The moment he stepped out of the gate, the air of the capital turned suffocating, with black clouds looming over the sky out of nowhere. Furthermore, he was not alone; following behind were demons that appeared extremely close to humans and with five horns protruding from their heads.

Demon Generals, beings who stood above the high grade demons and possessed the power to raze an entire city all by themselves. What's more, there were more than five of them flying behind Skarnyx.

Then came hundreds of high ranking demons, thousands and thousands of middle ranking demons, and uncountable low ranking demons.

In the blink of an eye, the place had turned into a nightmare. The residents of the capital who looked up fell into despair. However, the true despair was yet to begin.

Lord of Maniacs stepped forward and unleashed his powerful aura and status effects that pushed the people of the capital into a deeper pit of hell.

The Twelfth Heavenly King— The Lord of Manaics asserts his titles.

[Ashen Despair]- Whenever a human ally falls in battle, nearby humans suffer a brief morale collapse (-5% defense/attack for a few seconds). Demons grow emboldened with each fallen human, stacking a +2% attack boost (up to 20%).

Nevertheless, there was still a fundamental difference in level between them and a Heavenly King. Their titles could not completely disperse the despair that the latter exerted.

It was at this moment, one of the heroes of Aetherion shouted. His voice, commanding and distinct, rang powerfully across the capital.

Following his shout, a piercing cry spread through the city, and a mighty creature landed in the royal palace a few seconds later.
