The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 182: The Approaching Storm

He Wu heard Yang Wen couldn't be released, and asked, "Then what should we do?"

"He'll just have to stay inside!" Wang Quan was also helpless about the situation.

After all, it wasn't going to be easy to release Yang Wen immediately after he had gone back in.

"Uncle, can't you think of any other way?" Wang Ba felt guilty about Yang Wen being imprisoned again.

If he had managed to make the call back then, there wouldn't be so many problems now.

"Instead of thinking about rescuing Yang Wen, why not figure out how to take revenge on Lin Tian and Bai Shishi?" Wang Quan redirected the hatred towards Lin Tian, the real culprit.

"Right, the three of us being jailed before and now Yang Wen going back in is all Lin Tian's fault!" He Wu said through gritted teeth.

"Uncle, you must have an idea since you called us here, right?" Wang Ba speculated on Wang Quan's intentions.

"Hmm!"

Wang Quan nodded, "Instead of you aimlessly seeking revenge on Lin Tian and Bai Shishi, why don't we come up with a perfect plan!"

"What plan?" He Wu and Wang Ba spoke in unison.

"I want you to follow Bai Shishi and report her location at all times!" Wang Quan revealed a plan he had been plotting for a long time.

As for the ultimate goal of this plan, only he was aware…

"Just follow?" He Wu asked in surprise.

This seemed too simple—how was following supposed to achieve revenge?

"Yes, just follow. Follow Bai Shishi for some time, thoroughly understand her routine, and as for what comes next, leave that to me!" Wang Quan said in a serious tone.

"Okay!" With his uncle having laid out the plan, Wang Ba had no choice but to comply.

Without a job and income, he could only follow Wang Quan's lead.

Since Wang Ba agreed, He Wu, who was following Wang Ba's lead, didn't question any further.

"I won't let you two work for nothing!" Wang Quan picked up his wallet from the table and handed a bank card to Wang Ba.

"What's this?" Wang Ba feigned confusion, but inwardly he was elated.

Soon, he would have money to spend.

"There's a million in the card, use it for your entertainment and as expenses for the plan!" Wang Quan handed the bank card to Wang Ba.

As they took the bank card, Wang Ba and He Wu were both thrilled, forgetting about the plan, the revenge, and about Yang Wen entirely.

Having money meant having fun and freedom to act.

Who cared about anything else anymore.

"Alright, get yourselves a car, just make sure Bai Shishi doesn't catch on to your tailing her!" Wang Quan instructed, waving them off.

With the bank card in hand, He Wu and Wang Ba happily left.

Once they were gone, the room instantly became quiet, freeing Wang Quan to pull out a new phone and dial an international call.

"Hello, Mr. Zhuge?" There was an unexpectedly respectful tone in Wang Quan's voice.

"Mr. Wang, how's the preparation of the goods?" A sinister and calm voice came from the other end.

"Just give me another half a month to smuggle it across, please be patient, Mr. Zhuge!"

"How's the shipment?" The questioning voice made Wang Quan extremely nervous.

"They are all valuable antiques, sure to satisfy you, Mr. Zhuge!" Wang Quan said with a cheerful smile.

"Half a month, the shipment must be ready; money is not an issue, but the goods must be good!" Mr. Zhuge instructed.

"Rest assured, this isn't our first cooperation!"

After exchanging a few pleasantries with Mr. Zhuge, Wang Quan hung up the phone.

He took a deep breath to calm his emotions and muttered to himself, "Just this one last job, then I'll quit!"

Putting the phone back in the bag, Wang Quan tossed a stack of red bills onto the table, more than enough for his expenses at Golden Age tonight.

At the same time Wang Quan left Golden Age, in another room at Golden Age…

A shadowy figure stood angrily, while in front of him stood a man with a bruised and battered face.

"Completely wiped out?" The shadow queried.

"Completely wiped out!" The bruised man replied, still clutching his rear, brows furrowed.

"Injured?" The shadow asked.

"Someone poked my rear with a stick!" The bruised man admitted honestly.

The shadow smirked coldly, "Lin Tian is quite ruthless, huh?"

"Boss, that Lin Tian kid has serious skills, even you might not beat him!" The bruised man spoke truthfully.

"I know!" The shadow said, then asked again, "Did you complete what I asked you to do?"

"Yes!" The bruised man nodded, "We were all taken down by Lin Tian, then he interrogated me, asking who sent me!"

"I pretended I wouldn't say, damn it, the kid pulled some Millennium Kill technique, my rear still hurts when I walk!"

"Get to the point!" The shadow said impatiently.

"So I confessed and said it was Laughing Tiger Du Dahai who sent me!" The bruised man said, with a sly smile.

"Lin Tian didn't suspect?" The shadow raised an eyebrow.

"No, he shouldn't suspect there's a scheme!" The bruised man spoke with certainty.

"That's good!"

The shadow smirked, "I can't wait to take over you!"

"Boss, what's next?" The bruised man nodded eagerly.

"Wait and see!"

"Yes!"

"But to make things more interesting, I think it's necessary to make a call!" The shadow smirked as he took out his phone.

Meanwhile, Du Dahai, having just finished socializing, returned home and sat on the sofa watching TV.

At that moment, his phone suddenly rang, and he quickly pulled it out of his pocket.

An unknown number, Du Dahai immediately hung up; people of his status usually didn't answer unfamiliar calls.

"Ring ring~!"

The phone rang a second time, prompting Du Dahai to finally pay attention; someone genuinely trying to reach you would persist after all.

"Hello, who is this?" Du Dahai's deep voice sounded.

"Hello, Hai!" Came the polite voice.

"I asked, who are you?" Du Dahai repeated.

"My identity isn't important, what's important is if you want to know about the honor student?"

"Oh… Your words have piqued my interest!" Du Dahai grinned, becoming more intrigued by the caller's identity.

"Of course~!"

"But I'm sorry, I actually don't want to know!" Suddenly, Du Dahai's tone shifted startlingly.

"Why?" The caller was equally surprised.

"People like you, who call sneakily without revealing identities, obviously have something to hide, right?"

"Either you're trying to get some benefit from me, or you're just messing with me!" Du Dahai dared not indulge, not knowing if someone was trying to trick him.

There was a long silence from the other end, "I'm Xiaogang, do you remember me?"
