The Reborn Demon King Girl

Chapter 16: Eavesdropping the Lonely Girl

"Mr. Doro, don't you want to come over?"

Doro watched several girls, each wrapped in bath towels, sitting on stones beside the hot spring, waving at him, and he felt his nerves being constantly triggered.

Only Rastina had a "this isn't right, is it?" expression, then anxiously whispered something to Mohe.

"Don't be so nervous, Miss Rastina. Mr. Doro is a trustworthy person, he won't act rashly... Besides, if he wanted to do something like that, let's not even mention the so-called companionship services here, it probably wouldn't be your turn~"

Rastina froze on the spot, feeling the need to ponder the deeper meaning behind Mohe's words.

"Mr. Doro! Everyone is waiting for you~ I won't say anything if you don't want to enjoy yourself, but spoiling everyone's mood isn't good, right?" Mohe kept stirring the water with her alabaster toes, "Is Mr. Doro this cruel? Or does Mr. Doro lack confidence, fearing an embarrassing reaction?"

The smile on the girl's face could only be described as "malicious": "Ah... Sorry! Mr. Doro! I forgot one possibility! Boys can indeed be self-conscious about these things occasionally! But Mr. Doro, you don't have to worry; some things are innate. I've heard muscles can be trained with effort, but that grandness can only rely on talent! Mr. Doro, there's no need to feel ashamed!"

Whether it's eighteen-year-old A·Gedora, or thirty-something Doro — no man could endure such humiliation from Mohe.

"There's no need to avoid treatment if you're worried! I know a few methods that can work in that area! If you really feel self-conscious, I'll prepare some medications afterward to help..."

Doro tied the bath towel around his waist and entered the hot spring.

"Wow~ Mr. Doro! Such magnificent muscles~"

Mohe feigned praise as she smoothly slipped into the water like an agile fish.

The other girls also went into the water one after the other.

Of course, the girls each had different postures.

For example, Lisidorwei and Rose seemed to be competing in beauty, though wrapped in towels, they seemed intentionally to reveal something if looked closely. Moreover, though the hot spring's depth allowed it, these two deliberately didn't fully immerse themselves, purposefully using the water's buoyancy to accentuate their proud features.

By contrast, Rastina seemed determined to submerge herself completely, even wanting to find a stone to hide.

Naturally, only Mohe, with her petite figure, could treat the hot spring as a pool to swim in.

Having been provoked by Mohe and arriving here, Doro simply relaxed, calmly observing the girls, earnestly appreciating the beauty before him and couldn't help but exclaim: "Truly breathtaking, I perhaps should gratefully acknowledge the will of the deities."

"You're really something, Mr. Doro, when you should thank me instead, right? After all, it's my money being spent."

"Oh, you're right, Mohe. But aren't you also a devout believer in the divine?"

"If Mr. Doro insists on saying so, then yes, indeed."

This conversation ended without further ado. Realizing Doro truly wouldn't misbehave, the girls gradually became more comfortable.

The great Demon King could even blend into discussions about girl's accessories, and later, they pulled Doro into conversations about Rastina's fiancé, what kind of person the young Count was, and the Duke family's influence. Doro shared some opinions then.

Overall, it was a pleasant hot spring experience without any weird incidents. Mohe seemed not to incite the girls to do something to Doro either.

This led Doro, who'd been vigilant since shopping, to relax considerably. Perhaps Mohe's intention was merely to show him the Alchemy Dolls, to make him ponder the Gargoyle matters... Speaking of which, Rastina didn't seem too concerned about this? Having a few Gargoyles within the Gold-Seeking Commerce Association wouldn't be surprising, after all, this species wasn't extinct initially, though it dwindles with time.

Provided that Mohe and Lisidorwei did not create new Gargoyles.

After everyone fell asleep—Mohe abruptly sat up from bed and cast a Silence magic on herself. She carefully controlled her magic power fluctuations, making it so even A·Gedora wouldn't notice much.

She changed her clothes and quietly left the inn.

Several seconds after she left, Doro likewise stepped out of the inn.

Sure enough, Mohe's intentions were not straightforward… Doro had planned to sleep but felt uneasy without knowing why. As a strong individual, or perhaps due to his Hero's intuition, he sensed something unusual was bound to happen, and he couldn't truly relax.

Mohe's intentions were absolutely not straightforward.

He didn't initially expect any findings, given Mohe's caution; if she had plans, she'd certainly execute them under legitimate pretenses… But Mohe secretly left the inn.

This discovery greatly shocked Doro. For Mohe, it was undoubtedly a risky endeavor, yet she chose to do it at such risk—why?
