Xior's body was overrun by ecstasy, Acheron sucked his blood for who knows how long. But as the poison of her fangs entered his body, he saw the glimpses of her past.
She was a princess of the Voltaris Empire who had been through a lot, lost her mother at a young age, developed a love for blood and eventually was tortured for it and then kidnapped where her mind broke and she went wild.
She was thrown into the Abyss to survive alone, with cuffs built out of the holy power the Voltaris Empire's rulers possessed.
He felt pity for her, she was just a kid and had to suffer that much. He remembered his own childhood, but hers was much worse.
He was fifteen…she was eight. She was so young yet she was hated that much. Unknowingly tears formed in his eyes. In a way she was like him, but much worse, that made him want to know her and help her.
He never cried apart from two instances, when he vented to Alice and when his parents didn't come back from the Tower.
He had become numb to sadness, happiness and other emotions but it didn't mean he didn't have any. He was a child who lost the world, lost his parents and eventually lost himself.
As the tears flowed down his face, he looked at the ceiling of the mansion while she feasted on his blood.
It was the finest blood she had tasted, it also carried the scent and smell of the blood she loved the most.
Rich in Abyssal mana, it would give her some strength back. Xior's tensed muscles relaxed as Acheron's tense and weak body also relaxed and felt better than before.
She was done and raised her head to look at Xior's face, his blood dripping down on his chest from the side of her mouth. Her red eyes shimmered as they reflected the light.
A slight rubor was on Xior's cheeks and he felt out of breath. "You look pretty drained human." She said as she cupped his cheek.
She lowered her head, it was so close to his that she could easily kiss him, but she just sniffed his face. "Your scent…it's familiar." She said and slightly licked his cheek.
"Oh and taste too. Charred and perfect." She said with a mischievous grin and raised her head still sitting on his chest.
"So, what now? How do I free you from this prison.?" Xior asked, still breathing slightly heavy.
"You claimed to set me free and you don't even know a way? I don't know if you're a fool who jumps into situations without thinking ahead or just very over confident." She smirked and replied to him.
"I'm neither over confident, I know my limits and I always strive to become stronger and nor am I a self righteous white knight fool. The Abyss taught me to make myself my priority over others and what I said was for me to find a way out of here."
She studied his face, how the muscles twitched as he spoke. She easily discerned that he was somewhat lying. He is not one to be selfish only…he's selfishly selfless.
"The Abyss?" She tilted her head at his declaration. "You know about the Abyss despite being a human." She said and paused, now she understood why her blood tasted similar to someone else and his scent as well.
"I was trapped in there for five years, betrayed by the party who were raiding the Gate as it turned out to be a Gate which led into the Entrance of the Abyss." He replied
She finally got off of his chest and walked around slowly. "And you survived? Tell me did you meet a man with a black armor jagged at the edges?" She asked him and grabbed his hands.
"Yes, he was the reason I am alive but I lost consciousness so I don't know where he went. I'm sorry if he was someone close to you." He comforted her.
It all connected for her, the scent and the taste were too familiar to be the same person but could it have been that the man she pursued had mixed with Xior, forming something.
"I know a way to free me from this coffin." She declared.
"And what is it?" He asked and got up from the ground.
"You will have to make a blood pact with me, that means I'll get to drink that delicious Abyssal blood of yours and suck that Abyssal mana. We'll share a bond deeper than other pacts as it is a pact of blood." She said and cut her palm with her hand.
"Open wide!"
Xior opened his mouth and lowered his body, enough for Acheron to drop the blood into his mouth.
One drop, two drops, three drops, four drops, that was the amount of blood he took in from Acheron's hand.
Suddenly his body felt stronger and light. Xior gulped down the blood, his eyes shone red and they changed from their previous color to something new.
It was a dark red, just like Acheron's, she looked happy seeing his body react to her blood and venom earlier.
"There you have it, our Blood Pact is done." She said and sat on the throne again.
She had been in captivity for a millennia, but this was a god given chance for her to end this useless cycle of hatred and have her revenge against the ones who called her mother and caused all of this.
She doubted Xior at first, thinking he was the average human male who was full of himself and stupid that he barged into this place.
But then his actions proved her wrong, a red light enveloped the whole room. Her body transformed and became a ring, a black ring with red accents on the sides.
Xior slid it inside his finger, it fit him perfectly. With this he could bypass the restrictive runes which made it so she couldn't escape.
