However, the conflict between Buddhism School and Zhao Baiyang is a true path contest; unless one side is swallowed by the other, there can be no compromise in this Great Tao struggle.

Buddhism School initially intended to assimilate Zhao Baiyang into their ranks, but he refused. Instead, he wished to establish his own power with his teachings, tantamount to setting up a new Buddhism School outside of the current one. How could the many strong believers of Buddhism School allow this to happen?

Those true powerhouses from top immortal sects know all too well that when Zhao Baiyang once rejected the invitation of Buddhism School, they did indeed become enraged and were about to send a Taoist Lord Bodhisattva to suppress him.

For Buddhism School, heretics are more detestable than heretical believers. While heretical believers might still be converted, heretics can only be suppressed.

"It seems that today, Buddhism School is destined to have an Arhat attain Nirvana!"

"Blasphemy! Today, I will suppress you, evil demon!" Fearless Venerate's eyes showed the fierceness of a Golden Vajra, cold and pitiless. His Zen Staff clanged, with each sound seeming to shake space and time.

Boom!

The next moment, Fearless Venerate swung his Zen Staff across space, smiting down towards Zhao Baiyang!

As he made his move, a giant phantom of Dharma Appearance emerged behind him, also bearing the fierce visage of a Golden Vajra.

The Zen Staff struck with a thunderous boom, shaking heaven and earth, even shattering space itself.

Zhao Baiyang shook his head slightly, chuckling softly.

His black hair danced wildly, mana pulsated around him, and with both hands he beckoned, drawing the endless essence Qi between heaven and earth toward him, absorbing it like a black hole endlessly consuming everything.

A Dharma Seal imbued with immense power appeared in front of him, resolutely meeting the Zen Staff head-on. The collision erupted with an earth-shattering force, the shockwaves impacting in all directions, causing the countenance of many spectating powerhouses to suddenly change.

"Is this the combat power of a True Immortal of the Sixth Layer Heaven?" A True Immortal's face turned grim; they were already at the Realm of the True Immortal Fifth Layer Heaven, yet the clash between the two felt like there was a vast gulf separating them, like worlds apart.
