Chen Gu replied, "You should understand the way we from True Knowledge Sin operate. Now, it's time for you to choose: take the money and run, or stay and be buried with us."

"Ha!" The Night Demon King suddenly laughed. "Such a capable young fellow. No wonder the Bureau of Mystic Security can keep so many freelancers in check with special agents like you."

Behind Chen Gu, the gorilla and Man Suling's faces changed drastically. They hadn't expected the Night Demon King to be so well-informed, to already know Chen Gu's true identity.

Chen Gu was also momentarily stunned, then quickly tossed the box to the gorilla behind him. "Run, I'll hold them off!"

He lunged towards the Night Demon King, and suddenly, two spikes shot out from under his arms! He had hidden them there after snatching them while climbing out of a trap earlier.

The spikes whistled through the air, tracing a beautiful arc at an inconceivable speed. PFFT! PFFT! PFFT! They pierced the heads of those insect-like thugs, causing bursts of blood mist to erupt in the air.

But the Night Demon King's 'Demon Moon' remained locked onto Chen Gu. He shook his head in contempt. "Foolishly overestimating your own strength."

He pulled the trigger. A dark blue light, filled with mystery, rapidly glowed inside 'Demon Moon.' Then, BANG! A cloud of blue light enveloped Chen Gu, as beautiful as a nebula deep within the Star Sea!

Tears welled up in the gorilla's eyes, but he knew this was the opportunity Chen Gu had sacrificed his life for. He grabbed the box and pulled Man Suling as he ran.

Man Suling let out a dazed scream, struggling desperately, wanting to rush forward and save Chen Gu.

But she was forcibly dragged towards the exit by the gorilla, a Second Energy Level being.

"The remains are of great significance! Don't let Chen Gu's sacrifice be in vain! He's my sworn brother; we've been friends for decades! Do you think I'm not more heartbroken than you?!"

The Night Demon King no longer looked at Chen Gu but turned his gun toward the escaping gorilla.

But suddenly, a figure unexpectedly appeared right in front of him, their faces nearly touching!
