An invisible dome spanned outwards, capturing Aiden and the creature within it. With that, they both became nonexistent and invisible to the outside world.
Due to the fact that within the dome was a different space separated from the real world, the time stopping skill of the dragon didn't affect the Malgia anymore, and time flow had resumed normally for it.
Aiden, who held it by the neck, then flung it away to the far side, and after that he began cracking his knuckles.
The despicable looking creature with grey skin and twisted horns looked flustered and confused as to how Aiden had managed to catch up to it.
It attempted to cast the landscape altering magic that it had been using to change positions, but nothing happened.
"Any ground within this dome doesn't count as being under your territory anymore, so I'm very much certain you cannot run away from me anymore."
The Malgia gritted its teeth after hearing what Aiden said, then slowly it started to back away as it saw Aiden slowly take steps towards it.
"I could just as easily end your existence, but what fun would that be, eh?" Aiden said with a grin that appeared on his face.
Instantly and without warning, he appeared in front of the monster using his space teleportation skill, void step.
With his clenched fist already in motion, he delivered a punch to the monster's face that cracked the bones of its skull whilst sending it flying and bashing into a wall.
And without giving it any space to recover, Aiden teleported right in front of it again right after its body had carved into the wall, delivering several more punches to its gut.
Each punch made it spill bluish looking blood whilst further causing more cracks on the thick walls.
Then he stepped back with a grin on his face, allowing the monster to fall helplessly to the ground.
Aiden said, "Come on, fight back a little bit, okay?" Then he made a beckoning gesture at the monster with his index finger.
He taunted the monster to provoke it into action, and it worked. The monster, whose breathing became irregular with bluish blood around its face, immediately pulled out a short blade strapped to its side.
It stretched the hand holding the short blade towards Aiden and bared its teeth open, making a sound that sounded like a growl.
With an aggravated roar, and in a last attempt to fight back before it died, the Malgia dashed towards Aiden with the blade, closing the distance in a single leap.
It made an attempt to cut past him several times, but Aiden only kept moving from side to side swiftly to avoid the blade's reach.
Then one time the blade made for a reach again, Aiden, with a grin on his face, chose to stop moving and made his body become intangible.
The sword passed through his body, dealing exactly no damage, which left the creature with a shocked expression on its face.
[Space Authority: Phasing]
Aiden quickly repositioned himself after the failed attempt by the Malgia, and then made a diagonal swiping motion of his right hand.
This swiping motion slashed through the very space the creature stood on, cleaving the Malgia and everything behind it in half, ultimately leaving a spatial cut on the fabric of reality.
[Space Authority: Severance]
The monster split into halves and fell to the ground.
And that was it. The Dungeon Lord of the S-Rank Dungeon had been defeated.
-----
On the part of the room where Cronyssia was at, most of her body had disintegrated slowly into fragments of sparkling light.
"I'll leave you with these, as parting gifts," she said with a smile on her face before the rest of her body disintegrated into fragments of light.
-----
When Cronyssia disappeared from the dungeon, the flow of time returned to normal, and so did every other thing within the dungeon.
Although his avatars started disappearing in quick succession seeing as their end goal had already been achieved.
[You have successfully completed all quests]
[You have received gifts from Cronyssia's Time Variant]
[You have more than 10 other notifications, most of which are rewards, to look into]
Seeing that second system prompt put a smile on his face.
Additionally, the system had highlighted the spilled blood of the Malgia. This was his Collector skill which automatically highlighted things of worthy value.
[Blood Of A Malgia → Super Rare Value (SR)]
"That's fine and all, but how exactly do you suggest putting blood inside the inventory?" Aiden asked the system, making a weird face.
[The Inventory will provide you with necessary methods to store materials]
At that point, empty potion bottles appeared before him and floated into his outstretched palm.
He smiled and shook his head, then set the empty bottles on the ground.
Using the force spell, he telekinetically made the cork stoppers covering the lids of the bottle float upwards.
Then he used the same force spell on the blood spilled all over, and slowly the bluish liquid floated into the bottles. He returned the cork stoppers to seal the lids and then automatically sent it back into the inventory.
A new system notification popped up.
[You have necessary materials to forge a formidable weapon]
[The system will make you different weapon suggestions which the available materials will be able to forge]
"That's delightful, but hold off on that. We need to leave the dungeon first."
The system gave no further replies, and then Aiden looked towards the dead body of the Malgia, with its short blade lying beside it.
The system showed no value for the blade, but he instinctively just wanted it as a spoil of battle, so he made it float into his grip and afterwards sent it into his inventory.
He then made the creature's body float right behind him as he walked towards his guild members who may have started searching for him.
-----
Not long after, Aiden came face to face with them, and both Arianna and Laela, who had worried looks on their faces, immediately brightened up with smiles.
"Explain yourself," Katherine demanded with an annoyed look on her face. Storming off like that made her worried as well.
"I'm sorry, Captain," Aiden said with an awkward smile whilst scratching the back of his head. Then he made a gesture with his fingers, and the body of the dead monster floating behind him then moved over in front of the Captain.
"This was the Dungeon's Lord, and I believe any moment now, the dungeon should start closing," Aiden said, making the floating body now fall in front of the captain.
"Pfft!" Kayden mouthed off, expressing his contempt.
And just like Aiden said, the dungeon started rumbling.
Katherine sighed and shook her head amusingly. Then she turned towards the opposite direction and said:
"Let's get out of here."
