Liou Qingcheng didn't leave; she stayed in the hospital room, claiming she wanted to take care of the injured.
She asked the nurse for a blanket, then lay down on the leather sofa and began reading an ancient medical book, looking very studious.
After finishing the book, she tossed and turned on the sofa, unable to sleep, because under someone's intense gaze, she felt quite uncomfortable, her cheeks heating up, and her heart pounding like a little deer, making her feel flustered.
"Can't even get out of bed, yet still up to no good," Liou Qingcheng muttered softly.
"How am I up to no good?"
Lin Tian rested his hands under his head, looking at Liou Qingcheng's heaving chest, his face blossoming with a smile.
"Stop looking at me!" Liou Qingcheng turned her side, facing away from Lin Tian, and scolded.
Lin Tian's gaze shifted to her pert backside, laughing, "Qingcheng, they used to say women with big butts are good at having babies. I think you're quite suitable."
"Go to hell!"
Liou Qingcheng glared at Lin Tian angrily, then covered her butt with the blanket. However, that fullness and firmness could not be hidden by just a blanket.
Lin Tian chuckled softly, his eyes turning into crescent shapes. Without using his X-ray vision, he just looked at Liou Qingcheng gently.
Lin Tian knew she hadn't rested well these past days and didn't tease her further, lying flat on the bed, his eyes gazing at the ceiling, lost in thought.
Liou Qingcheng seemed to sense something different about Lin Tian, turned to look at him, and seeing his serious expression, she couldn't help but smile dreamily.
The two didn't speak again, and soon the quiet hospital room was filled with light snores; Liou Qingcheng had fallen asleep.
Lin Tian turned off the light, reined in his chaotic thoughts, closed his eyes, and began to cultivate.
Cultivating doesn't necessarily require sitting cross-legged; as long as the Spiritual Qi flows, Lin Tian can cultivate.
With the Spiritual Qi flowing through his organs and limbs, he felt a tingling sensation. This meant the wounds were healing, uncomfortable as it was, Lin Tian was pleased.
At this rate, the fractures in his body would heal soon, and he'd be able to get out of bed in a few days.
As the saying goes: It takes a hundred days to heal bones.
If someone else had suffered such severe injuries, they would be lying in bed for several months and might even have aftereffects, like being unable to lift heavy objects or engage in intense activity.
But this old saying doesn't apply to a Martial Artist, especially not to Lin Tian who has the Tyrant Emperor's Record.
As Lin Tian was cultivating with his eyes closed, a 'clink clink' noise suddenly came from outside the window, like metal touching metal.
The sound was faint, but Lin Tian remained vigilant. He stopped cultivating, and his hand slowly reached for the bedside table. He picked up an orange and a fruit knife, then lay back down calmly.
The 'clink' sound suddenly stopped, and someone stood at the window. She was dressed entirely in black, wearing a black hat, and even her face was covered by a black mask, only exposing a pair of sharp, spirited eyes.
Lin Tian was secretly shocked; this was the eighth floor, yet the person seemed at ease.
Through observation, Lin Tian found it was a woman, judging by the fullness of her chest and graceful curves, her body extremely flexible.
Her eyes scanned the room twice, seeing she hadn't alarmed Lin Tian, she tossed something into the ward, barely making a sound, and then she swiftly closed the window.
Lin Tian glanced over and found that what she tossed was a button.
Of course, it wasn't an ordinary button; in the moment it hit the floor, four small holes opened on it, releasing wisps of purple mist.
The scent was light, somewhat like osmanthus. Normally, it wouldn't raise anyone's suspicion.
Lin Tian sniffed it and immediately knew it was just a sedative with no toxins, which reassured him about Liou Qingcheng's safety.
Of course, this anesthetic had no effect on Lin Tian. With the Spiritual Qi circulating, it all evaporated.
After more than ten seconds, the window opened again to a small gap, through which the woman squeezed inside.
Her body moved fluidly like a piece of silk, her movements seamless and graceful in the moonlight.
Then, another person climbed in through the window, also a woman. Both had nearly identical builds and attire, though the second woman's eyes were cold and filled with a murderous intent.
Though Lin Tian's eyes were closed, he had X-ray vision, seeing through their disguises as if his eyes were wide open.
Through their clothing, Lin Tian saw their figures completely. Hmm, no padded bras; genuine material, just a bit smaller than Liou Qingcheng, Bai Shishi, or Mei Ruyan.
Their faces were also very beautiful, or rather, enchanting.
The first girl in seemed displeased, muttering, "Sister, Da Dahai is overestimating him, isn't he? He's so crippled, yet sends the two of us here."
"Stop wasting time, get the job done quickly, and leave." The sister was evidently uninterested in the task, her soft body leaning against the window.
"Alright," the sister responded, pulling a syringe filled halfway with an unknown liquid from her waist, intending to inject it into Lin Tian's arm.
Just as she raised her hand, Lin Tian moved too. He also lifted his arm and swung it out.
Perhaps intentionally, Lin Tian's fist struck the sister in the chest.
The sister felt a painful tingling sensation in her chest, and then she stumbled back several steps, even losing grip of the syringe.
"You're not affected by the sedative?" the sister clutched her chest, both embarrassed and angry.
Lin Tian smiled and nodded, "Are you two flower thieves? Trying to knock me out and take advantage...?"
"No way, I value my chastity more than life itself!"
The sister frowned, coldly remarking, "Shameless scoundrel! You're crippled and still spewing vile words. Sister, let's take him down together!"
Despite their fiery physique and skills, the sisters were cautious; both reached for a gleaming dagger from their waists, each with barbs, and swung them at Lin Tian.
The blades weaved through each other, their cold glare like frozen light in the gentle moonlight.
Lin Tian's expression turned serious; he sat up straight and swiftly turned on the room's light.
Even with X-ray vision, it was ineffective in such dim settings.
The room lit up brightly, and in Lin Tian's view, their movements suddenly slowed. Yet their coordination was impressive, leaving no openings or flaws.
Seeing the gleaming blades approaching, Lin Tian channeled Spiritual Qi into the orange and tossed it toward the sister.
The orange entered the flurry of blades, producing a metallic sound, soon to be shredded, spraying juice everywhere, and leaving debris all over the floor.
"Get him!"
With a sharp cry, the sisters raised their daggers together, slashing at Lin Tian's heart and neck.
