In the cultivation chamber within the Duskmire Vault, Ace's expression was ugly because of what happened with Marquis Kayleigh, and he had to retrieve his Avatar of Holy Twilight.
Although he was able to escape from the Lord of Law Enforcement Division, his escape route was cut off, and now he needed to figure out how to separate from his avatar before his trip to the Evernight Sanctuary.
'I should probably call Eva and give her a heads-up. Furthermore, I need to get a clear understanding of her ventures in the Abyss. Her surprise almost caused me trouble…'
Ace smiled wryly when he thought about how surprised he was when Marquis Kayleigh brought up E.V.A.
Nonetheless, he wasn't angry at Eva; instead, he felt proud of her. Since Marquis Kayleigh was wary enough of E.V.A to come out in search of her personally, it meant she had a fierce reputation in the Abyssal Plains.
'Well, at least, her fame requirement won't be a problem, and if the house members were to succeed, they'll all earn fame and profits. As for me, I'll figure out something after getting clues about that blasted Blood Moon. And I wondered when the Dread Duchess would be ready for departure. Making her leave her territory is a good thing for the house members as well…' Ace thought before he ordered the system to call Eva.
However, to his surprise, Eva didn't pick it up, which made him frown, 'Usually she picks up within three seconds…could it be she's in the middle of something. I shouldn't force a call on her then, she'll contact me when she gets the chance.'
Ace prevented the system from forcing the call and closed the house call status before entering the Thief's House space.
Right now, the only house members present in the thief's house space were Zaria, who was planning on re-cultivating with the cultivation technique in her house shop.
However, before that, she needed to earn house points to buy them, and with her current cultivation, it wasn't a problem for her to perform thieveries. So, Ace had given her Thief's Charity technique.
Other than Zaria, Eleanor, and Raven Crown were still detained within Zaria's cultivation chamber in the thief's house.
Then there were three troublemakers, Cyrus, Leah, and Chuchu; they were like free spirits. They wandered around the thief's house without any restraints, except for facilities exclusive to house members. This includes Ace's personal cultivation chamber, which can only be accessed by others when he personally enters the thief's house.
If he wasn't present, only Ace could access that place and use it as a living storage space, but he couldn't place a sentient being there, as he had already tried.
Ace also didn't take Cyrus and Chuchu back into the Primordial Beast Space because they were both happy playing with Leah, and little Leah wouldn't feel lonely with them anymore.
In fact, those three, as well as Winter's thief acolyte Birch, who appeared to be the same age and in appearance like Leah, seemed to have formed a clique and always seemed to be planning something. But if they won't cause significant troubles, Ace doesn't mind really, and it wasn't like he could let them out with their current situation.
Alina's maid, Lillian, was cultivating silently in Alina's cultivation chamber, and Ace felt that Lillian was extremely aggrieved and even glared at him fiercely, so he kept his distance.
Then there were Noa's three thief acolytes, whom Noa left behind because she wanted Thomas to train those new recruits, which Thomas was helpless to do. Still, he agreed with Noa's thinking and had no choice but to train those two sisters mercilessly, which made Ace feel slightly pity towards them, but he didn't interfere.
Lastly, there was another new member in the thief's house, and this member was very sneaky and no one could see her except for Ace; it was naturally the true spirit, Pixy!
After getting rid of the Ghost King, Ace had no time to monitor the mischievous spirit. He gave her a stern warning to avoid wasting Thief Points without his instruction, then focused on cultivating the force technique.
However, upon seeing the thief's space, Ace was shocked to find that the first level, which could only store non-living treasures, was now divided into sections, each with a name etched on it.
Like the 'Trash Section' where all treasures without a grade were discarded, there were categories like 'Mortal Grade-1', 'Mortal Grade-2', and so on. All treasures were neatly divided and arranged on shelves under glass displays.
Ace had no idea how Pixy managed to do it. Still, upon seeing all the Qi stones, spirit stones, soul crystals, and spirit crystals displayed in another section within a massive crystal display, he was shocked to discover that the crystal display was actually made from natural minerals under Ascension Grade!
Despite Ace's shock and confusion, he felt for the first time that his thief's space wasn't just a chaotic pile of storage rings, and it looked like a true treasury with all kinds of treasures.
But when Ace saw the living thief's space, his previous surprise paled in comparison to his current one because the entire living thief's space had changed entirely.
Previously, the living thief's space was nothing but open plains, few structures, some living beings, and herb fields. However, the current living thief's space was like a fortress filled with imposing structures, and the entire place was surrounded by rivers and mountains with beautiful scenery!
Ace almost thought that he had unknowingly released his law sense and was watching a prosperous city. If not for the lack of life in this small yet magnificent city, Ace would've definitely thought that he was hallucinating.
"Pixy, what did you do?"
Ace couldn't help but call for the culprit behind it all, and for some reason, he had a foreboding feeling in the back of his mind as he quickly checked his Thief Points!
