"To East Lake Villas!" Bai Shishi spoke softly from the back seat.

"Going home, huh?" The taxi driver chuckled lightly, flooring the gas pedal as the taxi zoomed through the empty streets at night.

The taxi stopped at East Lake Villas, Bai Shishi got out first, and Lin Tian stayed behind to pay the fare.

"Thirty bucks!" The taxi driver glanced at the meter and hurriedly asked in a low voice when he saw Bai Shishi get out, "Bro, where'd you find her?"

"What else? Stay inside?" Lin Tian joked half-heartedly, pointing at the mat on the floor, "Am I sleeping here tonight?"

"Yeah!" Bai Shishi nodded, "Nobody lives upstairs, it's very dirty. The other bedrooms on the first floor are also dusty, and it's too late to tidy up, so just make do in the living room for the night."

"Can't a guy get a good night's sleep around here?" Lin Tian turned, feeling a bit parched.
