Miracle Farmer with Special Abilities

Chapter 0383: Zhang Bin's Magical Methods_1

What irked and amused everyone was that Zhang Bin still wasn't satisfied. He turned his gaze to the other eight contestants and said, "Do you all want to bet with me too? Just a friendly wager. How about one hundred million USD each?"

The eight contestants stared coldly at Zhang Bin. The majority of them shook their heads; they refused to gamble with him. They were highly-skilled masters of the gambling world and wouldn't be easily fooled. Anything out of the ordinary must be a bad sign, and Zhang Bin's behavior was far too abnormal. They were extremely wary.

However, Contestant No. 10 agreed, taking the hundred-million-USD bet. This contestant's name was Yoshiyuki Masaki, also from the Island Nation. He had superb dice-shaking skills because he possessed a powerful control-type Special Ability. He took the bet with Zhang Bin precisely because he was confident in his own skills and wanted to get revenge for Changdao Sheng.

Naturally, the audience's interest grew even greater, and they all looked forward to the first group's competition. They wanted to see if Zhang Bin could actually turn defeat into victory, who would end up eating crap, and who would win the treasures and the one hundred million USD.

The competition continued. Soon, four rounds had passed, and all the contestants had shaken their dice cups four times.

Zhang Bin's situation hadn't improved. He had rolled two "leopards," and his other two rolls were five 5s. His total score was 142 points. He was no longer in last place, however, because one player had blundered, rolling only 33 points in one round, bringing his total to just 141.

The other players were all ahead of Zhang Bin. Most of them had 143 points, and two had 144 points, which was the equivalent of rolling four leopards. These two were Silva and the expert from the Island Nation, Yoshiyuki Masaki—the very two who had bet against Zhang Bin. The Indonesian King of Gamblers, Ali, had 143 points, also surpassing Zhang Bin. They were all clearly formidable opponents.

Now, with only one round left, it seemed almost impossible for Zhang Bin to turn the tables. Even if he rolled a leopard like the others, his total score would still be too low. How could he possibly advance?

As a result, all the Chinese spectators were beside themselves with anxiety. Zhang Bin's friends and family were even more worried sick. Zhang Bin could not lose. The consequences of a loss were unimaginable. Not only would the treasures be gone, but he would also have to eat crap.

Everyone who had bet against Zhang Bin now wore a victorious smile. Down below, Changdao Sheng was dancing around, so ecstatic he looked like he might dump a bowl of crap on his own head.

The Indonesian King of Gamblers, Ali, was eyeing the ring on Zhang Bin's finger like a tiger stalking its prey, convinced it would soon be his treasure.

The Brazilian Gambling King, Silva, was already fantasizing about delicately playing with the Luminous Pearl.

As for the Island Nation's gambling expert, Yoshiyuki Masaki, he only regretted that his bet with Zhang Bin had been too small. Those who hadn't bet against Zhang Bin were now starting to feel a little regretful.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you still have a chance. I'm still willing to bet with you all. We can bet on whether or not I'll advance. The stake is one hundred million USD," Zhang Bin said, an evil smile spreading across his face.

Everyone was utterly dumbfounded, including all the viewers watching on TV. What on earth was Zhang Bin doing? Had he gone mad?

Four more contestants were tempted. Without hesitation, they took the bet for one hundred million USD. The audience grew even more excited, eagerly anticipating this gamble. The outcome was about to be revealed, as the fifth round was about to begin.

"I can't delay any longer. It's time to use my ultimate weapon," Zhang Bin muttered to himself. No longer daring to be careless, he pretended to reach into his pocket and pulled out a Talisman he had drawn the previous night, sticking it directly onto his forehead.

"What is he doing?"

The entire audience was stunned, unable to believe their eyes. Had Zhang Bin actually stuck a tree leaf to his forehead?

"No, that's a Talisman! Don't you see the special pattern on it?" someone exclaimed in surprise.

"Referee, he's violating the rules!" Silva, sensing something was amiss, shouted immediately.

"Contestant Number Seven, take that thing off your forehead," a referee said, his face dark.

"I just stuck a tree leaf on my head. How is that against the rules? Besides, I haven't even shaken the dice yet," Zhang Bin retorted, feigning an angry expression.

"Sticking a tree leaf on your head might affect the other contestants' moods and impair their performance. So, take it off," the referee said.

"Fine." Zhang Bin removed the "tree leaf."

The referee said nothing more, and the rest of the contestants breathed a collective sigh of relief.

"Contestant Number One, please enter the competition area," another referee announced sternly.

Soon, Contestant Number One entered the area and began to cautiously shake the dice cup. His previous score was 143 points, ranking him third. He still had a chance to advance, but only if he rolled a leopard this time, as there was always a possibility that the two contestants who had rolled four leopards might make a mistake in the final round.

All the Chinese audience members grew particularly tense. If this guy rolled a leopard, Zhang Bin would be unable to advance, as the contestant's total score would inevitably be higher than his.

Finally, the man slammed the dice cup down on the table and stepped back.

"Let's see if Contestant Number One rolled a leopard! This is a crucial moment," the commentator shouted with a grin as the camera zoomed in on the dice cup.

A referee carefully lifted the cup, revealing the dice. It was two sixes and four fives. Far from a leopard.

Contestant Number One was dumbfounded, his face a picture of disbelief. "How is this possible? How could this be?"

He was a top-tier King of Gamblers. How could he possibly roll such a low score? If the security here weren't so tight, he would have suspected someone of cheating.

"A mistake! Contestant Number One made a critical error in the final round, rolling only 32 points. It seems the pressure was immense," the American commentator exclaimed with a look of regret.

"Zhang Bin's luck is truly boundless. I have a feeling this 'mistake' was no accident," the Chinese commentator, Xie Bing, said with a sinister laugh.

"Hahaha!"

All the Chinese viewers erupted in excited laughter, laughing so hard they were almost gasping for air. This meant the contestant was no longer a threat to Zhang Bin; it was as if one more competitor had been eliminated.

"Let me decide your fate. Get that Luminous Pearl ready!" Contestant Number Two, Silva, gave Zhang Bin a look that could kill before striding confidently into the competition area.

She began to shake the dice with absolute confidence. She had already rolled leopards four times in a row. This time, she only needed 35 points to secure her victory over Zhang Bin, which would seal his fate.

The entire audience was thrilled, while the Chinese viewers tensed up once again. The commentators were shouting themselves hoarse, recounting Silva's glorious history. She truly had the skill; she was one of the favorites to win the championship.

"A mistake, a mistake..." Ma Rufei, Chen Chaoyue, and the others yelled frantically, while countless Chinese viewers watching on TV shouted along with them in suspense.

Finally, Silva slammed the dice cup onto the table and stepped back with an air of confidence. Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, the referee lifted the cup.

The points were, stunningly...
