Katherine walked over to Aiden after his avatar had brought in the last of the guild members. She began, "Aiden, darling, I can't begin to thank you enough. Perhaps when we all return back to the guild."
Then she turned to everyone else and said, "Alright members of Ravens Grave, we still have to find the Dungeon Lord of this dungeon and end it."
The murmurs and chatter went down a good notch after they heard the voice of the Captain.
"About that, I already found where the Malgia is," Aiden said with that grin on his face.
In fact, he found out a while back.
The avatars had flooded most parts of the dungeon, and at some point, one of them had seen the creature.
But that only lasted a moment as the Malgia immediately altered the landscape again, moving itself away from the avatar's range.
Unfortunately for the creature, in almost every place it changed its location to, there was an avatar who spotted it.
And if there wasn't an avatar who spotted it at once, then there would be an avatar that eventually arrived at its current position range.
Some part of Aiden actually enjoyed the chase. It felt like watching a prey scamper in different directions in a futile attempt to run from a predator.
"Where is the dungeon lord then?" Katherine asked, eager to go fight it and bring an end to the dungeon.
Aiden then explained to the Captain the Malgia's ability to alter the landscape of its territory, which is why it was easy to pin it down instantly.
"Hm, this is by far one of the most difficult S-rank dungeons I've ever dealt with," Katherine said as she considered the current situation.
Just as Aiden was about to tender a reply to the Captain, he stopped abruptly and his eyes widened with shock as he had seen something totally unexpected.
Rather, one of his avatars in a distant room within the dungeon had seen something unexpected, and because they shared a hive mind, the same view reflected for the original Aiden.
"Is that…?" He was about to ask the question in his thought when the system interjected with an answer, knowing what his question was going to be.
[Yes, that is the Dragon of Time, Cronyssia]
-----
Earlier, his avatars had continued to duplicate and walk different paths in the dungeon, when one of them had reached the far end of the dungeon.
He stepped into the room, and the sight of what he saw was both marveling and uncomfortable.
It was a petite lady lying on the floor with an attractive and delicate build. She had black horns with tints of white on them and a dragon-like tail of black and white.
She was sleeping and was entirely naked while doing that.
The scent, the scales, the tail, there was absolutely no mistaking it, especially as he had seen something similar before with Syra.
-----
"Hey… Aiden, what is it?" Katherine called out as it looked as if Aiden had stared into the blank for a second.
"I'm sorry, Captain, I have to go for a moment," Aiden said.
"Where…" before Katherine could ask the question completely, Aiden had disappeared from the scene using transport magic.
Katherine placed her palm on her forehead in frustration and shook her head.
-----
Aiden had teleported and appeared right beside his avatar. Then the duplicate disappeared afterwards.
It was the first time he was meeting another dragon besides Syra, and frankly he had questions.
Questions the system had no answers to at all or could not give an answer to by reason of his level.
Cronyssia's nose made a sniffing sound twice.
'Sniff sniff.'
And without opening her eyes, she said in a cute petite voice, "I smell a dragon."
Then her eyes opened up, and they looked very similar to Aiden's dragon's eyes. She then made her body float, and whilst midair, she repositioned herself to stare down at Aiden.
Slowly and gently, her feet returned to the ground.
"Uh… do you mind?" Aiden said, pointing to her body whilst moving his face away from her naked body.
She looked at herself and wondered what he was pointing at before she suddenly realized and said, "Oh?" Then snapped her fingers.
Instantly, her body was clothed in a black dress that had silver armor coverings. The black dress had a slit revealing her legs, and she had armored coverings on her leg.
She looked like an adorable princess in knight's clothing.
When Aiden realized she was now covered in clothing, he turned back towards her and said, "What the Malgia said about my kind, I didn't think I would be seeing a person with the powers of a dragon here."
"Why do you smell like Thyrak?" Cronyssia asked, slightly tilting her head and looking at him weirdly. She had totally ignored the first set of words Aiden uttered.
Aiden looked somewhat confused but also understood the dragon of time to an extent. "Well, I'm not the great black dragon, or at least not fully, yet."
He then proceeded to explain that he possessed a system that grants him Thyrak's three authorities which he named, then also said that he assumed Cronyssia also had a system similar to him which made her become the dragon of time.
The moment he mentioned having a system which would slowly make him become the Black Dragon, she immediately understood why Aiden had carried the scent of Thyrak.
Although she went on to reply, "Hm… if Thyrak now possesses the authorities of Keyles and Veyqorin, then it only means one thing. They are both dead."
Then she thought to herself, "So they never survived those wounds." She clicked her tongue in frustration, and her face immediately took on a sad expression.
From what Cronyssia just said, Aiden immediately understood that Keyles and Veyqorin were the names of other dragons originally in possession of two authorities that Thyrak wasn't meant to have at first.
However, he had no idea which one belonged to which, and so he went to ask, "Can I ask which…"
"…Which authorities belong to what dragon." Cronyssia had stolen the words right out of his mouth.
"How…" Aiden was going to ask how she knew, and once again Cronyssia stole the words right out of his mouth again, "And how do I know you were to ask that?"
"Heh," she smirked a bit then said, "Because a few seconds ago, I started looking into the future of our conversation. So for every word you'll utter and every single question you'll ask, I would have already known they were coming."
Aiden listened in total astonishment.
"And so to answer your question, Keyles was the name of the Dragon of Replication, and Veyqorin was the name for the Dragon of Space."
Then Aiden added, "Which means Thyrak was originally the dragon of destruction."
Cronyssia simply nodded in agreement to the statement. Then continued, "Although you have made one wrong assumption. When one mentions The System, you can only accustom a single dragon to such."
She raised her right index finger to buttress her point, then continued.
"Of all my siblings, only Thyrak ever wished to stop his continued existence in the flesh and chose to carry on with living as an essence within the bodies of lesser creatures. The System was meant to slowly stabilize the great power his essence carried, so that creatures he chose may be able to withstand that great force without breaking."
Aiden looked further astonished with her words, and they only intrigued him further.
She continued, "So, even though I am only but a time variant of my true self, I who stand before you am the eldest of the seven, and my very existence has always been."
"I don't understand. A time variant?" Aiden looked so puzzled with that line of sentence.
Then Cronyssia answered:
"Yes, a time variant. While I am in truth Cronyssia, I am not of the present. I am simply a version of me summoned from a previously lived timeline in the past."
