good boy," Yuqiao smiled slightly, "Once the baby is safely born, the queen will reward you handsomely."

"What sort of reward?"

"What reward would you like?"

"You! I just want you!"
