Cultivating with Bragging System

Chapter 179 Movement for the Rise of Sanqing_1

Upon hearing the words of the woman in red, the people around her couldn't help but exchange skeptical glances.

A rather refined-looking young man spoke with doubt, "Big Sister, the Ancestors tasked you with preparing training programs for our fellow sect members from the outside. Are you sure you're ready? If not, just say so. I have several alternative plans you can use directly!"

Luo Hongyi glanced at him. "Am I such an unreliable person?"

The crowd pursed their lips. They really wanted to say yes. But awed by Luo Hongyi's authority, they didn't dare object.

Luo Hongyi saw through their thoughts and huffed, "I didn't just prepare; I prepared everything comprehensively! From improving Mana quality to strengthening the physical body, and even enhancing the Divine Soul… and finally, combat skills! I prepared these programs in strict accordance with the knowledge passed down by our Ancestors! There's no fluff. It's a four-in-one package! Everything can be accomplished in a single step—it's simple and saves a ton of trouble!"

Hearing this, surprise filled the refined man's eyes.

Could their usually unreliable Big Sister really have been so meticulous this time?

His eyes filled with anticipation as he asked, "That sounds pretty amazing. Come on, Big Sister, tell us about it!"

Luo Hongyi looked at him and said flatly, "You'll find out soon enough."

With that, she fell silent, crossing her arms again to observe the scene below, her eyes flickering with an inscrutable light.

Seeing this, the refined man said no more. He silently gazed at Luo Hongyi's back, sighing inwardly.

I hope Big Sister doesn't mess around this time! Otherwise, the Ancestors might truly fly into a rage!

The world of the Ancient Sanctuary is vast and its resources are plentiful. At the same time, however, it is also quite empty. It's perfectly suitable as a treasury of wonders, but it's a terrible place for people to live. The first group of cultivators trapped here by mistake faced a loneliness so profound it often threatened to shatter their cultivation hearts.

But as time went on, the Ancient Sanctuary opened to the outside world once every eight hundred years. As exceptional talents came and went, those who remained discovered that their time here was not entirely futile.

They could procreate!

Because the Spiritual Energy here was rich and resources were abundant, the younger generations born here often progressed in their cultivation much faster than those outside. Moreover, since those who could enter the Ancient Sanctuary were almost always the top prodigies of their era, their bloodlines were also outstanding. The offspring they produced were almost never mediocre. This led to an idea: if they could produce enough descendants, these children could leave with the new disciples during the Holy Academy's next opening, providing another way to give back to their Sects.

Such an idea was undoubtedly excellent.

However, the rules of the Holy Academy stipulated that only living beings under a hundred years of age could pass through the portal to the outside world. Therefore, if they wanted to send talent outside, they had to begin procreating within the one-hundred-year window before the Holy Academy opened. Only then could the newly born youths leave the world of the Holy Academy.

Nevertheless, it seemed to be a rule of the Heavenly Dao that the more powerful a cultivator was, the harder it was for them to bear children.

Take Ji Yan, for instance. An Emergence Stage powerhouse, he had managed to sire just over a hundred children in more than eight hundred years of effort. This became even more difficult after stepping into the Saint Manifestation Realm.

Cultivators in the Saint Manifestation Realm undergo a complete sublimation and refinement of their Mana, physical bodies, and spirits. They have already transcended the ordinary to achieve sainthood and are no longer the same species as the common Human Race. The descendants they produce are almost never mediocre; they are the true scions of Saints. Not only were their physiques extraordinary, but their talents were also, without exception, incredibly formidable.

If such beings could procreate at will, how could so many Immortal Sects still stand in the cultivation world? It would have shifted to a clan-based model long ago!

Thus, a mere hundred years was hardly enough time for those old ancestors who had entered the Saint Realm to produce many descendants. It wasn't uncommon for the unlucky ones to labor for a hundred years and fail to produce a single child.

So, while the idea was good, the results were lackluster.

Still, it was better than nothing. Sending out even a few was considered a contribution to their Sect and the Immortal Alliance.

Furthermore, the old ancestors who had reached that level of cultivation had long seen through the secular world and lost such worldly desires. For them, intimacy was not a pleasant affair. Not only did they derive no enjoyment from it, but it also led to a loss of vital essence, which diminished their chances of making further breakthroughs. They would only "perform their duties" when they were truly bored and had no desire to cultivate.

This was the state of affairs for virtually every Great Immortal Gate within the Holy Academy.

But, there was one exception.

The Sanqing Immortal Sect!

Eight hundred years ago, when the Ancient Sanctuary last opened, the Sanqing Immortal Sect had already suffered a great calamity. Talent had withered, and the Sect faced the threat of utter annihilation.

That year, a young Zhuo Canglang and Luo Binglan entered the Ancient Sanctuary. There, they found the ancestral Watchers of the Sanqing Immortal Sect. At that time, the Sanqing Immortal Sect had a staggering thirteen Watchers. This number was utterly astounding, even when considering the entire Ancient Sanctuary. Not all of them were there because they had missed the window to leave; many had stayed by choice.

The Sect Masters of the Sanqing Immortal Sect had understood a certain principle throughout the generations: anything taken to an extreme will reverse, and that which is strongest must eventually weaken. Even if a few of them were to forget, the successive leaders of the Divination Sect would always remind them. Should an ominous portent ever appear, it would be too late to begin preparations.

Thus, even at the height of its power, the Sect never grew complacent. Instead, they made the solemn decision to send some of their most promising talents into the Ancient Sanctuary as a contingency.
