After Bai Shishi was placed on the stretcher and the ambulance, flashing blue lights, disappeared from view, Lin Tian finally took a deep breath.

By this time, he was thoroughly drenched in sweat...

"Huff huff!" After a few deep breaths, Lin Tian regained his rhythm, turned around, and re-entered the building's main entrance.

He didn't accompany Bai Shishi to the hospital because he had something more important to investigate.

The sudden power outage, the blocked elevator ventilation shaft, it all seemed a bit too coincidental.
