Everlight Moon Guild, Personal Training Room
Daniel slowly opened his eyes, and the moment he did, a terrifying and dreadful energy burst out of his body, strong enough to make the space around him tremble a little.
His eyes glowed golden, but deep within those beautiful eyes was a power that looked like it could destroy the world.
He stretched out his hand, mana gathered, and formed into a blade that struck toward the wall in front of him. The blade easily pierced through the wall.
However, the next moment the wall automatically restored itself as if nothing had happened.
"I finally reached rank A." A smile appeared on his face as he let out a breath of relief. He didn't know exactly how long it had been, but he knew he had finally succeeded.
First, he checked his spiritual senses. They had grown nearly ten times stronger and now covered a far larger range. He could even see through some of the strongest arrays with ease.
He released his spiritual senses, and in less than a second, they spread across the entire room. He wanted to extend further, but several arrays blocked him.
He smirked and released more power. In the next instant, it was as if those arrays didn't even exist. His senses extended far beyond the room, quickly covering the entire floor.
That wasn't the limit. The next moment, his senses spread across the entire building, then the guild headquarters, and soon more than one-third of the entire city came into view.
Now he could fully see over one-third of the city! And it wasn't a small city—it was far larger than an ordinary one.
At this point, his spiritual senses alone could easily cover entire ordinary cities.
Just as he smiled, suddenly something struck him. His spiritual senses instantly shattered before he could even react.
Then a cold growl echoed in his ears, but nothing else happened. It was just a warning.
"Well, I should've expected this." He gave a bitter smile. Naturally, there were powerful awakened out there, and most of them didn't like being spied on.
Someone had just blocked his entire spiritual sense, but clearly, they had only done it as a warning and nothing more.
"I can't wait to obtain Divine Sense. With that, I'll probably be able to cover half the country." He murmured to himself, excitement flashing in his eyes.
After that, he ignored his spiritual sense and began checking his body. He could see that the amount of energy inside him had increased nearly a hundredfold.
An enormous amount of energy now flowed through his body, coursing through his organs and bones.
Next was the strength of his body itself. His physical power had leapt forward to another level. He could feel the sheer toughness of his flesh just by looking at it.
Right now, his body had reached a point where probably no one below rank S could even injure him—maybe only some of the stronger pseudo rank S could.
Then he looked at his skeletal structure. His bones had become denser and far stronger, to the point that their resistance was probably tougher than a mountain itself.
"In the end, to really know how much stronger I've gotten, I'll need a fight." He murmured to himself.
He could roughly estimate his strength, but it was still just guesses. To be sure, he needed to fight against a strong opponent.
The best choice would be to battle against a pseudo rank S, like Zaimorn. He even thought about summoning him right now to have a fight.
But before that, he decided to finish his inspection. His gaze turned toward his spiritual sea—or rather, what was now his spiritual palace.
Where his spiritual sea had once been, a golden spiritual palace now stood, shining brightly, exuding an oppressive power that made it feel like the greatest existence between heaven and earth.
The palace was massive, with a beautiful structure, floating in a void, connecting his body and soul.
More importantly, it was now the place where his Fallen lived, and also where the Eternity Flower and the Death Tablet resided.
Seeing it made him smile. This was exactly what he meant when he said he would carve his own path.
The whole theory and concept of the second requirement for advancing from rank B to rank A was upgrading the spiritual sea into something stronger, since a normal sea couldn't handle the energy of a rank A body.
Daniel had realized that building an ocean of spirit wasn't the only way—it was just the most known and accepted path. That didn't mean it was the only path.
He remembered the Transcendent Scripture. Within it was a technique that allowed the user to transform their spiritual sea into a palace.
This palace had unique traits, such as letting its owner use the abilities of all professions—warriors, mancers, healers, and so on.
That trait wasn't very important to him since, for reasons he still didn't fully understand, he could already use the abilities of all professions without needing the palace.
But it gave him an idea—why not use this method to reach rank A? He wasn't sure if it would work, but it was worth trying, at least for him.
So he did it. He used the technique, and while his spiritual sea transformed into a palace, he fueled it with his own life force, strengthening it further and further.
On its own, the palace was ten times stronger than a normal spiritual sea. But since Daniel used nearly ninety percent of his life force to empower it, the strength had risen to a hundred times.
In a way, he had created a path even easier than the second method, which required help from the Tower, and his path came with many advantages.
Of course, it wasn't something he could just teach to anyone, nor could just anyone use it. After all, one first needed to master the Transcendent Scripture.
As far as he knew, besides himself, only five other people since the technique's creation had ever managed to learn it. So this "easy path" was only usable by those five.
Also, now he could freely cultivate as many Supreme Laws as he wanted, combine their sources, and forge his own personal source.
He then glanced at the Mother System notifications to see if he had finally received his next innate skill. The answer was no.
He groaned, but didn't care too much. He would probably receive it when he reached rank S.
Then he pulled out his phone to check how much time had passed. He only hoped it hadn't been too long.
But when he saw that more than seven days had passed, his pupils widened and he stared at the screen in disbelief.
Quickly, he went to his contact list and called Lana.
