"She's gone…?" The Demon General Vulkan muttered with a curious expression.

The Succubus Rita had been placed within his castle and allowed communication between him and the High Priestess.

"Cutting communications hours after she asked about the Hobgoblins…" He scratched his chin for a moment, deep in thought, before letting out a yawn. "Hm… If I knew she was going to leave so soon, I would have tried harder to fuck her." The Demon General turned towards one of his servants. "Bring me one of the slaves, and go check up on those Hobgoblins." Vulkan said while adjusting his pants.

"Right away."

In the end, it was indeed a three-on-two fight.

The woman had disappeared, and Syl was the first to react when the huge Golem appeared in her place.

She immediately understood that the Golem and that woman had switched places, and that the appearing Golem was the one that Amon had been fighting. Because of the physical similarities between this one and the one she had fought alongside Akane, it being the one that Amon had been fighting was a fairly obvious fact.

The severe injuries all over its body proved that it was in critical shape, and Syl, as soon as it appeared, held her spear tighter and started running towards it.

The Golem was on one knee, and it was clear that some additional damage would kill it.

Akane arrived at that conclusion a moment later and extended her left arm towards the Golem, aiming to burn and turn it to ash.

However,

"Tsk." Syl clicked her tongue as pinkish silvery threads descended from above and wrapped around the tree trunks standing in Syl's way, forming a barrier separating her from the Golem and forbidding her from advancing further.

Just when Akane was about to attack,

"Not so fast." Rika smirked, her hand powerfully taking hold of Akane's wrist.

The stream of flames was shot upwards as Rika forcefully raised the Fox's arm.

"What do you want?" Akane asked menacingly as more flames left her body, forcing Rika to jump back.

"Phew." The latter whistled with a smile. "Pretty hot."

Akane stared at the dark-haired Demon with annoyed, narrow eyes. "Those Humans are dead."

"They sure are." Rika said as her feet landed on the ground.

"Why are you after me, then?"

Rika's hand moved to her nape. She stretched her neck silently for a bit.

'I guess I'm not entirely against talking.' Rika thought. 'We're here to capture the Fox. Since we've been called, that means she has finally located Azaroth's Heart. We can talk while Rita deals with the Hobgoblin, right?' The Succubus tilted her head, unsure. 'Capturing the Fox with Rita would be easier.' She nodded to herself. 'Hm…'

Meanwhile, Akane's eyes studied her opponent's body carefully.

The Demon's muscles were just as developed as Syl's, but the Demon was stronger.

Akane could tell from the moment her wrist had been grabbed.

While Syl's muscles were hard-earned through years of training and fighting, Demons didn't have to go through all that to get even better results.

'She might even be stronger than me.' Akane thought to herself. 'But I must be faster. Do I go past her and attack the Golem? Do I run away and join Syl?'

The two had been separated.

'That bitch!' Syl thought to herself, thinking about the High Priestess. 'She gave them a nod just before disappearing-'

Threads were swung and approached the tree trunk to Syl's left, It was instantly cut in two as if it were a block of butter, and quickly approached her body.

She crouched at the right time, and the three thin silvery threads passed over her.

'She purposefully matched the musclehead with Akane and the mage with me! The fucking bitch!' Syl ran forward, and the threads were swung towards her knees, forcing her to jump back. 'I can't close the distance at all!'

'Impressive.' The purple-haired Demon thought to herself. 'She shouldn't be fast enough to dodge my threads. Even Rika has trouble doing so.' Rita's face was completely emotionless as she swung her hands and fingers, controlling her threads precisely. 'She doesn't look away from me. It took her less than a couple of seconds to realize that the movement of my threads depends entirely on my hand and finger movements. Even then, my threads are almost weightless and moved practically in sync with my fingers.'

"You… Bitch!" Syl cursed as she dodged another attack.

'Her reaction speed is top-notch. Too bad she doesn't have the body to match it and utilize that reaction speed properly. Well, she is just a Hobgoblin after all…'

Meanwhile, the High Priestess' bare feet kissed the ground, and her hands descended upon Amon's shoulders. The momentum caused her to crash into him, but that wasn't enough to make him budge.

With her hands on his shoulders, she was certain that victory was hers.

The High Priestess let herself rest against him, her breasts pushing against his body, her chin lying on his clavicle bone, and her-

'...?'

Her eyes suddenly opened wide as chills and shivers ran along her entire body. The hands she had laid on his shoulders slowly curled.

With her chin on his clavicle bone, her nose was only an inch away from his neck.

"Aahh…!" The High Priestess moaned without meaning to.

Feeling the scent so closely was too intense a sensation for her. The pleasure and euphoria mixed with confusion. At this distance, she should be able to locate Azaroth's Heart. It should be Azaroth's Heart that is exuding the heavenly scent of hell's infinite corruption, and not the one holding it. Even if he might be able to use it, he and Azaroth's Heart cannot smell as one, cannot be one.

The High Priestess suddenly felt her eyelids twitch, her lips quiver, and her entire body heat up.

Her knees bent inwards, pushing against one another. The scent was just too much to handle.

The pleasure, the euphoria, the longing, the anticipation… From one moment to the next, he would fall as a decrepit corpse, and only Azaroth's Heart would remain with her-

"Well," Amon said, pulling back slightly. "It's nice to meet you."

"...?!"

"Someone who isn't blind to my charms, finally."
