Back in the Underground Hideout in the woods.
Siderius sat upon a handcrafted chair that Ashe had made and puffing his long wooden pipe. White smoke came out of his nostrils and lingered around him.
Nicotine was a very popular chemical amongst the witch hunters. It impacted your health but provided a rather soothing protective layer to the mind, which was what Witch Hunter really needed. Psychosis always bothered them day and night.
Siderius had tried to quit many times but in the end, he just decided to indulge himself. He didn't allow himself to enjoy a lot of things. Witch hunters did not have that much time for enjoyment. But tobacco was his exception.
Ashe ran around in an obstacle course that Siderius had made before. He made it to train his traversing skill and footwork. It wouldn't translate to Agility one hundred percent but it was a good tool to learn how to balance one's body and train footwork in high speed chase.
Ashe breathed heavily. Her shoulders came up and down. She tried to climb up a vertical wood wall that Siderius made. Her muscles screamed of tiredness and soreness.
"Breathe with your diaphragm!" Siderius screamed.
"Yes, Master!" Ashe tried to breathe deep and down into her belly, avoiding her shoulders to raise.
Siderius nodded. He finished his pipe then went under the Underground Hideout.
Siderius picked up a barrel of matured ale and took it out of the wine cellar. He intended to make a new batch of development tonic. This time, he wanted to make a strength tonic.
Currently his strength was less than desirable. Strength wasn't a main focus for a witch hunter. What they needed more than everything else was to hone their crafts and skills. Siderius already got that down due to his two hundred years of experience.
Now he needed a better physique to enhance that to the fullest.
Ale was best to use for development tonic and made sure the spirits made would be of best quality.
"Access Spirits Library. List the information of Deer Anabolism." Siderius said.

"Cervid Libidium…" Siderius rolled his eyes. He almost forgot this thing existed. "That can probably be sold for a lot of coins."
Siderius obviously didn't need it. But he knew this thing would be very popular amongst nobles. It was the exact same situation back in his old world.
The hunter tapped his chin in deep thought. "I have a lot of residue and byproduct that I don't need from all the tonics and experiments I made. They aren't useful in combat or power development. But I bet there is someone that can sell it.
Jude has a lot of merchant connections in his town. I can give him some tonics to sell."
Siderius took the antlers from the last buck he and Ashe hunted and began to make the new strength anabolism tonic.
He used Lemonbulb as a replacement for Salvant Root like what he did with the Wolverine Anabolism. As for the replacement for Blood Bean, luckily, Tanya had a lot of herbs that had Earth and Fire elements. Siderius would just need to test them one by one to see if any was suitable.
It took him three whole days to find a replacement amongst the herbs. He still trained with Ashe in the morning, keeping his body well-developed, and experimented in the afternoon and evening.
Siderius didn't forget to meditate every day when he woke up as well.
[PSYCHOSIS -3]
[PSYCHOSIS LEVEL: 120/150]
The afternoon of the third day.
"Hmmm?" Siderius raised an eyebrow. He focused intensely on the floating black beans in the mixture.
This bean was named Cacoal Bean by Tanya's grandmother. A rare case since she always named her herbs after some type of food. The Cacoal Bean was round, different from the elongated shape of Blood Bean.
Its Fire and Earth elements dissolved into the mixture and left a hard spherical bean behind.
Siderius picked up the hard Cacoal Bean and tried to break it with his hand. Surprisingly, he couldn't squish it with his fingers and could only dent it with a tool.
"That is as hard as the Blood Bean. Maybe I can also make a new bomb with it?"
Currently he had the Slagpaste Projectile, which covered the enemy in a type of oil that easily caught on fire. The Explosive Projectile which exploded. And the Phosphorus Projectile which created a very hard to put out blue fire.
Back in his old world, it wasn't uncommon for Witch Hunter to use bombs. Blood Bean, although softer than actual steel, was still more durable than stone and could withstand the explosion of a bomb. By putting it into a bomb as pellets, Blood Bean would potentially scatter the surroundings in the explosion and hurt everyone in the parameter. However, because of its shape, it lost most of the speed after an explosion and couldn't do much damage in real world application.
Cacoal Bean was different. It was round, a very aerodynamic efficient shape and could travel far and fast after an explosion.
"If I stuff these 'pellets' into a compartment surrounding the explosive compartment, it can potentially become a new type of cluster bomb…"
Siderius smirked deviously. A new bomb and a new tonic were coming into reality.
