Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1142: Hunting More

After getting sneaked attacked by that golden crowned genius, Max had decided to enter the deepest parts of the forest so as to encounter more of these strange beasts.

Days passed just like that. He would often encounter three or five strange beasts if he were lucky otherwise the numbers were only one and two. They were present in the forest but at the outer edges, they were pitifully rare.

Half a month passed just like that as Max finally made it into the deep corner of the forest.

The moment Max stepped into the heart of the glowing forest, the atmosphere shifted. The tranquil hum of spatial energy turned sharp, vibrating with a low, hostile rhythm. The blue leaves rustled violently, and the pink trunks trembled faintly as the air around Max began to distort.

From all directions, faint ripples appeared in space—one after another—until dozens of them surrounded him completely. Max's eyes lifted slowly, scanning the area with calm precision.

Then, from those ripples, the beasts emerged.

Their bodies were long and slender, coated in silvery-blue fur that shimmered faintly under the forest's light. Each creature had six legs ending in sharp claws and two curved tendrils extending from their backs that vibrated with condensed spatial energy. Their eyes glowed white, cold and emotionless.

There were tens of them, their presence merging into one pulsating wave of power that would terrify any ordinary genius. But to Max, it was nothing more than background noise.

A slow grin crept across his face. "Peak Mythic Rank… not even one Divine Rank among them," he murmured, his tone almost disappointed. "You all came here to die, then."

The beasts snarled in unison, their forms flickering in and out of sight. The air rippled violently as they vanished, using short-range spatial jumps to strike from all angles. Their speed was terrifying—enough to tear apart an army of Mythic Rank cultivators within seconds.

But Max didn't move. He simply closed his eyes for a moment and exhaled softly. "Storm King's Inheritance… Extreme Speed."

Red lightning erupted from his body in a burst of light. The forest illuminated with the storm-like glow, the surrounding air screaming under the pressure of his power. Then, before any of the beasts could land a hit, Max disappeared.

In the next instant, he was everywhere.

Red lightning flashed from one point to another, each flicker accompanied by a wet sound of impact and the faint crack of shattered space. Max's movements were so fast that the beasts didn't even realize what was happening. Their claws tore through empty air, their tendrils slicing nothing but fading afterimages.

"Second Level Concept of Space—Spatial Anchoring!"

His voice echoed faintly through the forest as invisible threads of space stretched outward, solidifying the air. The movements of the beasts froze for a split second—their teleportation halted mid-jump, their claws suspended unnaturally.

Max reappeared behind one of them, red lightning still flashing across his form. His right arm trembled faintly, gathering destructive lightning that crackled and flared in all directions.

"Heaven's Wraith."

The words fell like a divine judgment.

He swung his arm, and an arc of red lightning shot out, twisting violently as it tore through the air. The blast was silent—too fast to be heard—but the aftermath was not. A thunderous explosion tore through the clearing as every beast caught in its path was annihilated. Their bodies disintegrated instantly, shredded into light particles that drifted into the glowing air.

The beasts that had escaped the initial strike screeched in fury, flickering rapidly in space to reposition for another attack. But every time they moved, Max's spatial restrictions slowed them just enough for his lightning to catch up.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Explosions echoed again and again as red and blue lightning illuminated the strange forest, shaking its foundation. Every flash marked the death of another beast.

Within seconds, the air was filled with nothing but the faint scent of burned energy and the silent hum of space stabilizing itself.

The last beast tried to flee, blinking through space in desperation. But Max appeared before it, his eyes glowing with violet light.

"Too slow."

He clenched his hand, and the surrounding space folded inward, crushing the creature into nothingness. The distorted air shimmered for a moment before falling silent again.

Max straightened his posture and looked around. Not a single trace of the beasts remained—no corpses, no energy residue, only a faint ripple where they had perished.

He took a slow breath, feeling the familiar hum of spatial power flowing through his veins. It was different this time—sharper, smoother, alive.

'My control… it's evolving again,' he thought, his eyes narrowing slightly. The fight had sharpened his senses even further. His grasp of the spatial veins in this forest was now absolute. He could feel every current of power around him, every breath of movement, every fluctuation in reality.

Blob's voice resonated faintly in his mind. "You're refining it faster than ever, Max. Your synchronization with the Concept of Space is almost unnatural now."

Max smiled faintly. "It's because this entire forest is made of it. The space here breathes. It lives. The more I fight, the more I understand its rhythm."

He extended his hand, and the air twisted obediently, bending to his will. The fabric of space shimmered faintly, stable yet flowing with his touch.

He clenched his fist, and the distortion vanished instantly, returning to calm perfection.

"Good," Max said softly. "If this continues, the fourth level of the Concept of Space won't be too far away."

With that, he turned and began walking deeper into the heart of the forest, his steps silent yet leaving ripples in space wherever he went.

Max's steps carried him deeper into the glowing forest where the pink trunks grew thicker and the blue leaves dimmed until only faint traces of light flickered through the branches. The silence of the place was deceptive.

He could feel countless distortions in the air, small irregularities where space folded against itself like ripples on glass. Each time one of those distortions shivered, another of the strange beasts appeared.

They came in small groups at first—two or three at a time—each creature flickering through space like a phantom. They attacked from all angles, their bodies bending and reforming as if they were made from fragments of the void itself.

Max met every ambush without fear. His body blurred with blue lightning as he vanished and reappeared between them, his sword flashing with precision. Every cut tore through the unstable air, leaving behind faint arcs of silver light.
