Chapter 106: Murkfang... Rescued?

The sun was just setting over Elandor, painting the sky in deep oranges and purples as its last rays slipped through the narrow window of the shared quarters.

The room was bathed in a warm, fading glow, the candles unlit for now, their wicks waiting for full dark.

Shadows stretched long across the stone floor, but there was still enough light to see clearly.

Byung moved like a shadow among the bushes outside, his small goblin frame slipping past with ease. The security had loosened—just one guard now, stationed lazily at the front door, his head nodding as he tried his best to stay awake.

It was easier than Byung had expected. No patrols, no watchful eyes scanning the walls in the dying day.

He hoisted Murkfang over his shoulder without a grunt.

The injured goblin was light, his body frail from days of hiding and starvation, but Byung's wiry muscles handled the weight with no difficulty.

He glanced around once more, ears twitching for any sign of movement.

Nothing but the chirp of evening birds and the rustle of leaves in the breeze. With a quick leap, he gripped the window sill and pulled himself up, careful not to scrape the stone. Murkfang's limp form slid through the opening first, lowered gently onto the soft rug inside. Byung followed, landing silently on his feet. The room smelled of lavender but this was soon replaced by the revolting smell of Murkfang.

He dragged Murkfang to a corner, propping him against the wall. The goblin's chest rose and fell in shallow breaths—alive, barely. Byung checked his pulse, felt the weak thump under the green skin.

"Good. He was still in the fight," Byung thought to himself.

Lira laid on the bed, deep asleep. Her blonde hair spilled across the pillow like golden threads, her sheer gown clinging to her curves in the sunset light.

She breathed evenly, one hand tucked under her cheek, lost in dreams, oblivious to whatever was happening in her inmediate surroundings.

Byung's eyes flicked to Maui. The massive orc sat on a sturdy chair near the door, her green eyes staring right at him without uttering a word.

She was awake, waiting, her arms crossed over her broad chest. Her leather top strained against her massive breasts, and her muscles rippled even in stillness.

She nodded once at Byung—a silent question.

"Alive?" She whispered.

Byung nodded back, wiping sweat from his brow. He knelt beside Murkfang, checking for wounds. Bruises, cuts, feverish skin. Nothing fatal yet.

"He'll live," Byung whispered back.

"But we can't stay. Rodell's men are sloppy now, but dawn will change that. More guards will show up. We need to leave while there is one," Byung added.

Maui's voice was a low rumble.

"Leaving won't be easy. Window's our only way out and there is no way we wouldn't be noticed. Front door's guarded as well. Walls too high to scale," Maui reminded him they were in a well guarded Kingdom.

Byung stood, pacing the small space. His mind raced. Security was tight during the day—patrols, locked gates, watchful eyes. But the setting sun had thinned it. Still, sneaking three—himself included —with Murkfang's condition? It would be impossible without a plan. His gaze drifted to Lira, still sleeping soundly, then to Maui.

The orc's body was a fortress—tall, wide, powerful. Her massive breasts, full and heavy, pressed against her top. An idea sparked, desperate and wild.

"Maui," Byung said, voice hesitant.

"Your... size. We could hide him," Byung suggested.

Maui raised a thick brow.

"Hide where?" Maui hoped her ears were having problems.

"Between... your breasts. Press him close. Your body would cover him. No one would see." Byung nervously swallowed as he revealed this bold move to her.

She belonged to him but this didn't mean she would let others enjoy the benefits that came with it even at his command.

Maui's eyes widened, then narrowed. She glanced down at her chest, then at Murkfang's small form.

"You serious?" Maui had to be sure this was the only way.

Byung nodded, ears flattening in embarrassment.

"Desperate times. I'd never allow this otherwise. In a million years, no. But it's our way out. You carry him like a pack. I will follow close. Guards see a big orc and a goblin who came to visit. Nothing suspicious," Byung revealed and it was also worth remembering they weren't prisoners.

Maui stared for a long moment. Her face hardened, but she didn't argue.

This was survival. She stood, towering over Byung, and scooped Murkfang up with one arm. The goblin groaned faintly but didn't wake. Maui adjusted her top, loosening the ties just enough.

With careful movements, she nestled Murkfang against her chest, his head tucked under her chin, body hidden in the deep valley between her massive breasts.

She retied the leather, securing him snugly. Her curves swallowed him completely—no bulge, no sign. Just Maui's imposing form as his dirty clothes were left discarded on the floor. But, the rug was cut so he could be wrapped in it.

"Feels weird," she muttered.

"But he's hidden." Maui was ready to leave this place.

"Good. We move soon, before full dark. Stay quiet. Lira is asl—" Byung was interrupted by a sound from behind.

A soft stir from the bed. Lira's eyes fluttered open at last. She sat up slowly, rubbing sleep from her face. Her gown slipped off one shoulder as she blinked at them in the fading sunset light.

Byung froze. Maui tensed, hand ready to reach for her throat. If Lira screamed, called the guard. It would all be over because they had no idea how much she had heard.

But Lira didn't act out of the ordinary.

She swung her legs off the bed, bare feet touching the cool floor. Her blue eyes took in the scene—Murkfang vanished inside Maui's massive breasts.

However, they couldn't hide the putrid smell.

Byung's tense stance made her realize she was interrupting something.

She understood in a heartbeat. Instead of panic, she placed a finger on her lips.

"Shh," Lira gestured.

She didn't need to have a high IQ to know they were trying to escape and the stained clothes on the floor was proof that there was one more person here.

It must have been their friend, the one who was captured. That must be why they are here.

Lira stood, smoothing her gown.

"You're leaving. Aren't you? Rodell won't allow it. The gates are always heavily guarded," Lira revealed but this was common knowledge.

"You... won't stop us?" Byung was surprised by this because judging from his system, she wasn't loyal to him so this could very well be a trap. After all, she was chosen by Rodell himself to keep them company. Lira smiled faintly.

"Why would I? You showed me... more than this place ever did." Her cheeks flushed, remembering what just happened.

Lira glanced at the door, then back.

"I know a way."
