The Ultimate Divine Class

Chapter 235: The Dawn's Light The Style of That Spear_1

The hooked-nosed old man and the horse-faced middle-aged man stared at each other.

Guardian Xiang was typically reticent and steady. He had always revered strength, possessed unwavering will, and was a standard ascetic before he embraced the inheritance of Evil Martial. Whether by his character or his physique, Guardian Xiang always imparted a sense of heaviness, stability, and reliability. In a group, this type of person was usually considered a solid pillar of support.

However, now, the constitutionally solid Guardian Xiang was actually trembling. He even spoke words suggesting he was about to die. The two of them could not comprehend what unknown, great terror could make someone like Guardian Xiang suddenly plunge into a breakdown in an instant.

CRACK!

As Guardian Xiang trembled to a certain degree of fear, his physique suddenly swelled. His concealing black robe tore open, and the mask on his face fell off. Very quickly, a shocking body was revealed.

His muscles were developed to an exaggerated degree, even bursting from beneath his skin, exposing numerous bluish veins and blood vessels that writhed like a skinned, living creature. Some parts of his body, however, presented a rock-like texture. His mouth had split open on all sides, resembling a flower with wide-open petals. On his face, already rent and fractured, his entire left cheek was blackish-gray, like a stone growing upon it.

Guardian Xiang let out a low snarl, a sound like an elephant's trumpet. His feet parted slightly and sank deep into the ground; his robust, imposing body seemed deeply rooted to the earth. Then, he turned to face a certain direction, his eyes wide and staring. His already abominable face became even more ferocious and terrifying. His gaze was fixed far ahead, as if in fear, in unwillingness, yet also as if quietly awaiting something's arrival.

"Wh-what… what is it?" the hooked-nosed old man and the horse-faced middle-aged man asked, their voices trembling, infected by his emotion.

Then, they heard a few intermittent words, filled with dejection, escape Guardian Xiang's lips: "Fate… time of death… the final limit… For a God's Defiler, the ultimate end…"

The two of them seemed to associate something instantly, and their faces changed drastically.

It was at this moment that a tremendous sound, like rapid drumming, came from the distance.

BOOM—BOOM—BOOM—

The sound was muffled and heavy, as if something was heavily striking the earth, treating the entire ground as a drumhead. Moreover, the rhythm was fast, approaching in an instant. The ground beneath their feet began to tremble violently, tens of times more intensely than the tremors Guardian Xiang had caused earlier, just like an earthquake.

The next second, the pupils of the hooked-nosed old man and the horse-faced middle-aged man contracted sharply. They saw, on the horizon before them, a massive black figure, fully over five meters tall, trampling the ground step by step, rushing towards them at an incomparably fast speed.

"A Walker Level from the Elephant God Religion?!" they blurted out instinctively. In that instant, an incomparably intense fear surged up like a raging tide, swiftly engulfing them.

Now they understood why Guardian Xiang had reacted that way. As usurpers of the Evil God Power, they faced divine retribution and pursuit from the gods. They had nowhere to hide; only a dead end awaited them. This was indeed the fate of an Evil Martial practitioner, and the price one inevitably had to pay for obtaining power beyond that of mortals.

The two retreated far back, leaving Guardian Xiang alone in his original spot. They watched, aghast and terrified, as the massive figure strode rapidly towards them.

Terrifying Evil Energy fluctuations, belonging to the Elephant God Religion and originating from Demon Mountain, formed a distorted scene around the figure, like a Power Field, seeming to devour even light itself. The dreadful Walker Level pressure radiated outwards, churning the airflow along its path. Visually, it imparted a sense of immense weight and boundless magnitude.

That figure seemed to transform into a black colossal wave tens of meters high. Wherever it passed, earth and stones were sent flying, and the ground cracked open. Carrying a terrifying aura capable of crushing everything, it rumbled towards them.

In comparison, Guardian Xiang—who shared the same origin and was in his fully activated state—seemed like a tiny reef beneath a colossal tsunami wave. He stood rooted to the spot, solitary, awaiting engulfment by the giant wave.

In the blink of an eye, the figure was upon them.

The hooked-nosed old man and the horse-faced middle-aged man were engulfed by the figure's tsunami-like momentum. As they felt the suffocating, terrifying pressure and watched Guardian Xiang in the distance, about to collide head-on with the figure, a profound sense of sorrow for a fellow sufferer welled up in their hearts.

Guardian Xiang's muscles tensed to their absolute limit. His eyes bulged, strained to the point that the corners began to split. His face was savage as he stared fixedly at the terrifying figure thundering towards him like an avalanche from Demon Mountain. Trembling, terrified, yet he let out a roar of unwilling defiance—the proud roar of a Fighter challenging fate!

ROAR!

Guardian Xiang roared, veins bulging, as he fiercely thrust a punch forward…

And then…

RUMBLE—

The terrifying black tidal wave rolled past Guardian Xiang's side. The gale whipped up by the massive figure's rapid passage billowed the hair on Guardian Xiang's forehead.

At that moment, Guardian Xiang was stunned. The hooked-nosed old man and the horse-faced middle-aged man were also stunned. All three of them froze, standing motionless where they were.

Only when the drum-like footsteps and the ground's vibrations had completely receded into the distance did the three of them slowly, bit by bit, recover from their stunned stupor.

With blank expressions, the three turned their heads to glance in the direction the Elephant God Religion's Walker had departed, then looked at each other. All of them saw the same dumbfounded thought reflected in each other's faces and eyes:

That person... that person... how did they just run past like that?!
