Legend of Dragon Son-in-law

Chapter 1805: Vanquishing Evil and Upholding Justice

"Master Marsh. How did you get up here?"

The elevator doors opened, and the Black Prison guards immediately surrounded him.

It was not Melvin Marsh who stepped out, but the man who had gone down earlier, Atticus Marsh.

"Where's the Warden?" Atticus Marsh looked frantic: "Mr. Ghost's seal on the Mountain of Leaving is loosening, it's extremely dangerous down there! Quickly call the Warden over, we need to discuss how to deal with it! If this demon rises, our Black Pine League will suffer greatly!"

He kept looking around, his face filled with anxiety and fear.

"The Warden... the Warden just went down..." A Grandmaster, panicking, walked over to the monitor and pressed the call button.

But the nineteenth floor showed no response.

"Please pick up, Master, please don't let anything happen." Bane Cook was nearby, sweating profusely, praying silently in his heart.

Recalling what Melvin Marsh said to him before going down to the Black Prison, Bane Cook's heart sank heavily!

He turned around, seeing Atticus Marsh constantly looking around.

This expression didn't seem like fear, but concern.

Bane Cook wasn't stupid, he wanted to rush over and question him, but he knew how important the words left by his Master before going down were.

As expected, no one answered the video call.

"Let's go down and check!" A Grandmaster could no longer hold back. "You, sound the alarm. Remember, stop all elevators except this one. If I meet any accident and don't come back up, seal all exits immediately!"

The elder speaking was Melvin Marsh's senior disciple, also the Deputy Warden of the Black Prison.

At this moment, he didn't care about his own life, but was concerned about the safety of his Master.

And the lives of countless civilians in the Black Pine League!

"Senior Brother, we'll go down with you!"

Many of Melvin Marsh's disciples knew they had to face Mr. Ghost from the Mountain of Leaving, but they showed no fear!

Even death did not scare them.

Seeing this scene, Atticus Marsh shook his head.

Melvin Marsh was indeed a talented person, having taught disciples who were all righteous, sacrificing their lives without hesitation.

But unfortunately, Mr. Ghost had specifically demanded Melvin Marsh's life, giving him only one hour.

Time was tight, and for the sake of absolute certainty, he had no choice but to sacrifice this man who had dedicated his life to the Black Pine League.

After all, before power, no one is immune to sacrifice!

At worst, hold a memorial later and give him a proper burial, with some commendation.

"Brothers, if anything happens to Master, the burden of revenge is on you! Moreover, only you all understand the mechanisms within this Black Prison! Listen to me; if I don't come back up within three minutes, cut the power and seal the exits!" Melvin Marsh's senior disciple said firmly, then resolutely stepped into the elevator, bowing deeply to his junior brothers.

This departure might very well be a goodbye forever.

"Send off Senior Brother!" Bane Cook shouted, his eyes full of red blood veins.

He wanted to cry, but he could not cry!

Dozens of Grandmasters stood in front of the elevator, bowing deeply, their eyes filled with anger and resentment!

Everyone knew that something might have happened to Master.

Senior Brother's journey down might mean he would never return.

"Pull yourselves together!" The senior brother inside the elevator shouted vehemently: "Master told us, under the tutelage of Melvin Marsh, there are no cowards! Even if Master dies in battle, you shall not cry! Wipe away your tears and fight the enemy!"

Boom!

The elevator doors closed.

Rapid descent.

Bane Cook didn't speak, silently turned around, and left the Black Prison.

Leaving this place might mean being called a coward, being pointed at by thousands.

But he didn't care.

He wanted revenge.

Standing at the entrance to the grand hall of the Black Prison, Bane Cook looked back at Atticus Marsh.

The latter was holding a phone, unsure whom he was contacting.

This calmness, composure.

It didn't seem like panic at all.

"Dog!"

Bane Cook let out a cold, hopeless laugh and spat towards the ground: "Ptooey!"

He took off the Black Pine League's custom work uniform for the Black Prison and removed the royal custom token from his waist.

Finally, he fished out the royal honor medal from his pocket and tossed it onto the ground.

Stomped it hard with his foot.

"Son of a bitch."

After speaking, Bane Cook turned and bowed deeply towards the Black Prison.

For a full ten seconds.

Only then did he straighten up.

Folllowing that.

He knelt on the ground, towards the nineteenth floor of the Black Prison, and knocked three fervent times.

Walked away with head held high.

The elevator in the Black Prison stopped on the nineteenth floor.

After a brief pause, it quickly ascended.

"Cut the power!"

Someone shouted, preparing to rush forward and cut the power.

But Atticus Marsh blocked his path: "What if it's Melvin Marsh inside!"

"Master's direct words, even if it is him inside, the power must be cut! Moreover, today Master, before going down, unusually said a few words to Brother Bane Cook, clearly foreseeing that he would encounter misfortune!" A disciple of Melvin Marsh's shouted angrily, his eyes red: "Master Marsh, step aside!"

Seeing the elevator constantly ascending, this Black Prison guard directly pushed Atticus Marsh aside and slammed his palm onto the power switch!

The elevator stopped.

Paused on the fifth floor.

Everyone stared at the elevator entrance, their chests so tight they couldn't catch their breath.

Boom!

A loud noise.

The entire ground trembled.

Boom!

Another one!

The grand hall began to shake!

"Sound the alarm!"

Someone shouted as the entire Black Prison turned into chaos.

Boom!

A deafening explosion!

The elevator entrance was a chaotic mess, dust rising all around.

Many Martial Artists near the elevator entrance were rattled to the ground by the intense explosion noise.

The remaining people stared intently at the dusty spot.

Tap!

Finally.

Footsteps appeared in the quiet Black Prison.

A worn-out sandal slowly emerged.

Stepped on the ground.

Then!

A man with a bare upper body, covered in blood, wearing torn shorts and with disheveled hair.

Walked out from the dust.

"Hiss..."

The man took a deep breath, slowly extending his hands.

"The air of the living world is so fresh. The light of the living world is so dazzling!"

He laughed madly, suddenly clawing his hands!

Two Grandmasters closest to him were immediately grabbed by Mr. Ghost and raised high!

"With your blood, cleanse the rivers and mountains!"

Boom!

Two Grandmasters instantly exploded into two clouds of blood mist!

It should be known that in the outside world, Grandmasters are what many Martial Artists can only dream of becoming!

But in front of Mr. Ghost, they were like ants, crushed to death!

"Congratulations to Mr. Ghost on breaking out!"

Atticus Marsh was the first to kneel on the ground, constantly signaling to Melvin Marsh's disciples.

"Quick! Survival is what matters!"

He whispered.

"Ptooey!"

A young disciple spat on the face of this Black Pine League royalty, drawing his longsword from his waist. "Atticus Marsh, outer disciple of Master Melvin Marsh, Song Guangyi, today seeks to rid the world of this demon!"

Before he finished speaking, he charged towards Mr. Ghost!

Boom!

He had barely taken two steps when he exploded into a cloud of blood mist.

Blood splattered all over Atticus Marsh's face.

This royal uncle trembled, terror in his eyes.

Death, so frighteningly close...

"Disciple of Melvin Marsh, Chance Marsh!"

"Song Wen!"

"Skipper Martin!"

...

Inside the Black Prison, Martial Artists who could still breathe each drew their weapons, announcing their names, their eyes filled with the resolve to die!

"Exterminate evil, defend the righteous path! Kill!"

Dozens charged at Mr. Ghost like ants attacking a giant tree!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of blood bursts.

The ground littered with debris.

Dozens of abandoned longswords fell to the ground, seemingly emitting a mournful cry.

Atticus Marsh's throat moved, blinking continuously.

Feeling somewhat dazed.
