The top of the gap led directly to the plain in the valley between the second and third mountains to the north of Six Fingers Mountain. And Hualien Town was located on that plain.

Since the east side was a seaside cliff over three hundred metres high, and there were two high mountains of the Six Fingers Mountain on both the south and north sides, the only way out for Hualien Town was via the ring highway built between the two high mountains coming from the west.

The reason why the army couldn't enter Hualien Town through the ring highway to rescue the townspeople in the past few days was that the Black Lion Beasts had occupied Six Fingers Mountain and wouldn't allow anyone to enter the valley.

After introducing the island's topography and situation, Old Cui looked at Chen Hao and Ye Fei, "I don't know if you have any good suggestions?"

Upon hearing this lion's roar, Chen Hao, Ye Fei, Xie Xiaofeng, and some members of the Superpower Organization quickly climbed onto the roofs of the trucks to confront the incoming black lion beasts.

(Writing this chapter, I remember when I first thought of Chen Hao's character while writing "Campus Hero," and then in the plot of this book. Initially, I wanted to pair the Campus Hero with a very cool teammate, not sure if Chen Hao counts as cool.)
