Reborn with Consumption System

Chapter 133: A Bunch of Younger Brothers

Han Lie came out of the gym at exactly 8 o'clock, just as he was about to head back, when Pan Ge suddenly sprang out from nowhere.

"Surprise!"

She stood with her hands behind her back, swaying them playfully, her smile blooming like a flower on her face, utterly radiant.

Han Lie was a bit stunned. "How did you get here?"

"I'm checking in on you!" Pan Ge retorted, full of bold confidence, her expression a mix of pride and mischievousness.

So Han Lie got it. She must have been bored and came to act cute with me, huh?

He immediately wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead firmly.

"Alright then, let's go. We should get a room so I can give you a thorough inspection."

"PAH!"

She had been quite pleased when he kissed her, but she wasn't happy about being teased.

"Who wants to inspect your what-what? I just came to see if you've been flirting with any foreign beauties..."

"Nonsense!" Han Lie feigned annoyance. "How could she be bigger than you?"

"No, no, no, I can't compare!"

Han Lie hugged her a little tighter, his voice deep with meaning. "Don't underestimate yourself. You're a treasure, girl."

Pan Ge's cheeks flushed red from his teasing once more.

When it came to her, Han Lie never bothered with being aloof or reserved; he was always direct and playfully aggressive, a complete rogue. This was his different approach for different women—the strategy of a consummate playboy, applied with natural ease.

"Will you ever be serious? Come on, let's go. Sit with me for a bit; I still need to get home!"

Although she scolded Han Lie for not being serious, her eyes were full of expectation.

So Han Lie walked her across the street, his arm around her.

"Come on, let's find a café. I'll keep you company and chat."

Once they entered the café, Han Lie immediately asked if they had a private room, while she looked around, saying nothing.

Clearly, romantic feelings were blossoming in her heart!

Once they were alone… chat about what? Is talking really what mouths are for?!

Since they were out today, Han Lie hadn't chewed any gum. He relied purely on technique—good enough to earn a 'Level Three Professional Title,' so to speak.

Pan Ge was a complete novice in this department and couldn't handle it at all.

Kissed until she was dazed and her clothes were in disarray, she was actually quite satisfied.

"You dog, you were much gentler today. I can't handle it when it's too intense. This was just right…"

Han Lie looked at her still slightly swollen lips and couldn't help but worry. "You should put on some more lip balm. Don't let our mom catch you again."

Pan Ge immediately glared at him. "What do you mean by that? Are you afraid my family will find out?"

Han Lie saw his chance and began to probe, "Didn't you post on your Moments yesterday? Your parents should already know, right? Didn't they ask you?"

Actually, Pan Ge's Moments post had been quite cryptic and not at all straightforward. It was a photo of her playfully tugging at the corner of Han Lie's mouth while they were eating hot pot, captioned: "Let me introduce you, my silly dog."

Those in the know understood he was her boyfriend; those who weren't might have thought she was just teasing a goofy younger brother.

But Panzi and Zhao Anni would certainly react.

"Both of them?"

Pan Ge pursed her lips and let out a series of soft giggles.

"My dad was actually quite happy. He transferred one million to me for pocket money and gave me the keys to that sports car, telling me to take you out for a drive when I have time… As for my mom… sigh, you have no idea how exasperating she can be!"

Zhao Anni had a long chat with Pan Ge about various women's health and well-being topics, essentially rehashing all the old advice. A woman must be modest, respect herself, think things through clearly, and not be too indulgent in momentary pleasures… and so on and so forth.

In other words, her mother's attitude was: verbally, it was all, 'Whatever makes you happy, Mom supports you.' But in reality, the driver was always stationed nearby, she had to be home by midnight, and she wasn't even allowed to stay in her dorm anymore.

Pan Ge wasn't very rebellious, but she still possessed that self-assuredness typical of a wealthy girl from the '90s and didn't appreciate being managed.

"Of course, I know girls should respect themselves, but you forced me; it wasn't my idea! Now that you've taken every advantage, who am I supposed to be acting modest for?"

As she spoke, she grew angry again and playfully punched Han Lie on the arm.

"It's all your fault, you stinky rogue!"

Han Lie felt a metaphorical sweatdrop. My goodness, you're washing your hands of this so completely? All that passionate encouragement you gave me in the heat of the moment earlier means nothing now?

But only an idiot argues with a woman; a smart man just nods.

"Yes, yes, yes, it's all my fault. I'll listen to your instructions next time…"

The first part of his sentence was normal enough, but Han Lie really couldn't stay serious for more than a few seconds, something Pan Ge was already used to.

She sighed, her expression wistful. "Ah, you have no idea how broad-minded my dad is…"

Compared to Zhao Anni, Panzi was indeed incredibly broad-minded. He truly didn't care what happened between his daughter and Han Lie. In his view, every woman would experience that sort of thing sooner or later. If she met the right person, it wasn't necessarily a disadvantage for her. After all, their family had plenty of money. Whoever became their son-in-law would have to treat his daughter like a princess. Did it matter if she'd had a few boyfriends before? Not at all! As long as her partners weren't women, it was perfectly fine.

After mulling it over, Han Lie felt his future father-in-law's thinking was completely sound. If you had the chance to marry Li Fuzhen, would you care that she's 43 and divorced? Forget Li Fuzhen; whether it was Britney, Jessica Alba, or any other famous beauty, you probably wouldn't mind at all. So, for a girl like Pan Ge, plenty of men would be willing to take care of her long before she reached 40. And once Panzi transferred his wealth to her name, she'd still be the darling of handsome men even at 60. As long as her preferences were for men, if one relationship didn't work out, she could just find another. She'd always have someone to dote on her, no matter her age. Her dad truly has that classic tycoon mindset, Han Lie mused. He gets right to the heart of the matter.
