Chapter 124: Main spire.

(A/N Big thanks to everyone for the Power stones and Golden tickets, they mean a lot. As usual, please don't hesitate to comment or drop a review. ENJOY)

Power stones people, Gimme it.

Mini Rhaena drifted deeper into the holographic Main Spire, the lights shifting around her as she pointed at the first glowing floor. Rhaena's voice carried easily across the silent hall, guiding the students while her miniature counterpart provided the visuals.

"Now," Rhaena said, "let's keep things simple. The Main Spire is divided into ten floors. Each floor has its own function, its own rules, and in most cases, its own spatial link to other dimensions entirely. Every single one of these layers is connected through stabilized spatial runes placed throughout the building."

Mini Rhaena descended and hovered beside the image of the first floor. A soft circle of light highlighted the orientation hall they currently sat in.

"This floor," Rhaena said, "is where you are now—the Orientation Building. Its one job is to welcome new students. That's it. You won't have classes here, exams here, or any reason to linger unless you enjoy watching other first-years panic."

A few chuckles rose from the crowd.

"Also located on the first floor is the reception," she continued. "That's where you'll go if you have issues the academy allows receptionists to solve. Not everything, of course—some problems are above their clearance. But they're there to help, and they don't bite, so don't be shy."

Mini Rhaena flew sideways, tapping a shimmering circular arena that appeared beside the reception.

"And here," Rhaena said, "is Coliseum One. The smallest of the academy's coliseums and the one where you were brought for your trial. It's mostly used for announcements, challenges, and low-level public matches. There are more coliseums—bigger ones—but you'll see them another time."

Mini Rhaena dramatically bowed to the holographic coliseum before shooting upward.

"On to the second floor."

The hologram shifted and expanded into a wide, bustling level filled with long tables, glowing screens, floating menus, and bright lounges.

"The second floor is the cafeteria and lounge area," Rhaena said. "There's not much for me to explain here—it's exactly what it sounds like. A place to eat, relax, and unintentionally judge other people's dietary choices."

Several students laughed.

"However, do note that the cafeteria and lounge come in tiers. Some sections are fancy. Very fancy. Some are… not." She shrugged. "It depends on your budget and your preferences. You'll figure out your spots eventually."

Mini Rhaena pretended to sip a floating drink before zipping up again.

"Now things get more relevant for all of you."

The hologram smoothly transitioned to the third floor. Rows of long halls appeared, each lined with dozens of spatial sigils.

"This," Rhaena said, "is your floor. The third floor houses first-year students. The fourth holds second-years, fifth holds third-years, and sixth holds fourth-years. So the higher the year, the higher the floor."

Mini Rhaena zoomed through the halls, pointing at glowing doors arranged in neat lines.

"You have forty-one classes in your year—A1 to E10—. Every class has a single main door, and behind that door is a long hall. From that hall, multiple spatial sigils branch out to your different classrooms."

She gestured as Mini Rhaena tapped several sigils, each one expanding into its own pocket of space.

"These sigils are labeled and large enough to avoid traffic jams. The halls for classes B1 through E10 are much wider than the others because they house the bulk of the student population."

Mini Rhaena continued flying through the hologram, highlighting a small library, a lounge filled with beanbag-like seating, and hallway facilities.

"On your floor," Rhaena said, "you'll also find the first-year general library, lounges, and all necessary amenities. Everything you need for basic student life is on this floor."

The hologram shifted upward again, expanding into the vast seventh floor.

"Now, this one is special." Rhaena smiled.

Mini Rhaena drifted reverently above shelves that spiraled into infinity.

"Floor seven is the Grand Library. It contains everything you will need academically. Books, scrolls, records, manuals, spell theory, formations, historical archives—you name it. If it's knowledge, it's here."

Orion's gaze lingered on this part a moment longer.

"That is all I'm allowed to say about the seventh floor," Rhaena added. "The rest is for you to discover."

The hologram shifted again, this time fading out the eighth, ninth, and tenth floors behind a translucent fog.

"Now for the ones you can't access," she said. "Floors eight, nine, and ten are either restricted, classified, or reserved for reasons you don't need to worry about. You will not be going there. If you try, the sigils simply won't respond. Very simple system."

Mini Rhaena tapped her bracelet, and the projection shifted, displaying a glowing band identical to the one the students wore.

"This," Rhaena said, "is what makes everything work. Your bracelet."

A number of students instinctively looked down at their wrists.

"It does more than track your points. Without it, you cannot activate any spatial sigil in the Main Spire. You also cannot access floors or halls you're not permitted to enter. For example—if you are in class D5, you cannot activate any sigil in the A1 hall, or the C4 hall, or anything outside your designated area."

Mini Rhaena tried touching a forbidden sigil. It buzzed red and pushed her back with a harmless ripple.

"And the same applies to floors," Rhaena continued. "A first-year cannot activate a sigil linked to the fifth floor. A second-year cannot enter the sixth without authorization. Everything is tracked through your bracelet."

The hologram slowly dimmed, folding back into the shape of the Main Spire before finally collapsing into a small sphere of light, which vanished in a soft blink.

Rhaena lowered her hand.

"Now… this tour is only the basics. There are countless facilities, hidden spaces, and surprises scattered throughout the academy. You'll discover them yourselves as you explore."

Mini Rhaena floated up one last time, waved cheerfully, and dissolved into motes of light.

Rhaena smiled at the hall.

"With this," she said, "none of you should be completely lost."

{A/N: Aiit people, I've put a lot of thought into this academic structure and orientation. I'd love to hear your thoughts.}
