"Who was it that sent such powerful fluctuations soaring into the sky earlier?" The Tai Chi Great God, arms crossed, looked down imperiously upon Emperor Yi and asked arrogantly.

"I beg the Great God's forgiveness. We mortals possess little strength; how could we possibly know who they were?"

"How dare you deceive the God Clan, Emperor Yi! Confess the truth now!" The Tai Chi Great God glared furiously. His booming voice, charged with terrifying Heaven and Earth Divine Power, made Emperor Yi's eardrums ring, while the surrounding civil and military officials collapsed weakly, trembling incessantly.

"Great God, your perception is keen..." Emperor Yi gritted his teeth. Am I being tested, or does he already know? But thinking of the God of Hongmeng, he decided against revealing anything about King Wukong the King of Demons.

"HEY! I, Old Sun, am here! What stray dog is barking so wildly?" Just as Emperor Yi felt panicked and at a loss, King Wukong the King of Demons appeared, carrying his Golden Cudgel. He arrived on a somersault cloud, streaking in from the horizon. The dreadful Demon Qi made the expressions of both the Tai Chi Great God and Liuyue Great God turn grave.

"What an ugly monkey!" Liuyue Great God frowned, unable to hide her disdain. He wasn't a yellow-furred monkey, but an even uglier black-haired one. With a pointed snout and sunken cheeks. A face like the God of Thunder. So ugly he could stop a child's crying with a look.

"You wretched woman, you're courting death!" King Wukong the King of Demons became enraged. His originally dwarf-like stature instantly ballooned, transforming him into a massive, black-furred gorilla a thousand feet tall. The Golden Cudgel in his hand lengthened as he thrust it toward Liuyue Great God.

He was, at heart, a true demon: cruel, venomous, cunning, and prone to unpredictable fits of rage and volatile mood swings. Though his demeanor had seemingly improved significantly after he began to worship the God of Hongmeng, his fundamental nature remained unchanged.

"Be careful!" the Tai Chi Great God shouted, sensing an overwhelming surge of danger. But before he could react, Liuyue Great God, who stood beside him, was impaled by the Golden Cudgel. Her body hung in the air, skewered on the staff like a broken rag doll.

"Liuyue!" The Tai Chi Great God cried out in shock and rage. He and Liuyue Great God were lovers; despite her promiscuous nature, her graceful figure and sensuous body had always captivated him. Now, she was dead.

"Despicable monkey! I will end you!" The Tai Chi Great God roared, unleashing his formidable Divine Power in his most powerful attack. "Heaven and Earth Divine Power! The Power of the Blazing Sun!"

BOOM!

The Tai Chi Great God's terrifying Divine Power erupted like a volcano that had been building strength for ten thousand years. The Power of the Blazing Sun scorched everything in its path. The ground shattered. A sea of fire surged toward the heavens.

"It's the Tai Chi Great God's Heaven and Earth Divine Power!"

"So strong!"

"We must hurry!"

Sensing the commotion, Defying Heavens and other Ming Clan powerhouses raced towards Chaoge like shooting stars.

"Eat Old Sun's cudgel!" King Wukong the King of Demons sneered. Lifting the Golden Cudgel with both hands, he smashed it down fiercely, as if Mount Buzhou itself were collapsing, tearing the heavens and earth asunder, pulverizing everything. Regardless of the Heaven and Earth Divine Power or the Power of the Blazing Sun... before his cudgel, all turned to dust. With this cudgel in hand, the world is mine!

Defying Heavens, Dancing with the Wind, and the others had just arrived when they saw King Wukong the King of Demons strike the Tai Chi Great God on the crown of his head.

BANG!

His head exploded, his Primordial Spirit shattering. The Tai Chi Great God... was dead.

"So powerful!" Defying Heavens, Dancing with the Wind, and the other Ming Clan powerhouses were stunned. They had followed closely, not expecting the battle to be over so quickly. It had all happened too fast! Two Great Gods from the God Clan, slain just like that!

"Dead?" Business King Emperor Yi's eyes widened, his thoughts in turmoil. In his younger days, he had attempted to rebel against the God Clan and liberate the slaves. Consequently, he was thoroughly chastised by Tian Kui, the Dou Department God. He had witnessed the invincibility of Divine Power firsthand. But today... the myth of the God Clan's invincibility was shattered. The Demon King truly is a worthy Messenger of the God of Hongmeng. He is unbelievably strong!

BOOM.

Just then, an immense and terrifying presence descended from the sky. Emperor Yi and the others looked up. High above, a comet-like object plummeted from the heavens, emitting a potent aura as a blazing column of fire seared across the sky. Figures descended one after another, a continuous fiery meteor shower crashing down.

"It's him!" Emperor Yi's pupils constricted. He instantly recognized the newcomer. "It's him... Tian Kui, the Dou Department God!"

"The strongest general of the Six Departments of Heaven!"

"The only Great God personally bestowed the title 'Divine General' by Tian, Lord of the God Clan."

It was Tian Kui who had made me realize the true strength of the God Clan. He had crushed my will... and plunged me into despair.

BOOM.

A stream of light plummeted abruptly, unleashing a powerful shockwave that ravaged an area several thousand meters in radius. The ground within this several-thousand-meter radius fractured and split, sending debris flying. At the center, Tian Kui stood up. His entire body was deep crimson. He wore a string of Buddhist beads around his neck and a conical hat on his head. His three eyes emitted a cyan hue, and his physique was rough and brawny, standing about ten feet tall.

"The God's Eye Great Elder divined that Tai Chi and Liuyue were in danger and dispatched us as reinforcements. Yet, we still arrived a step too late!" Tian Kui looked at King Wukong the King of Demons, his stern eyes brimming with intense fighting spirit. He knew King Wukong the King of Demons was exceedingly strong. But I am Tian Kui, the Dou Department God! Fear is not an option.

Besides Tian Kui, two other Great Gods had arrived: Ten Punishments, the Dark God, and Gui Mu, the Plague Department God.

Ten Punishments, though a child of Tian, harbored a heart sympathetic to humans. He fell in love with a human woman, Mingyue, a romance that doomed both him and everyone connected to them to suffer misfortune and endure torments crueler than death itself. He bore the extreme curse—the "Mark of the Dead"—which allowed him to recover from any injury, even to resurrect if his body were turned to ash. Furthermore, the curse doomed him to an endless cycle of slaughter. Primarily tasked with hunting the Hidden God Division, he was hailed as the "God of the God Hunters."

"Haha! It has been a long time since I've encountered such an interesting powerhouse. I hope you don't disappoint me!" Dressed in black like the night, Ten Punishments had a heavy, robust physique, like a gorilla's. His eyes, dark and wolf-like, were fixed on King Wukong the King of Demons, his fighting spirit soaring. "Asura Field Divine Power! Dark Moon!" Ten Punishments attacked instantly. The terrifying Asura Field Divine Power erupted; the sky swiftly darkened as a blood moon loomed overhead.

"Mere parlor tricks! How dare you display such trifles before me, Old Sun!"

"Eat Old Sun's cudgel!"

With a sweep of his cudgel, King Wukong the King of Demons shattered the sky. The blood moon crumbled, and the blow sent Ten Punishments flying, heavily injured, to crash into a distant mountain.

"To rid yourself of the Mark of the Dead and break free from the God Clan, recite this 'Meditation Method'. You have only one chance. The choice is yours!"

The voice of King Wukong the King of Demons rang out. Ten Punishments, who was about to go berserk and charge back into battle, froze, an intense struggle visible in his eyes. Finally, he gritted his teeth and began to recite the "Meditation Method."

So strong! Tian Kui was aghast. Ten Punishments was incredibly powerful; even I wasn't confident I could defeat him. Yet now... Ten Punishments has been defeated in a single strike!

"Vajra World Divine Power!" Tian Kui channeled the Vajra World Divine Power, directly unleashing his strongest Divine Skill. "Tiandou Shattered Mountain!" In that instant, he pushed his Divine Power to its absolute limit. This move was purely offensive, offering no defense, its power boundless. Its terrifying aura rent the earth, overwhelmingly dominant and utterly savage.

"Earth Store World Divine Power! Underworld Dead Spirit Energy!" Great God Gui Mu stomped his foot into a bow stance, and a dark, pestilent Qi instantly erupted, engulfing a hundred-meter radius. "Divine Skill! Crazy Snake!" Countless snakes, formed from toxic, decaying, deathly, and malevolent Qi, surged towards King Wukong the King of Demons.

"The mere glow of a firefly, daring to compete with the radiance of the sun and moon!" King Wukong the King of Demons swept his Golden Cudgel. There were no fancy moves. He employed no Divine Skills or special techniques. He relied purely on brute force to overwhelm all techniques. Wielding his Heavenly God's Divine Power, any casual swing of his cudgel was far beyond anything these Great Gods, who had barely reached the Lower God level, could withstand. Wherever the Golden Cudgel passed, everything was smashed to dust.

"No!" Great God Gui Mu's pupils shrank in terror as he screamed, "Grand Elder, save me!"

THUMP.

The cudgel struck. The Great God Gui Mu perished.

For the glory of the God Clan, this is a worthy death! The Golden Cudgel filled Tian Kui's vision. I can't block this! Even knowing this, he neither called for help nor showed any fear. All he had left was a final, explosive burst of power. He faced death unflinchingly, like a soldier destined to die on the battlefield.

"HAAH!" His muscles bulged as he crossed his arms before him, the terrifying Vajra World Divine Power converging in his limbs, as if a single punch could shatter the very heavens.

The next moment, the Golden Cudgel swept across.

CRACK!

His seemingly indestructible iron arms instantly shattered. Meridians and bones throughout his body fractured, and his Primordial Spirit disintegrated. Tian Kui, the Dou Department God... was slain in battle!

A dead silence filled the heavens and earth.

"'You rat, God's Eye! Do you dare face me in battle?'" Having slain two Great Gods with his cudgel, King Wukong the King of Demons stood with an aura as magnificent as a rainbow, his head suddenly raised. His eyes, gleaming with divine light, projected beams towards the heavens, as if striking some unseen entity.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

It seemed as though everyone across the heavens and earth heard the sound of a mirror shattering.

"'It's the God's Eye Great Elder of the God Clan! His Divine power in the realm of emptiness is sublime; he's been secretly observing us from the shadows!' Dancing with the Wind said, her voice heavy with concern. The God Clan didn't just have the Great Gods of the Six Departments of Heaven. They also had even stronger Sage Sovereigns. And above the Sage Sovereigns stood the God's Eye Great Elder. He was a terrifying power, second only to Tian, the Lord of the God Clan.

Faced with the challenge from King Wukong the King of Demons, would the proud, dignified, and supremely arrogant God's Eye Great Elder descend to fight?

Could King Wukong the King of Demons defeat God's Eye, reputedly the second most powerful being in the God Clan?
