After kissing Ye Yuqiao's cheek, Chen Hao left the Nether Acupoint and returned to King Xin.

"Why wouldn't I have the heart to kill you?" King Xin snarled, her hand gripping Chen Hao's throat.

"Ugh!" Chen Hao suddenly felt choked, but inside he was secretly laughing, about to deliver the fatal blow to King Xin.

"Haven't you collected so many heads just to piece together my appearance?" Chen Hao asked, his voice deep and hoarse.

After a few thumping heartbeats, King Xin lifted her eyes to closely inspect the face before her, feeling exceedingly familiar with it, as the memory of her last and fifth meeting with Hua Shan surfaced in her mind:

Just as with their second encounter, after parting ways, King Xin had followed Hua Shan's scent. Like their previous encounters, their third and fourth meetings also occurred while Hua Shan was dealing with beast-men, with Hua Shan quickly disappearing far away shortly after dealing with them.

Their fifth meeting took place on Qingyun Mountain, in the southern part of the land owned by King Xin.

After single-handedly resolving the trouble caused by the ancient tiger-men, Hua Shan actively sought out King Xin, who had followed him to Qingyun Mountain.

"Did you come looking for me?" King Xin asked, feeling overjoyed at Hua Shan's initiative to meet.

"Hmm!" Hua Shan nodded, "With the beast-men chaos resolved, I've come to bid you farewell. Don't chase after me anymore, and I won't give you another chance to catch up with me."

Suddenly, Hua Shan embraced King Xin's waist, brought his face close to hers, and with a slight smile, said, "Miss, we were never meant to travel the same path, why make it difficult for both of us?"

"If that's the case, then why did you take advantage of me."

"In all honesty, you have a face that most men find hard to resist!" Hua Shan said softly, "If I don't say farewell now, I'm afraid I'll never want to leave your side."

"Then why say farewell at all? I want you to stay by my side," King Xin gazed deeply and slowly into Hua Shan's eyes.

After taking a breath, Hua Shan lifted his left hand, gently reaching towards King Xin's face.

King Xin looked at Hua Shan, her eyes filled with anger and disgust. However, she made no move, instead, her complexion gradually reddening under Hua Shan's gaze.

Eventually, she bashfully lowered her head.

It wasn't long before King Xin felt a breath drawing closer to her.

Yet, just as their lips brushed against each other like a dragonfly skimming water, Hua Shan suddenly recoiled, saying, "I'm sorry, I must leave now! I will remember you, you're Li Luo!"

And with that, Hua Shan disappeared. A moment later, a day later, a month later... up until today, King Xin had neither smelled his yang energy again nor seen him.

As King Xin recalled her last encounter with Hua Shan, her eyes were already brimming with tears. Just as she was about to rebuke Chen Hao for deceiving her, suddenly, a sharp pain surged through her head. She closed her eyes and the scene of that last encounter with Hua Shan replayed in her mind, only this time, Hua Shan's appearance kept changing, at times looking like Chen Hao, at other times like Hua Shan.

"I'm not him, I'm me!" Chen Hao glared at King Xin and said loudly, "Look at my face clearly, this is the face you've been longing for night and day!"

King Xin's eyes widened to their limits as the face of Chen Hao in front of her kept transforming and the tearing pain in her head intensified, threatening to overwhelm and knock her out.

"No!" King Xin wailed and sobbed, "You liar, you've deceived me, Hua Shan doesn't look like you!"

"Hua Shan?" Chen Hao's heart skipped a beat, immediately guessing that this Hua Shan must be the name of the person King Xin fancies. So, feigning great anger, he first pushed King Xin, who was right in front of him, and then angrily said, "If you don't believe me, then I, Hua Shan, will take my leave!"

As he said this, Chen Hao turned around and walked away briskly.
