SSS GRADE TALENT: Master of the Heavenly Path

Chapter 79: THE ECHO BEFORE THE CHAOS.

"I don't have enough Hana," Reith said, gritting his teeth while he faced the beast.

This was a B-grade Frost Tiger.

He could not afford to make any mistakes.

"Reith, you are a Core Master now. Your level has improved quite well," Ruach spoke.

"Thank you. Is there something I don't know?" Reith asked, hoping for some plan from his guardian.

"I have quite a good amount of Hana. You can work with it."

At the end of his sentence, a hot feeling permeated every part of Reith's body, and his eyes widened.

This amount of energy... it was more than enough.

"Thank you, Ruach," Reith said, and faced the beast with a different gaze.

"It's yours now," Ruach said with a smile.

With a short nod from Reith, the Frost Tiger had enough intelligence to understand that something was different.

A large rumbling shook the earth.

It was followed by the rising of a large wave of ice.

And at the same time, it rushed for the Frost Tiger.

Due to Ruach's unlimited Hana, there was a massive difference between the Frost Tiger's technique and Reith's.

Meanwhile, in the large arena, Kane smiled like a madman.

"Haha, Leon! Did you see that? I knew that kid was special," he said with a grin.

Leon simply nodded his head.

With what Reith had just done, his potential was clearly obvious.

But it was not something to be happy about.

Leon was worried.

If this kid was a powerhouse now, it served as a declaration of war to other regions.

They had to keep this one with them at least.

The crash shook the very core of the ground that Reith stood on.

He was panting. Using Ruach's mana definitely took its toll.

But the tag on his chest flickered, and the numbers glitched.

Fifteen points.

It was what he had gotten.

The crowd was in awe as the large screen flickered, and it looked like someone had moved.

There was a different name in the fifteenth position, and it was not someone they expected.

"The SSS grade? What's his name? Did you see what he did?"

Many questions were passed around, but if they did not focus on Reith, they would not be able to see it.

"I need to find Isho," Reith muttered, and he turned around.

There was no time to waste anymore.

"Do you have a way to find him?" Ruach's voice echoed.

"Hana sight," Reith spoke.

In the next moment, his eyes glowed as golden lines followed through them and down to light up the veins in his body.

With Ruach's Hana still in use, Hana sight had turned into a more improved version.

He had to pass through this place and locate the first human he sensed.

Above the students, a holographic map formed, and Leon's voice echoed through their ears.

"There's been an update. The red dots are the beasts, while the white dots signify the humans. Do your best, everyone," Leon informed them.

Isho stepped out of the swamp.

He was grateful for practicing that technique. "Thank you, Urek." Although the bird was currently asleep, he knew that it had done so much.

Defense was not an easy job.

Now he had to go find his friend.

He was about to move when he heard a loud crash above him.

Someone landed into the ground and skidded to his feet.

The dust cleared, and Isho widened his eyes.

"Terra?!" He exclaimed and went down to her.

Half of her body was nearly covered in ice, and her breath was chilly.

Terra opened her eyes slightly. "Run." The word gave rise to goosebumps on Isho's body.

Without waiting for another moment, he carried Terra on his back and moved with speed.

If Terra could not defeat whatever was coming, he did not think he had a chance.

Right now, Urek was asleep.

There was no point staying for a fight he would not win.

Isho clenched his fist. This was what made Reith different.

Reith would have stayed for their sake, and he would have fought just to win.

"Terra, what happened to you?" Isho muttered, but he kept his focus on escaping.

Ashraf narrowed his eyes.

He could not believe a mere human was able to bring Terra back.

Who was this person?

Even Leon had a frown on his face. He did not remember recommending this person, which meant this person was not from their region.

"They want to play a dangerous game," he chuckled.

This was the Final Selection. It was a competition that brought together everyone from the same continent.

The Azure Region was always behind in every competition.

Now that he had gotten hope, these people were here to crush it.

Who would have thought their most powerful student would be tossed aside?

Meanwhile, a man leaned at the entrance of the arena.

His eyes were locked on the top seats.

There was a smirk on his face as he sucked on his cigarette.

A coughing fit escaped him, and blood flowed down his lips.

But this only seemed to excite him more.

The healers had said he had a few weeks to live, so this was the best time to do something big.

"Curse those magic users. You use magic yet you cannot cure me. Pitiful," Levi said, taking another puff.

"Seems I underestimated this kid, but good thing I brought company. King Venrad would be so happy," Levi chuckled, wiping the blood from his lips.

His heated gaze turned to Leon.

"You will regret rejecting me, Leon. I will burn your so-called castle in front of you." Levi was ruthless.

Back to the competition, Reith was moving with intense speed.

He could see an incoming white dot coming close to him, but right behind the dot was a large red one.

It simply meant these people were being chased.

"They are bringing that monster over here," Reith frowned.

Then he suddenly caught a glimpse of white hair.

"Isho!" Reith called out in an instant.

Hearing his name, Isho knew who owned the voice.

"Reith, run back!" he shouted.

Reith was confused, and then he realized that the red dot was getting closer.

There was also something on Isho. No, someone.

"Is that Terra?"
