A few minutes later, Elarion returned to where Daniel and Vorak were standing. He bowed once again.
"Tell me what you found."
"My Lord, just as you said, there really are monsters in there. But not ordinary ones. Do you see those rocks?" Elarion pointed at the stones blocking the entrance of the shelter.
"So?" Daniel frowned. Something came to his mind, especially since this place was called Titan Island.
"Those rocks are the monsters themselves. If I'm not mistaken, they're something like stone giants, but for some reason they give off a strange and different feeling."
"Stone giants… stone titans… I see." Daniel muttered to himself as his gaze fixed on those stones.
If he wasn't mistaken, those stone giants had to be a race of the titan species, most likely what was called Stone Titans. But he couldn't be sure, since he had little familiarity with that kind of monster.
At a glance, they looked strong, but they shouldn't be able to pose much of a threat to him.
Still, the thought that these same Stone Titans might have been able to defeat or even kill a group of Rank A Awakened made the warning bells in his heart grow louder.
He wanted to use the communication talisman he had received from Varnos to contact the outside and pass on the information, and maybe learn something about these monsters.
However, to his surprise, the talisman didn't work. Daniel's expression didn't change. He only sighed. He had already guessed this.
After all, the ones who entered before him had also lost their connection. Clearly, talismans stopped working in this place.
He looked at his two Fallen, then blood flowed beneath his feet and dozens of his Fallen appeared.
One by one, they knelt down and spoke in unison.
"Glory to our Lord."
"How many Stone Titans were there?" He looked at them, then at Elarion.
"Dozens, all of them Rank A. And there was also a human man imprisoned inside, just as you mentioned."
"I want you to go after those Stone Titans you see there and take them down. I don't know if they can actually be killed, but just make sure they can't do anything." Daniel nodded and looked at his Fallen.
The Fallen, led by Zaimorn, nodded back and disappeared from their spot. A moment later they appeared in front of the group of stone giants.
The titans were clearly shocked. They couldn't understand what had just happened, but they grew furious and even let out ear-splitting roars.
Their roars shook the trees within a ten-kilometer radius. They rose from their places and began fighting against the Fallen with great power.
Every strike they threw seemed strong enough to shake the whole forest. It even looked like one of them managed to kill one of the Fallen.
But to their shock, that same Fallen came back to life, leaving the Stone Titan confused and stunned.
"Their physical strength is greater than I thought." Daniel muttered to himself as he watched the Stone Titans.
He stood at a distance, observing the battle, and decided not to intervene. There were several reasons. First, he didn't want to use his own power yet and preferred to stay cautious.
Second, he had a bad feeling, like something was happening, though he couldn't tell exactly what it was.
From the moment he entered this dungeon, he had felt that way. And now, the feeling was even stronger.
"Strange… why do these titans have emotions? Human-like emotions?" He frowned, realizing something.
He could see in their eyes emotions usually only found in humans, something you wouldn't expect from Stone Giants.
"Could it be…?" A thought crossed his mind, though it seemed far too unlikely.
Even stranger, he noticed that some of the titans were using magic, and their instinctive strategies resembled those of humans.
"My Lord, now is the time." Elarion suddenly appeared near him and spoke.
Daniel nodded and cast one last glance at the three-meter-tall Stone Titans. Seeing that the entrance was fully open, he vanished from his spot.
He walked carefully and, before being forced into a clash with the Stone Titans, he managed to slip into their lair.
He stopped and quickly looked around. It was a simple lair, without light or fire for warmth, as if it was only a place to sleep.
It wasn't very big, more spread out than deep. He moved forward while Elarion guided him.
It didn't take long to reach the end of the lair. In front of them, a human man was chained with mana chains.
He looked unconscious, as if he had lost a lot of blood. His body was badly wounded, covered in deep gashes.
"It's really him… William Rigar." Daniel recognized the man's face. He quickly ordered Elarion to bring him down.
"He should be able to survive." Seeing that William was still breathing, Daniel let out a sigh of relief.
Even though he despised this man's father and brother, he couldn't let him die right now. After all, he most likely knew what had happened to the others.
Mana surged from Daniel's body and entered William's, beginning to heal all his wounds.
Ever since he had built his spiritual palace, he could use his Mana Healing freely to heal others without limitation.
While William's injuries were mending, the Fallen quietly entered the Stone Titans' lair as well.
"My Lord, we defeated those stone beings. However, just as you said, they cannot be killed, so we restrained them instead." Zaimorn reported respectfully.
"Good. I'll deal with them after this." Daniel nodded.
At that moment, William slowly opened his eyes.
"Where am I?"

( A/N : Sorry about the recent irregular uploads, I was a bit busy and couldn't keep things consistent, but now it's sorted out and we should be back to 3–4 chapters a day.
It's time to decide on harem or no harem.
My decision is no harem, and it seems like for the majority it doesn't really matter.
So we'll go with no harem.
