" He's finally coming out?" Rugard who was leaning quietly beside a cart, suddenly perked up.

The spider web like cracks continued to spread and spread until the entire dark sphere resembled a fractured brittle mould of glass which shattered the next moment. The shattered pieces dispersed in the air before they could hit anyone but the instant they vanished, everyone got a clearer view of the figure that was finally visible.

Su Pings stature had decreased to 2 meters from 2.5 meters tall, yet his draconian features looked more prominent and stunning to the eye's, especially his Dark Dragon Eyes that seemed to have the faint outline of a pattern emerging within them. But if ones sight wasn't superb, they wouldn't be able to notice it.

All his stats had doubled, besides his will stats that only increased by 1000 points.

Unlike before, Su Ping appeared less muscular, his figure instead looked chiseled, as if his muscles had been forcefully compressed. At the same time, he felt even more power coursing through his veins.

The barrier he felt when he first broke through to Lvl 2 was now more discernable as if one of his feet had truly passed the door and stepped into overlord tier yet at the same time, he felt as if that feet wasn't as stable as it seemed, as if it could lose its balance or move further, an unstable realm of strength.

Rugard stared at the demons in surprise, if he didn't know any better, he would've thought that the figure Infront of him was a lizardman instead but Su Ping's horns which were slowly starting to resemble a crown atop his head, told him otherwise.

" I'm sorry, did daddy keep you all waiting." Su Ping walked over to Melinda and the kids. When he saw the faint dark bags beneath his wife's beautiful face, his heart ached a bit.

" Daddy's sorry for making mommy worry so much." Su Ping whispered into Melinda's ears, making her tremble slightly from his hot breath which brushed against her skin.

Melinda's head tilted upwards to stare at her husband with a look of surprise but she was caught off guard when Su Pings fingers gently placed some strands of hair blocking her eyes, behind her ear. Before he kissed her on her forehead.

" Since daddy's at fault, how about daddy makes it up to everyone." Su Ping smiled at Mel and Sal who grinned happily at their father.

" Darling..." Melinda's face turned rosy when Su Ping lifted her into a princess carry out of the blue.

" Don't say another word, You need to rest." Su Ping carried Melinda into the tent before placing her down and wrapping her with some warm blankets to keep out the morning cold.

" I know my wife is hardworking but just for today, let me be the one to take care of you."

" But darling... I'm not tired. Let me show you, I can still prepare breakfast." Melinda tried getting up but Su Ping gently pressed her back down before lifting Mel and Sal, he then placed them in their mother's lap.

" Fine, I'll believe you but, at least let me prepare breakfast, this time around." Su Ping said , Melinda pursed her lips but eventually nodded when she realized that her husband wouldn't let her go unless she gave in to his care.

Su Ping smiled happily when he saw her answer, he then turned towards the kids.

" I need the both of you watch over your mommy while daddy prepares breakfast, can the two of you do it."

" Yayy! Daddy's making breakfast." Mel said with barley controlled excitement.

" Mel, daddy asked us for a favour." Sal pouted at his younger sister.

" But isn't daddy making breakfast?"

" Yes, but..."

Seeing his two children squabble like ducklings, Su Ping chuckled to himself before stepping out of the cart.

" Need any help?" Rugard walked over with a smile.

" Guess not..." Rugard didn't even get close before he felt two unfriendly gazes pined on him, one from Su Ping and the other from Melinda.

Su Ping knew where each type of food ingredients, utensils and kitchen equipment, were in each carts, so he quickly grabbed them and got to cooking. For the fire, that was the easiest part, after all, he was non other than a literal Dragon with the bloodline of the Dark Dragon King.

Melinda watched on with a worried look, she had never known her husband to be good at cooking yet she couldn't refuse him when he was so eager to help her.

Her expression soon turned from skeptical to surprise and from surprised to amazed. Su Ping had lived on his own before his reincarnation, besides being a drug trafficker, he was also a pretty talented cook, himself, having honed his skills through countless days alone but, this time he decided to make something simple that the kids would love.

" Your kidding me... This delectable aroma was actually made by him?"

When the aroma of the freshly made meal filled the air, even Rugard who wasn't paying attention at first was instantly drawn in.

' I'm not aware of what usually passes of for food in this world but I'm sure what I made shouldn't be too different from what they're used to, after all, both our worlds have lots of similarities.' Su Ping shared the bacon and scrambled eggs he had just prepared.

" Take it before it gets cold." Su Ping placed a serving at the edge of the cart before calling Rugard over, who was leaning on one of the carts.Su Ping then carried two large servings of food and headed towards his wife and kids.
