One was an Innate Martial Artist, formidably strong and adept at direct confrontation. The other was a Postnatal Martial Artist whose strength was only at the peak of Postnatal Great Perfection, but who was extremely skilled in ambushes.
Without someone like Lin Qinghua, who possessed an Innate cultivation base, Wang Yu could only dispatch Postnatal martial artists to launch the attack. The goal was to ensure Xu Ke couldn't make it today. While Wang Yu might have disdained Xu Ke aloud, she remained sufficiently vigilant in her heart, worried that the elder alone wouldn't be enough to stop him.
And indeed, things unfolded just as Wang Yu had anticipated. A single Innate Martial Artist truly couldn't block Xu Ke's path. If Xu Ke hadn't broken through in his cultivation, one Innate Martial Artist would have been enough. But he had, and just like that, one was no longer sufficient. And just as coincidentally, Wang Yu had also called for a second person.

"Alright, tell President Yu that I'm taking him away." The middle-aged man pulled out his phone and sent the message.
Meanwhile, the elder was barely supporting himself as he tried to walk over to the middle-aged man. "Let's leave together."
"Sure." After sending the message, the middle-aged man looked the elder over. "We'll get a doctor to see you when we get back."
"Okay," the elder agreed.
"I think that's a good idea, too."
As soon as the words were out, the middle-aged man and the elder suddenly stiffened.
Where did that voice come from?
The middle-aged man instinctively looked down. A fist rapidly enlarged in his vision.
BANG.
The middle-aged man was punched so hard his nose was knocked crooked.
"You didn't pass out?" The elder's expression changed drastically. No longer able to suppress the poison, he rushed forward to support the middle-aged man.
"If you had been there the day I fought Ouyang Shuang to the death, you'd know why I didn't pass out," Xu Ke said nonchalantly.
Xu Ke could understand why the elder hadn't checked if he was truly unconscious; the old man was busy trying to suppress the poison. What he couldn't comprehend, however, was why this middle-aged man was more concerned with mocking him the moment he arrived.
What an idiot.
Even before his breakthrough, Xu Ke's punches could knock out Song Zhong and Yuk Ming. Now, he was in the Postnatal Late Stage. It was no surprise, then, that a single punch had completely neutralized the middle-aged man.
After helping the middle-aged man settle, the elder turned to Xu Ke, fury burning in his eyes. "Kid, it seems I really have to cripple you."
"Careful of the poison," Xu Ke chuckled.
"I can take care of you before it acts up!" the elder laughed in rage before stomping fiercely and attacking with all his might.
This time, however, Xu Ke was perfectly calm and didn't move an inch. Seeing this, the elder's heart leaped with joy.
Has Xu Ke run out of strength?
But in the next moment, the elder understood why Xu Ke wasn't moving.
A furious shout echoed through the garage. "Wong Hongsheng, you have some nerve!"
The elder, Wong Hongsheng, turned pale instantly. There was no mistaking who that voice belonged to. He turned his head and saw Wang Wu emerging from another gate, his face as dark as thunder. Wang Wu's gaze fell upon Chen Zhiyong, who lay on the ground. He recognized the man as one of Wang Yu's subordinates.
When he saw the fresh blood on Xu Ke's shoulder and the fabric of his clothes torn with finger marks by Wong Hongsheng, it was clear that Xu Ke had already fought his opponents. But what infuriated and, at the same time, astonished Wang Wu was that Xu Ke had managed to fight against two opponents alone—one Innate and one at Postnatal Great Perfection—and still hold his ground.
Xu Ke's cultivation is advancing at a terrifying pace!
"Mister Xu, my apologies for being late," Wang Wu said apologetically.
Xu Ke waved his hand. "Just in time. I was almost exhausted."
If Wang Wu had arrived a moment later, he would have been done for. Wong Hongsheng's claw strike had been ferocious, leaving Xu Ke nearly half-dead. Innate Maestros, especially those who focused on combat, possessed frighteningly powerful attacks.
Of the three Innate warriors Xu Ke had previously faced, Ren Gu was a jack-of-all-trades and thus not a good reference. Sun Luo and Ouyang Shuang both used Hidden Weapons; if Xu Ke had to face them head-on, he wouldn't be at too much of a disadvantage thanks to his hardened training. However, Wong Hongsheng's primary focus was on attack, and his True Qi was particularly fierce and formidable. After just one claw strike, Xu Ke knew he couldn't take a second. That was why, even after Wong Hongsheng was poisoned, he hadn't advanced, choosing instead to fire off all the Poison Darts he had left.
He truly hadn't expected, however, that Chen Zhiyong was hiding nearby. Once Chen Zhiyong showed up, pretending to be unconscious was the only option he had left. Somehow, his bluff had actually worked. All Xu Ke could think was that Chen Zhiyong's arrival had been incredibly timely.
As for Wang Wu's appearance, Xu Ke had called for him in advance. If Wang Yu could think to send people to cause trouble, it was only natural for them to consider the same possibility. So, when Xu Ke had arrived, he had instructed Wang Wu to come down, but to avoid the elevators and the stairwell, taking a different route if possible. In Xu Ke's estimation, all the important areas were likely under watch by Wang Yu's people. Otherwise, there was no way they could have fought for so long without a single person passing by.

After the seemingly effortless battle was over, Wang Wu, holding the completely unconscious Wong Hongsheng, tossed him next to Chen Zhiyong. "How should we deal with them?"
"Let others handle it. Let's head up," Xu Ke said. "Wang Yu must not know I'm still conscious. She'll likely lower her guard. But please, Uncle Wu, help me choose a route that avoids surveillance and her informants. I don't want her to know I'm here."
He had feigned unconsciousness not only to fool Wong Hongsheng and Chen Zhiyong but also to deceive Wang Yu. Since she had been careful enough to send two martial artists after him, she must have anticipated the possibility that he might break through their encirclement. To avoid any other traps Wang Yu might have waiting for him, he had decided to play dead, waking up only after Chen Zhiyong had sent his message. That way, he could avoid any further schemes she might have for him upstairs.
"Alright, Mister Xu, please follow me," Wang Wu said with a smile. He took out his phone and made a call. "Send someone to the B-wing elevator exit on parking level B2. Clean this up."
Then, Wang Wu left with Xu Ke.

「Fifth floor, press conference venue.」
"Excellent." Staring at the message she had just received from Chen Zhiyong, Wang Yu was very satisfied.
"President Yu, how did it go?" Wong Liqing asked, becoming excited as he saw Wang Yu's triumphant demeanor.
"Handled with ease, of course," Wang Yu said, her lips curling into a smile. "Xu Ke has probably been escorted out of the Wang Family Corporation by now."
"Good, good!" Wong Liqing exclaimed. "President Yu, you truly are prophetic! You knew he would come."
Wang Yu sneered, her voice dripping with superiority. "Of course. The only thing on Xu Ke's mind is how to use Qifu to climb the social ladder. So, there was no doubt he would come."
As soon as she finished speaking, Wong Liqing nodded repeatedly. "That makes sense, that makes sense!"
But then, he seemed to remember something and frowned. "But, President Yu, how can we be sure that Qifu won't say something out of line at the press conference?" They could knock Xu Ke unconscious, but they couldn't do the same to Wong Qifu.
Wang Yu replied calmly, "Without Xu Ke here, as long as she cares even a little about her position as Chairwoman, she won't speak recklessly."
Her thinking was simple. She knew Xu Ke's only reason for coming was to refute all of last night's slander and to announce his engagement to Wong Qifu. That's why she had to stop him.
