One of the mid-stage disciples smirked after listening to that, "The fact that you have a higher cultivation realm means only one thing, that you joined this sect earlier than us. It didn't mean that you are a genius.

See, even the sect didn't think disciples like you are worth wasting resources for. Man, if I were you, I would have quit the sect and lived like a hermit in some mortal kingdoms."

The mid-stage disciple wasn't afraid of the peak-stage disciple. Unlike him, he had been given a chance to enter the inheritance site, and if everything went well, then he would come out as a peak-stage Core Formation realm cultivator too.

The peak-stage disciple gritted his teeth in a fit of anger but didn't lash out. Right now, there was a big spirit ship floating above the square. It was the ship which would be used to travel to the inheritance site.

On the ship, Sect Elder Yan Lihua was present. She was overseeing the whole square right now, and if he made any stupid move, then he would be punished immediately.

"Alright, I hope everyone has seen their names on the list. Those whose names are mentioned in the list should stay in the square, and others leave right now. Make sure to not pull any funny moves, or I will directly kill them," Yan Lihua spoke as the time of departure was coming close.

The disciples knew she wasn't someone to throw empty threats, so those who didn't have their names on the list immediately left.

"Have you seen the name of senior brother Lin? He is also going with us..." An early-stage Core Formation cultivator who had just broken through using pills brought by Lin Feng spoke.

"Indeed, I saw that. Why is senior brother going though? It will be dangerous inside," his friend responded.

Indeed, it was dangerous inside. No matter what, there were a total of 2,000 cultivators going to the inheritance site. Most inheritance sites had a rule of sending cultivators randomly to different places, which meant in the start, you were on your own.

The first Void Tribulation was very small compared to the last Void Tribulation which let you reach the Heaven Ascension realm.

After finding that out, Lin Feng was about to go to the inner sect when Elder Gao stopped him. She said that she would accompany him. There was no need to rush early.

So right now, they were standing on the cliff while looking towards the mountain of the inner sect where a spirit boat was floating.

Due to its size, it was easily visible. A lot of spirit stones must be used right now to keep that spirit boat in the air right now, but status was very important for a sect like theirs, so they would not mind using spirit stones to flaunt it.

On the spirit ship, Yan Lihua looked at the disciples who were left in the square. She could easily count them with a single glance, and they were exactly 499.

The moment the spirit ship started to move, Lin Feng and Gao Ling arrived in the main chamber where Yan Lihua was sitting.
